Nice quote, LTT.

Is it yours?

No, I saw it on a website and really liked it, but it didn't say who it was by. I just tried to find the website and found one, but I'm not sure this was the one I first saw it on as it looks different to the one I remember:

Things will be better soon, I am in the same boat you are although I didn't read your first post, but I am also going to be homeless soon.Things here in the USA are getting worse by the day.
Oh well, I am still smiling though, I am not going to let it bring me down.

I just want to thank everybody here for being so incredibly kind and helpful.

Bunnies, your offer to let me stay with you a while is so kind of you, especially as you only know me through the internet. Thank you so much. I think it might not be practical for me, as the boys are going to a school nearby that their paternal grandmother pays for (who I'm not talking to any more, lol). The father and I have shared parental responsibility, which makes things even more complicated.

My brother is going to fill in a form to be a guarantor for me. As long as his bank accept him as my guarantor, I will be able to get another house similar to this one and things will be ok.

I'm kind of upset that no-one else in my family is willing to help me as far as this goes (being a guarantor), but my brother has lent money to me in the past and I have never let him down. I guess it's in these situations you find out who the people are who are truly willing to stand by you.

I'll keep you guys updated once I find out more about what will be happening.

Once again, thank you for your kind words.

Your very welcome LTT.
I read your posts.
You sound the least likely axe murderer.

Someone was once very kind to me when I ended up homeless so I know what you are going through.
Stay strong and KNOW that it will pass. I know it's easy to say, but if you could have seen me 12 years ago with all my belongings in 3 bin bags and with two children and me just feeling for one brief moment I was teetering on the edge.
Well I didn't go over hun, not by a long shot and neither will you.
It is just a moment.
Hold that in mind xx

I was homeless as a teen and I know how painfully scary it can be. But I dearly hope it won't come to that for you.

I'm downstairs in London if you fancy a radical change!!!

All the best and all my love.....

Update:

I'm currently in the midst of perhaps the most painful time in my life....the loss of an anchor, the death of familiarity. I have had a break down and have therefore decided that the best thing for me right now is change; I'll be moving away from this area completely. A change might be for the best.

For some reason, human nature often compels us that we never realize what we had until it is really gone.

Maybe a change is for the best though?

I wonder if the day will ever come that I meet someone who is right for me?

I never knew things could be this hard.

I won't have regular internet access for a while, but I'm sure I'll still be around every now and then.

and Light to you all.
