Seems there's a lot of mention on the 'net about this Zozo thing and ouija boards... Sounds like a very unfriendly and deceptive thing. Honestly, I'd rather have a tea party with Loki than deal with this thing.

From what's said, this thing seems to show up as the spirit in some usages of the board, and he'll come off as friendly, or talkative, or whatever at first. Then he becomes a real ... monster apparently. Threats, dark shadow in the room, guess it all depends on his mood. I think some sources link it to Pazuzu, an ancient diety/demon(?)... and of course, that thing was mentioned in the movie The Exorcist (never saw it). I know little about that thing, except it sounds very unfriendly.

Again, would rather have a tea party with Loki. Or Set. ........scratch that. forget Set.

Ouji is a trick by the great deceiver itself, and you are???

Also i doubt you were waiting for a spirit, Spirits do not Ouji IMO! Demons, and those controlled by them do...

You really cannot dispose of a ouji in any way without making things worse...

There is NO reason for opening that space with that method. If you are pure of reason and thought, why would you even want to use one?
Especially think about the word PERMEATES; like black mold PERMEATED the walls and the structure was condemned.

...and I doubt that, while doing these portal openings, floodgates opening, with trash entities and worse attached to you and anyone else in the room now or in the future, I doubt, seriously, doubt, that you or most other players could ever change, stop, or even disperse what is harmful and negative that you willingly opened and that influences everything around you.
That is my opinion. i agree with others that if you are so fired up and want to, then do it. Report back.
I'd at least sage the place you'll be doing it in and your self. Realize there is no protection when you, with your own free will, willingly open yourself to Ouji.

Why does your dad have this crazy hyperspace device, if he is into the hyper-Christian thing? What is it's purpose? I'd think he'd perceive such things as evil. What is the draw for him? That seems concerning.

...I wonder if we all don't subconsciously know that it is difficult to dispose of these boards safely, thus many of us just stuff them in closets or in the attic. If you come across any reasonable way to dispose of them, I'm sure that would be of interest. So many of us tried to "have fun" with these in our younger years, only to quickly realize it was beyond us.

On the other hand, as you say--I don't want to give this concept too much power... In the end, darkness has as much power as you give it. It is very real, in one sense, and a mirage of lies in the other. ...I guess I can say that confidently in this situation, since it is clear you are someone who has his wits about him, and the strength and awareness to deal with such a thing.

Meanwhile, I agree that popular movies made about such forces is a concern for the average youth seeking a thrill.

That is the most direct, matter-of-factly presented experience of time travel I've ever read. Fascinating to consider. ...What do you make of it? If the guy has since gotten so paranoid it seems to me there was something to it, and he must have been tapping into something of significance.

So your Dad actually dealt with this Steven? (Thank god for people saving all these old listserv messages. Such good info to be found in them.) ...To my mind you should not be messing with such high technology...at least not without a similarly high level of spiritual awareness. When will people learn? At least the guy is still alive...apparently in this time line! Sounds like some of these current "travellers" are at least faring better than the Philadelphia Experiment guinea pigs. He sounds fairly aware of what he's getting into, in dealing with these realms.

...Again, what is your Dad hoping to achieve with this thing?? Is he really hoping to travel in time? Do you think it is possible with this thing? Is he aware of this account? Of what others have purportedly encountered using it?

I believe everything you said, but i think you are misguided. Burning the ouija board doesn”t solve anything. Nor a ”banishing ritual” or closing the ”portal”. Demons don”t leave under no ones command other than God”s. Those who made the mess need to solve it or else, it falls on 7 generations of their family;just like you said,”generational curse”.
I understand how hard is to get rid off the ouija and stuff like this. These objects have a sort of energy surrounding them, but not something we cannot handle. I had similar problems when i got rid of my magick tools. Go to that place and bring a priest or someone to exorcise it.

Believe it or not, Dad got this thing to help with healing (one of the usages for the device as described if I recall correctly). It didn't prevent him from developing diabetes though. (To be fair, he might've already had it by the time he got this thing).

As far as actual, physical time travel? Not sure... possibly under the right circumstances, yet I also feel the "original" timeline would be unaffected, and a new branch would simply be made, you'd just disappear from this one. That's one theory of time travel, anyways.

The one account I've read of someone using the device, and something powerfully negative coming through (I forget if it was in Canada or wherever it was), well it's a good warning as to how dangerous this sort of thing can be.
