Has anyone ever noticed that things tend to happen in 3's? It's something i've known for some time now, but just now really got to thinking about how true the saying really is. Why do you think this is? Or is it just me? being a 3 my-self ...What got me thinking about this was my cousin's father in law died recently. A couple days later a child i knew and grew up in the same neighborhood as him and his parents dies. That evening when i found out, i couldnt help but think "Who's next i wonder?" Everything happens in 3's ... there were already 2 ... shortly i will know of someone else. That evening, a friend called and asked if we could watch their puppy as thier old dog, Lady had passed away. Now lady was not human, but she was a life here on earth, whom i personally knew and loved. And she was #3. What are ur thoughts as to why this 3 phenomenon happens? Yes, it is a saying in my family too, it doesn't apply for everything but there are certain things that happen that way for me too.
Like death and when something breaks come to mind.

Sucky things usually happen in 3s I have noticed.

I have noticed that deaths always happen in 3's - whether you know them or not. I particularly notice this with celebrities.What do you think it is with the number three!??? IP: Logged |

I am a 3 myself and am open and receptive to 3's around me. Fives tend to appear often as well as 10's for me. But i havent noticed this effect of things happening in any other number besides 3. good or bad. As for this 3 phenomenon ... I now know it's not just me!! Its something on a larger scale. Many people have told me they too have believed it to be true. Now, i notice it in death but i also notice it in life in general. When someone announces an engagement, two more usually follow. When a accident happens, 2 more usually follow. When a person quits their job, two others may be looking for jobs, when my good friend told me his woman was preggers, guess what 2 more people announced it in the same time frame, therefor 3 babies were born with in a couple months of each other ... it goes on and on and on .... like i said earlier, i've always known this to be true .. but have been thinking about it more and more and realizing how facinating it really is. When something happens, good ro bad, i find my self waiting for the 2nd and 3rd .... so with thoughts creating reality ... with me believing this and concentrating/waiting/thinking on it ... am i creating the next 2 after the 1st? I know 3 is the holy trinity. Some say, past, present and future. But I still cant seem to understand the connection. of why ... 3's. Why not 4? or 2? Why threes? whats the significance? IP: Logged |

lol, and of course the saying "3 sheets to the wind" also ... came to mind ... but may be more of a 3 thang than fitting into the happening in 3's ordeal. anywho ... 3 Bling Mice

Hey mate, I'm really sorry I didn't reply earlier as this subject has a warm spot in heart You have to love 3s, anyone that doesn't is probably an anarchist, as I feel 3 is the number of harmony first and foremost. Yes, good things come in threes, but is a crowd good? All things come in threes if the world is balanced Or your perception. If you tune out after the first or second, then maybe you miss the third, but you can always create a third to create the balance. It's like there are three names for the soul - spirit, soul, and higher self, but what of the astral body? Well, three bodies, astral, physical, and higher? Three selfs, normal, alter, and higher also. Minds? Brain, mind, thought, I think I'm over simplifying but bear with me. 3, 6, and 9 are linked in many ways as Linda has stated, but I like to look at things simply, like the first three numbers (which happen to be the same values in Pythagoras and Chaldea as the first three letters) 1, 2, 3. 1 is teaching. 2 is learning, 3 is harmonizing. 1 X 3 = harmonizing = teaching harmony. 2 X 3 learning harmony = love. 3 X 3 = the ultimate harmony = POwer. Power minus Harmony = Love. Love plus Harmony = Power. First, you teach, then you learn, then you harmonize (if you succeed at learning, which you have to succeed at teaching first!) So, how do you teach initially? Well, I believe this stems from your personality - who are You? When you demonstrate this to others, you have graduated from a child. Now, as an adolescent, you learn. What do we learn? How others teach! The human school of life, how we are received, and how we receive others. We learn who we are through seeing through other eyes (Is). So, now we learn who we are after having taught who we *thought* we are (as Pearl Jam has sung "I thought I thought the world, turns out the World thought me" ( always thought this was fought, but I'm pretty sure now it's thought)). So, now we've learned who the world thinks we are, and potentially our place in it. Here comes the harmony. So you could even say this revelation came in threes  cont'd... IP: Logged |

Great stuff, you gotta love threes. It's like when you're writing a sentence, it never feels right to say "I found Love and Peace", but rather, "I now know Love, Peace and Happiness". As a slight aside, I never really understand whether there should be a comma after Peace in the previous sentence, I always put one in there until recently when I noticed an application always missed them out, but I'm sure they're wrong, and will debate this with any English lits out there as I feel the English language is very much alive and open to interpretation, evolution, and further understanding. Greetings...Was just having this conversation with a Teacher of mine. If you look at an astrological aspect you might see some connections as to why this trinity might happen more often than not. Usually, though not ALWAYS, when you get an astrological aspect to your nativity, particularly from a ponderous planet like Saturn on out, you will get the first pass over (or to the natal planet). Then the planet will turn Rx and pass over the birth planet (or aspect it) a second time. Finally, when that ponderous planet goes direct again, it will make one final pass over (or to) that same natal planet... touching off the third notable event in the series. Just a thought... You know, that is an interesting theory A, concerning Astrological attractions. Do you also think these influences could attract numbers in a like-like situation, like-opposite, or additive / harmony vibration? I guess there is a lot to consider. I also think that Astrological influences directly affect how we perceive phenomena such as these, so instance, a Virgo with a lot of Sag may attract a lot of "good luck" but never notice the frequency and take it in stride, but a different Sag (for exmple) could think all things smile at her. I often wonder (and sometimes create this as a thread in my head) if knowing who we are Astrologically and Numerologically actually affects and changes us, and hence, are we really better off knowing if we are no longer who we were? I know what you *might* say that all knowledge is useful and leads us on our path, but really, I sometimes question how much we should know about ourselves. It can be addictive, to the point where other people just don't understand how you could see things like that, that they are Astrologically immune. What do you (and of course everyone out there) think? You could also say that self-knowledge is completely subjective, that we create who we are through what we reject or feel is not useful to who we want to be (more CWG influence there ).Heaps of Love,

I've also heard about the death in celebrities, but that actually happened to people I know in my neighborhood, the lady who was living next door died in the first week of the month, the next one was another lady and she passed away in the second week, and the last one was my grandfather during the third week!!
