Ontology
Broadly, the Samkhya system classifies all objects as falling into one of the two categories: Purusha and Prakriti. Metaphysically, Samkhya maintains an intermingled duality between spirit/consciousness (Puruṣa) and matter (Prakrti).
A persons Karma, can be Tamas. So you need to work it out for yourself if it is.
I fall into this category, I eat meat for example.
And I naturally fall into the Negative/Negative category.
It is my opinion that I will always be marked from where I started, But I do not have to stay there, If I do not feel it is right, or If I need growth, Endeavour to move freely and happily.
