Folks, be careful who you trust on the internet. Lia, I, and a few others found out the hard way that some folks cannot be trusted,
and sadly these emotional parasites often are the ones we have tried to help. They often come across as friendly and very loving(and they make sure to tell us how loving(or great) they are, first clue we missed, a truly loving person does not have to tell anyone)......but all that niceness is only selfserving, and that eventually changes to ridicule, anger, and betrayal as their moods swing wildly, and or one disagrees with them.
Alot of us are wiser now, albeit a bit jaded and singed.
I am not saying stop trying to help folks. Just trust no one too soon.
PS. Not all folks asking for help and understanding are ego-cetric emotional Vampires or parasites. Many folks asking for advice and or help Are genuinely nice folks! Don't let the bad apples spoil your perceptions of all folks, but be careful
until you figure out if it is a real nice healthy red apple or a pretty, shiny, poisoned one.

I have asked myself the same thing. Why would folks do this to her? Well the ones that do are emotionally and mentally unbalanced and or jealous and bite eventually the hand reached out to them in compassion, kindness and love.
In my opinion, They appear to want absolute worship and control, not help or love. They do not want to change. They take perverse pleasure in bemoaning their lot in life, and the attention they get from nice loving folks. Manic Depressive/Passive Aggressive folks often draw folks like Lia and others who want sincerely to help them. Watch for the chaotic mood swings. If it happens too often or is severe, those folks need serious help, not anything any of us can do for them in the long run.
