Riding a Whale Shark I listen in the morning when I wake and heard George's remark about sharks and diving. Think of it like this; a hungry shark will eat you, just like a hungry human will eat a shark. I have 5000+ dives and most of them were with sharks, all kinds. The real bottom line is we have removed the food source, just like a human, if you remove their food source they will find alternates. I don't know what we ("When I say we, I mean we the people of earth") will do because we are not replacing the shark's food source and we don't have control of other countries fisheries and more people keep getting in the water, there will be more shark attacks. The photo I have sent is of me at Molokini Crater, off the south coast of Maui, with about a 35+ foot Whaleshark. Me and a friend went out on my little 16 foot Fiberform to take his annual Christmas photo that he sends to family and friends. Well needless to say, we both got great Christmas Cards to send that year. I though the listeners would be interested in seeing what we all are capable of. Love and Aloha, Greg M.

You are a guy named Greg? Is the picture of you? That is simply awesome and scrumptious to swim with a whale shark! Molokini is Heaven. It is so awesome. I snorkeled there. I dove off of Makena coastline and there was a white-tip in a cave. About 4 ft. long, didn't bother us and we didn't bother him/her. Swam with many turtles at Makena and Molokini. IP: Logged |

Hi Solane ~ Well if I were to sign my name, Jovette, most people would assume that is me, which is correct. Sorry, I can't keep track of who is who is around here. ~Jovette IP: Logged |
