To all those who have read Gooberz, I would really really love to hear your interpretation on the part about the brain being unto a generator that stores memories of all the different souls who have resided in it and relating to the new soul who is able to enter at the saturn seven cycle. This is because this concept has really thrown me as I would like to believe that what I remember myself doing seven or more years ago was still me? Please post your commentsIP: Logged |

I agree with blue, but I also have not read that book  I think its the opposite way around actually. Your memories of all your lives are stored in your soul which exists on a different lvl of reality, your brain (your awareness) is the computer like operating system that can access this information when it learns how too. Good description, however it is more complex than that. A CD can have 600 mb of information stored on it. However, until it is inserted into a drive on a computer, one cannot access the information.
Your memories of past lives are in your soul. They have integrated with your soul and are easily accessed while not in body. While in body your body acts as a computer and does not access those past life memories as easily , treating them instead as compressed files which require a password or key to access while in body. Your brain receives information which has been filtered and buffered by your aura, which then passes into your brain. This information is used as your easily accessed information or RAM. Other information stays in your aura until physical death. That new information is them taken in to the soul from the aura. When you reincarnate, the foetus you move into will have generated a new aura by usually 12 weeks, for your soul and body to live within.

Hi Goat Girl, I have read Gooberz. My advice is not to take Linda's words as gospel. She was a human being just like the rest of us. And it is obvious (now) to me from what i read in Gooberz, she did not realize the "whole Truth". I think her broken heart severely colored her thinking on soul-mates. Her spin on the Saturn 7 cycle probably stemmed from knowing the fact that every seven years the billions of cells in our bodies are replaces by billions of new cells. "Every seven years, they (biologists) say, we grow a totally new body - all-new flesh and blood and bones, manifested out of a body template that we are holding somewhere in a kind of personal spiritual warehouse. Truth is, we are transforming ourselves from moment to moment, replacing the old for the new - not only physically, but also emotionally, mentally, and spiritually." Which coincides with Saturn conjuncting, squaring, and opposing (then squaring, conjuncting etc.) it's position natally, every seven years or so. And then there an occurance that some call "walk-ins". Also, i've heard of something psychologists term as "Magical Thinking". Some of this might apply to her. Linda had diabetes. I've often wondered if and how this effected her brain and thinking patterns. It is interesting if you look into diabetes and its effects on the brain and have read Gooberz. There is more to say, but i wont.
I hope i havent offended any of her followers. I think Sun and Love Signs were her greatest works.

there was much in hidden codes and ideas in Linda Goodman's writing. much more than was apparent in the surface material. she had to use various covers for her actions, as the cia worked at sabotaging her work and life. they kidnapped her daughter Sally. LG was working on a book detailing these facts titled Spider Line shortly before her unexpected death. Gregory Ellison discussed these issues in depth before his untimely death, on his Linda Goodman website, now known as Conscious Evolution.IP: Logged |

To a person beginning an occult path Gooberz will provide a good variety of esoteric mysteries to ponder on. I dont feel that Linda even fully understood the mysteries she shared with us. A few parts in the book made that obvious. She was a wise and lovely woman (not to mention a gifted writer) and not unlike many people i've met in my life. IMO, the "hidden codes" are often things people are extracting meanings out of that she may not have intended for them to, which is okay too (for the learning experience). It's not a complicated book but might seem cryptic or mystifying at first or even third or fourth glance. The book did help me on my path to a certain extent. It arrived at the right time as books, people and everything else often does.  Overall, it's an enjoyable read and you will figure out what to take with you from it and what to leave behind over time. (just another opinion ) Happy reading.   IP: Logged |

Yes, Linda was a human woman. She was like us, she could do wonderful things or make mistakes, or errors in perception. She wrote wonderful things as with Sun Signs and Love Signs. But as you indicated; Linda had her own troubles and serious health issues later on that can affect one's thinking.
Even in her Lexigramming she made many errors. These errors are still in her Star Sign book after all these years. I wonder why
she did not double check and proof her work and tell her publishers about it.

Thanks for the full quote, naiad. That is a great reason to love LG as long as you follow her advice there and honestly test out her concepts on your own. Of course her personal truths will not mesh with everyone elses and that doesnt mean the person just hasnt figured out "the Truth" yet. For example, there was a time when i believed the physical body could be made immortal after reading chapter 9 in Star Signs and spending time reading on this website. And that by repeating a mantra or affirmations and visualizing my cells spiralling backwards etc. i could simply live in this physical body as long as i wanted to. After time (..not too much time though lol! ), lots of thought, research and testing by my own heart wisdom; God-communion, whatever you want to call it, I found that that is not so. And came to understand why. Does that make everything Linda had to share with us untrue? No. But alot of her other concepts didnt hold up so well either - for me. So, yes. Test, commune, test some more and tap into the Source of your own Inner Wisdom. quote:

I hear much about the immortality concept. I feel it is not our physical bodies that will do it, but the ability to remember our previous incarnations or at least the lessons learned. Perhaps we will eventually be able to be what I term, a "resulate". To be able to go back and forth between physical as desired. This would require only being physical while performing physically required tasks, such as building, farming, and pregnancy etcetera. The rest of the time one would not require food or task the environmental resources as much. I think it would also allow us to move very fast while in such a state.
