Hi everyone, this is my experience when I started meditating two days ago. But first, I feel the need to tell you that 6 years ago, my grandfather died in the same house I'm living in right now. But I think that his body is still roaming around in the house. For eg. when he was alive, he would always open my bedroom door and peep into it while I studied. Till now, even after his death, the door in my bedroom opens exactly in the same way and closes after a few seconds, just like when he did when he was alive.
So, two days ago, I started meditating for the first time and I felt a pressure gain up on my third eye. When this happened I began hearing sliding footsteps in my room. First I thought it was my mom entering the room, but when I opened my eyes, there was no one. Again I meditated and within 10 seconds I heard the footsteps, and this time I felt maybe, that a shadow passed in front of me. I decided to image my room by my third eye, and when I did, I saw a bluish energy standing right in front of me.. I couldn't gather what it was!! So I stopped my meditation and exited the room!!!
What's happening??

You are connecting with "something" perhaps your grandpa, but only you will know.

Just be careful and mind your p's and q's...

In "altered states" they get in very easy...the good and the bad.

The reason children are more open, they come with innocence, as you become in a meditative state.

Before you meditate protect yourself...white light, however you feel you need to do, but please protect yourself!

good luck!

You might want to clear your meditative space as well, sage or something and out loud state, with full WILL, that you accept only benevolant energies.

Protect my self? Can u tell me the ways to do so?? I don't know much about meditation or entities.. it's the first time ever that I meditated!!!
I think i'll also have to mention what happened later on. I thought I was seeing my aura maybe, but I don't know! I felt a blue colored mist engulfing me fully and then it turned to violet... does that make sense??

Protect yourself in whatever way you feel..

Research it.

I cover myself, mentally with white light, a shield and mirrors to deflect (any dark energies)

Make yourself known, what your intentions are, what you will accept and what you wont.

And purging any baddies that may come your way is paramount!

You are sensitive...you can draw the line, it is your say who or what comes into your energy space.

I would seriously clear your space, again, sage, prayers, or if you are religious any thing that represents your religion.

Dont take youself and dont open yourself unless you are protected...a prayer at the very least...

Use your imagination, it WILL come to you...

blessins!

AND no fear.

My nearly 21 year old still at home is so afraid of "spooks..."

I laugh at them, and my house is not void of spooks.

They dont mess with me..cause I am not afraid, but they mess with her, cause they know she is penetrable, approchable....

Well I admit I was a little afraid when I first heard the footsteps, but I'm rather curious now,i want to know if it is my grandpa or no...
About the protection, well, in the room where I meditate, my mom has placed various devices, like a bronze pyramid and some crystals... I don't know what they do, but my mom says that they are for spreading good vibrations in the house. She herself meditates in there, but she never encountered this. Probably because my grandpa loved me the most in the family. I have a nagging feeling the thing that I'm seeing isn't dangerous... but since you are experienced in these matters I'll do what you told and see.. thanx

Speak out loud to it.
Tell him/it that it is OK for him to go now.
Often a spirit of a relative will leave when told it is OK to go.
Is anyone still grieving for him?
That can cause a spirit to be held here or stuck.
Folks must let them go.

Then yes;
he may be stuck held by the grieving.
Once you tell him it is
OK to move on, and that you love him and will be fine;
he can hopefully move on.
Once he moves on, you can grieve if you need to,
as he will not be drawn back by your grief then.
He will be occupied with what is best for his soul.
