Recently I have become interested in chakras and auras, or, the interest have long been there, but I recently started learning more about it and trying to see auras The thing is that I'm a little confused about the layers and colors.. The aura consist of seven layers and each layer has a color. The first layer (etheric) is said to be light blue and this I was able to see clearly almost immediately. Some days later I started seeing yellow, filling all space around me. I read all descriptions I could find about characeristics of people with a yellow aura and it felt right to me, but then I started thinking.. All basic aura information tells you that the aura consists of seven layers, and each layer has a spesific color. The third layer, mental layer, is yellow. Am I seeing the mental layer or do I have a "yellow aura"? How does one know if someone has a personal aura color or if you're just seeing a layer? The yellow descriptions sound very right to me, and yesterday in the shower (I spend ages in the shower, love water, and I feel more relaxed and able to focus when sitting warm and comfortable in the shower) after seeing the normal thin blue layer around my hand and arm it became a wider yellow aura, that I could "drag" around the white walls of the shower I had earlier seen the blue layer but as I became more focused I saw only the yellow, even as close as the blue layer had been. Sooo, this was a lot of yammering to ask a simple question, heheh.. What am I seeing? How does one know the difference between layers and personal colors? Does it maybe feel different, like you "know" when it's a personal color? I'd like some opinions from someone who's "been around the block" a bit when it comes to this (and anyone else who has an opinion is also welcome!) Thanks IP: Logged |

I think that the chakras that are most predominant in a person are what you are reffering to as his/her personal colour, since we all have the seven chakras (their force which we see as colour) but we all focus on them to our own unique code. I think that's why people whose auras are "white light" or clearlike, have blended in balance all their chakrasIP: Logged |

That's interesting, Obe, about the balance of all seven and the white color. I've understood that the overall aura and the chakras are more interconnected than I first thought when looking into this (at first I thought it was two completely different things, duuuh ) and it absolutely makes sense in my case, since I've always felt very connected to my solar plexus area. Or, connected might be the wrong term, I've always had an "ache" there, and almost everything that happens to me is accompanied by intense sensations in that area. Or maybe that is just because the solar plexus is a major nerve area and everyone has sensations there?? I seriously don't know, since I only have me and myself as a reference... ------------------ Cancer Rising Gemini Sun Libra Moon Cancer Venus Gemini Mars IP: Logged |
