This has been a stange weekend for me, anyway I was driving home and as I approached a cat was sitting there right in the middle of the road. I know it must have came from the left side of the road.It then walked back to were it came from, on the left, but it didn't completly cross from the left side of the road to the right side. Am i cursed? I hope it doesn't have anything to do with work, i just started a new parttime job on the weekends and i've found out theres been so many death there... i work the nights there. I think that's just superstition about black cats. Same as walking under a ladder or Friday the 13th. In fact, Friday the 13th has always been a lucky day for me. Cat is a good animal totem. If a cat was sitting in the road waiting for you look up cat animal totem and see what the message is telling you. CAT Littlest lion, panther in miniature, Help me in a my magical endeavors, Teach me to see my path through dark places, Help me to sift the necessary from the unnecessary And to relax and enjoy life. Strengthened my magic and carry it to its destination. Mystery, Magic and Independence A cat totem encourages agility in both body and mind. You will be challenged with new ideas and places. The cat gives you clearer perception. This spirit helper is resourceful, strong and fearless. It will give you courage and confidence. Examine the colors, character and behaviors of your Cat. Everything about it will reflect in your own life. When a Cat becomes predominant in your life, magic and mystery come alive. Associated with the Norse Goddess of Fertility Freyja and the Hindu Goddess of Childbirth, Shasthi and of course, the Egyptian Goddess Bastet who takes the form of a cat.

I agree with what you and others said, Sattvic. I love black cats. They are beautiful. Especially the ones with the green eyes instead of yellow ones. They are little minature Panthers and the Panther has great spiritual significance in animal totem. So do cats in general. It's always lucky and spiritually significant to encounter a cat. Black cats especially. It is superstitions about black cats such as them being "witches" and bad omens or evil that cause so many people to abuse and kill black cats. If you own a black cat don't allow it outdoors around Halloween because many black cats are killed and physically abused moreso at this time of the year. The Humane Society even suggests this to black cat owners every year at this time. IP: Logged |

hippiechick! Still have the dogs as well? Borax Powder, Boric Powder, or baby powder can be swept throughout rooms in a home where many pets reside. Everything must come out of the room and be vacuumed or brushed off. Dispose of dust, dirt, whatever in a sealed bag out of the house. pay particular attention to cracks, crevices, corners,moulding...Sprinkle one of the powders on floor and sweep it into the above-also can be thicker where a carpet or piece of furnuture sit. Make sure to vacuum or brush furniture cushions and bases, under the cushions, the mattress in a pull-out, whatever, lightly powder these as well before replacing and get what the vacuum ate out of the house! Do the "candle in the bowl" trick whenever possible- Did you know there are little electric combs that supposedly zap fleas? My killer Kitten cannot be groomed without a fight or anethesia LOL! Also I think in the old days, people "limed" their yards. i think it kept the fleas and ticks down- Happy days! Tuxie IP: Logged |

the powders "dessicate" the fleas...their exoskeleton dries out and they "crack" supposedly and I guess doesn't poison stuff except breathing in the dust will harm things- Spray mosquitoes, houseflies or "scary" bugs like cockroaches with some hairspray or styling spray-they get held in place and become immobile as opposed to cides. silly tuxedo, the bug-gerIP: Logged |
