I'm always suspicious of these things...

But what could be holding him up? Had it been ropes/strings you'd think he'd "swing" in some way... He was awfully static in the air.

I have dreams that I levitate as high as clouds, and it's all controlled by breathing... when I see how he breathes it reminds me of these dreams... curious.

I too was thinking that it was pretty convenient that he decided to perform at night but perhaps that is part of the ritual.

And like Scarlet, I think he looked a little too static to be actually held by strings or something of the sort.

I've even heard stories from my relatives about these shaman (actually, they're called witchdoctors at home....or cuandeiros/feticeros). The stories they tell are of them performing feats like teleporting and what have you. My relatives are very religious too so they'd have no reason to lie, I guess.

As much as my skeptical virgo moon and Cap Asc HATES to say this, I honestly believe the shaman was levitating. There was no box behind him like in Cris Angel's demonstration, and there was no way there could've been strings behind him considering how static he looked when he was in the air. Cuandeiros and Feticeros have been known to do some strange things back at home and I wouldn't be so quick to write off levitation as one of them.

I believe that anything is possible if you put your "mind" to it.

However, i've also watched David Blane over and over and over do this "trick" and thats all it is, is a "trick" an illusion ... I can levitate!! After figuring out his ways, i came home and told my man, i can levitate. He laughed at me and said "I've GOT to see this" ... i did it and he busted up laughing and said "How in the world did you do that" - MAGIC! i replied. I then filled him in on the way it needs to be done, so it appears i am levitating. He was floored.
