Why do dogs bite me??? I have been bitten several times. Many as a child when I tried to make them come home with me. I am kinda terrified of them now....................

Hi Bluemoon ~ I don't quite get your other Bite me thread, was that supposed to be a burrito?

Anyhow, perhaps it's past life karma that they bit you.........perhaps they sense your fear.........?

I am an AVID animal lover and I was bit by a dog twice in my life. One was the neighbor's dog and I had to go to the hospital. One was my own dog, and I totally understand why he did it. I still love dogs and I don't have a fear of them.
Perhaps it is a learning experience in some way; I know mine were.

I have to consiously concentrate on not being afraid of them. It is difficult when you see the dog attack things on TV. I am not soooooooooo parinoid of them as I use to be. I dont want my daughter to be scared. I have been bitten in my calf by 2 different Rotwielers, in the past 2 years. Not bad bites, but bad enough. I hate to see those teeth coming at me.

I dont know what that is, It looks like a burrito to me also. Please help yourself to a bite.

Thanks for the advice. I get along with some dogs. I really have to make myself be calm when I am around them. I dont want my daughter to develope a fear of them. It is mostly Rotwhielers that have bitten me. The last one had pups and the owner did not know she was out. Soooooooooooooooooooooo

I really dont blame dogs for acting like dogs.

THanks again!!
