My dog Showna was hit by my sons school bus at 300pm this afternoon and had to rush her to the vet. There could be some internal bleeding from her spleen. This is the most crucial time for her in the next few hours. Please send some prayers. Thanks

Thanks guys,
I'm so dam freaking sad and the waiting thing is one of the harder things for me to do. I so have little strenght when it comes to any animal hurting or in pain. She's my Libra Dog, and she came to me as a gift of love and balance for my life. The Dog that I had just before her was ran over by a big old van that was sitting in the lane of our driveway. He was laying behind the front tire of the van and the driver started to back up and ran right over my 4 month old puppy. It was not good when I get to the vet, so they had to put him down right away.

I have had Showna now for 1 1/2 years, She's still my baby girl.

Sorry for going on and on, but I just need to let some of this energy out because I'm so sad. The vet said that he would call in around 9:00pm tonight to let me know how she is doing and again in the morning. One hour and half so seems like forever.

Will the vet just called and said that Showna was looking alitte better hour by hour and that this is usually a good sign. She is trying to also get up abit and walk alittle. Also another good sign!!! She's such a tiny Belgian Shepherd, so fragile. Will I guess that's all for tonight. I will have to wait until tomorrow morning.

Will if you were thinking something is missing, thats because I have been coping my posts from FFA onto this thread.

Aw God. Solane Star, my thoughts and hopes are with you and your pup. We lost our beautiful boy the same way, except it was an RTD bus. He was only 8 months old and, the joy of our life. Everyone at our house that day was shocked and cried like he was theirs. Thank goodness your Love is doing better. My heart goes out to you both.

Didn't sleep so well last night and the only way I could fall asleep was to place her in my arms and hug her tight in my head. Will I have to take my husband to work this morning and then wait to 8:15am and call the vet to see how shes doing. Thanks so very much for your love and support guys. Lots of love and light!!!

Thank-you guys and Sue g for the gifts of light and healing power. Called the vet and he said that see looks and acts alot better this morning when he came in. He said he got her up for a walk outside for a few minutes and will know alittle better later in the day if she is ready to come home. He would be sending her home with some pain pills for the week, of course and he said that he's still really concerned about her lungs and breathing though, because she is panting alot and yesterday when she was hit by bus she was bringing up a lot of bleed from her mouth. I have a dog thats very sensitive when put in car, thunder and lightning storms, and if she has to go out. She even gets car sick and throws up. So it's alittle hard to tell if its from the stress or the accident, or both. Alot of stuff for her to handle without me there to see her through, but she seems to be doing much better, good sign again.
Sue g thanks so very much dear for your healing energy of reiki, I know that it really does help heal and she so needs this right now. Love you Sue g!!!

You guys are such a wonderful help and a great group of loving souls!!!

Solane Star- Lots and lots and lots of healing light coming your dog's way. My heart goes out to you- I can only imagine how you (and she) must be feeling right now. It's wonderful to know that she seems to be getting better!!
Has your vet taken x-rays? What did they show? If there are particular serious injuries, I can send distance reiki to her for those as well as a general healing, which I am sending right now.

Hi guys,
Sorry I took so long to get back to you but Showna has been home now for 5hrs and she would not eat at the vets. The vet thought that she would do alot better at home and maybe eat something. She would not drink, eat, pee, or poo sense her accident. Well when the husband got home he take her out for a little walk around the front of the house and it take her along time but she had a poo. Everything looking good in that department and about hour later, we took a syringe and helped her to drink some water and some blended up dog food. Then about a half hour later see went out for her first pee and everything looking good in that department also. Her breathing is still very deep and throaty and still panting and drooling alot though. I will be home with her all day tomorrow and going to just love my baby up alot.

Thanks again guys and please keep sending her love and healing light, she getting better!!!

Alchemiest thank-you so very much for offering to do this for Showna. She had 3 x-rays and it showed some big black spots in her spleen and her breathing from her lungs is heavy. She groans alot while sleeping and when shes awake, it must be so painful for her. She had her pain pill this morning and I can't give her another til the morning, because she's hardly eating. I'm so surpised that she didn't brake any bones, so glad.

Hi Solane Star- sorry I wasn't able to post yesterday, but I just wanted to let you know that I sent her a healing for her spleen and lungs as well. Her spleen especially seemed to be absorbing a lot of energy.

Good to know she is doing better!!!

Today she was feeling so much more her true s-elf!!!

Thanks again alchemiest!!! I know this healing energy has really helped her because she is getting well so fast. I'm so glad that I don't have to lose another one of my babies so soon in life.

It seems as if this has brought as even closer, if that is possible, because we were already so close.

Boy, do I love her so very much.

Thanks Nephthys for being there for my baby girl!!! You guys are wonderful!!!!

She's getting better every day now!!!

It's like she wasn't even hit by bus, she's so hers-elf and a little more loving with us then before.

I had my bottom teeth all pulled out and a partial plate put in this week and Showna didn't leave my side the whole time. I think she thought that I got hit by school bus also!!!

She's such a sweetheart!!!

Oh I tell you she show's me how strong she really is every day!!! Today she wanted to get downstairs with my husband and will not do the stairs, because when she was a little puppy she almost fall through one of the top stairs. Luckily I was there with my son and I was grabbing on to her by the back of her neck and my son came running, just in time to grab her before she fell through.

Today she wanted to get to him so bad that she final did the stairs, for the first time in 1 1/2 years after that time. She has so much strengh and courage sometimes!!!

She has made a full recovery!!!

She only gets out on leash now and has a dog run to play in with the other two dogs.

Thanks for your replies and updates on my baby girl Showna.

She will be going to the vets in two weeks to get her shots and the vet will let me know just how great she has been doing!!!
