I was googling illuminati and eyes wide shut and I came across something saying that kubrick used this romanian priest's chant in reverse for the masked ball scene. It supposed to be a liturgy praising jesus's last command to love eachother as I have loved you. In reverse I could see it being the opposite in meaning or a sign of defiance/disrespect.

I know I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to a lot of occult symbology.

For starters I've seen the V used as a female fertility symbol, and I saw that at the hooker's house, not to mention the christmas trees everywhere. I wish I knew the pagan history behind tree worship and what it meant symbolically at christmas.. but I don't have the time tonight. I'd be particularly interested in what the lights on the trees represented.

I felt the video above did some interesting take on the rainbow symbolism. I know there are rainbow girls too as a precursor to the eastern stars (female equivalent to masons). If anyone can come up with more of what these mean from an occult/masonry perspective that'd be interesting.

I found it symbolic that there were hardly any windows featured in the movie with the exception of the scene where the wife spoke of her desire for the naval officer. I probably missed some, but a lot of scenes were devoid of any link to the outside.

I liked how it practically screamed mk-ultra is real in some places, with the drugs and creepy dissociative smile of the costume shop owner's daughter etc.

Another thing was there were a lot of the 8 pointed stars, particularly around Bill's friend who ran the initial party as well as in the mansion. There were 5 pointed stars too. I found a bunch of different meanings for the 8 pointed star here http://forum.davidicke.com/showthread.php?t=48152

Another symbol I saw was the double cross.
