Oh my goodness, I haven't ben to this thread in so long!
It is wonderful to hear that she is doing so well- I hope you are doing well too, Solane! I can only imagine how painful your dental ordeal (I really can't think of any dental work as anything but an ordeal =/) must have been. I hope that you too are well on the way to recovery!

Hugs,
Alchemiest

Thanks alchemiest,

It was a ordeal and took awhile for my back right bottom jaw to heal, do to it being so infected from two of my molers. Things are going alot better now with my mouth. The weirdest thing was going on with my mouth and plate right away, my jaw would drop down really fast and back up again. First few times when I was sleeping and then when I was a awake also. Boy What a way to be woken-up from a deep sleep. It happened once in my car as I was driving and i dropped my smoke right out of my hand and had to pull over to get it. Scared the hell out of me!!!

So now I get to look forward to the end of Sept. And they will take the top teeth all out. Boy Oh, boy!!! Can hardly wait!!! LOL Not Really.

Going to have my bones in my body checked out also because I don't have but half of my jaw bone and had to get new teeth, I'm afraid that my bones in my body may not be so good also. I have problems also with my legs. When I work a 8hr shift at work my feet and ankles swell really bad. I already have some arthritis in my hands and all my bones crack all the time. Not Good!

I have to wait until Aug.29 for my appointment with my Doctor and let her tell me what may be going on in there.

Most days are good though and having a great summer so far with my family, cats and dogs.

Thanks again for asking!!!

Loads and loads of healing light your way, dear Solane!
Are you having problems related to bone density due to osteoperosis or some other similar reason? If so, I highly advocate coral calcium- it's very easily absorbed by the body, and is supposed to help improve bone density and strength a lot.

Love and light,
Alchemiest

I so needed something to take as a calcium replacement. Thanks so much!!! I will bring this up with my new natural path Doctor when I meet her. I was on a really good one for about a year and the states pulled it from the sh-elfs here in Canada. It was pulled because it had boron in it and it worked. I so hope that it's still able to do some repair. Hopeful!!! I'm alittle scared.

Thanks for the handy life health tips, I didn't know about coral calcium!!!

Showna and my other dog Ginger went to the vets today for their shots and check-ups and they both had a clean bill of health. Showna looking really good, but such a tiny girl. Bruce the goose, is our other dog and his bill of health is also nice and clean. I have to take Showna to be fixed next month.

Did you know that they banned Pitt Bulls in Canada, Ontario? No shipping or breeding of these breeds anymore, but remaining owners and shelters can still adopt out the last of them to good homes that already have a pitt and know how to care for them. My other two are pitts and i so love them. We really take lots of care when it comes to they care. I would hate to see any harm come to them. Ginger has one of the most beautiful spirits in the whole world.!!! She's built, strong like Bull!!! LOL She loves to lick kittens, carpet, people and goats cheese!!! She just wants to lick you with so much love!!! Thats my other girl. By the way Ginger is a Cancer.

Have been really sad and grieving those last few weeks as i had to put my dog Showna to sleep. I thought she was doing fine and it just took sometime for me too get out of this denial that I was in about her having any mental conditions, due to the accident with the bus and all. Well she fall into a great depression and was so afraid of everything and everyone around her. She was getting irritated and lashing out us and my other two dogs. She attacked and bite my pit Ginger and Ginger just took it and only let out a big moan after she bite her in the snout. Poor Ginger she has been attacked by 3 other dogs also and is never doing anything but just being her sweet old s-elf.

Showna was really lashing out at my son and tried to bite him also. Made contact a few times, but don't break the skin.

Then i was playing with her one night, like the way we always played and she let out areal long mean grawl and tried to bite me, but I told her to just go to her bed then if she wented to be that way. Scared me and thats when I went into some what of a bigger denial and didn't really want to look at what may be going on deep inside her head. Oh poor thing she had so much anxiety, she was scare to death to go outside and was always running back for the porch to the door. Started to have major issues with being left alone, so started leaving her with my other dog bruce, but that didn't work either, because she then proceeded to tear the house apart. I mean eating doorways, the doors, frames, stairs and door handles. She cried all the time and was really sad and we don't know what to do for her. This is still a really short list of some of her conditions and pain that she was going though. My husband tried to tell me a few times, but I loved her so much and I didn't want to see the facts. She was suffering inside and I know in my heart that thats the only reason way she was lashing out at others. God I"m balling so much as I write this I can hardly see the screen. When I did realize all of this hit me really hard and i tried to get her help. Everyone including the vet told me that this can happen sometimes, after being hit to the side body and her head. I just couldn"t see her live this way any longer. The weird thing about this is when she was put to sleep it was two days after her Birthday. She would of been 2 years old. So really miss her, the beautiful dog that she was before her accident.

Will i just had to go and do it again. Will i went to my sister's house and next store there was this little black puppy on a long chain in the front yard. Will you know I had to run over there and check this out for mys-elf and give him some loving and petting. As I'm doing this my sister is yelling to me saying that he needs a home and that the people that found him are going to take him to the pound the very next morning if no one claims him as theirs. He had been there for 1 week and you know I just had to come back and take that little puppy home for some loving and kisses. I named him Duke and he is the brightest little guy that I have ever met. I know this doesn't say much for the two other guys in the house, referring to my son and husband. LOL!!! He looks mostly Lab and has alittle white patch on his chest and white tipped toes. I would say he's about 3 1/2 mouths old. He is human, I swear. I'm in love already.

Just thought that I would let everyone know because, you guys where so supportive and concerned about her when she got hurt. I really thought she could make it though, I guess I just want to believe that all animals will always be O.K!!!

Thanks again for being there for me and Showna!!!
