Thanks. It's probably a little of both; the language barrier and our conjunction. Also, the fact that I'm just so brilliant. IP: Logged |

Valus,Just for the record, my recent post at LLC2 "On the Subject of Moving Threads" was NOT about you at all. I am sorry that you seemed to get attacked for no apparant reason in my thread. I was disappointed to find that when I returned to LL this morning, and also disappointed that the thread was suddenly closed as well. There are about 10 threads that were recently moved from LLC2 to other forums, and only 1 was yours. So just wanted you to know, I posted it on my perspective of seeing these ridiculous locks on folders down the list, nothing to do with you. Hope you and Yin have a great weekend. IP: Logged |

Seems like being rich or poor is a state of mind as well. Also, it's something you notice with greater clarity upon reflection.Hindsight and all that. I mean, obviously you notice if you are starving and have no shoes, but, sometimes we are so mired down with the business of daily life that being richER or poorER than x,y, or z time isn't that apparent. I was thinking about this the other day, when I was looking through a photo album. I was thinking that during the early 90's I was probably the most financially comfortable than I've ever been. House, two cars, etc. etc. But at the time, I didn't really notice or appreciate it. Until now when it's so hard to figure out how to get to work, you know? But then again, I know people who live on ramen noodles every day of their life.. have one set of clothes, etc.. and I've heard them express sympathy for others less fortunate. So, that's why I say it's a state of mind thing. Rambling of course.. IP: Logged |
