No Nephthys, You are not outdated in my opinion. You have just been able to stay true to yours-Elf. And not be brainwashed by the media, or sucked into lower energy stuff. One of the main reasons I dont own a television. I like my own vision too much and see how easily other people's get distorted from the garbage projected on those screens.I guess I'd be a dinosaur too. But ask yourself: in whose eyes? Yours are the only one's that matter! Some have labeled me ahead of my time, others say waaaay behind. How easily we forget that there is no such thing as Time anyway. I no longer have any true friends - well, one. Lot's of aquaintences, but I find I like hanging out with myself better because my old friends and I just arent on the same paths anymore. Which is okay. I just dont like spending my time going out to bars looking for my next 'fix'. If that's outdated, so be it. I'm happy to be 'outdated' then. In the words of Bob Dylan, you can call me a "walking antique". IP: Logged |

Hey 26T! ~ Thanks for hopping on over from the weather channel! LOL Thanks for your support! Sometimes I want to say I'll go without TV for awhile, but then I feel like I'm missing something. I love educational programming, and I love the Animal Planet, Home & Garden Channel, and Food Channel. No offense to anyone but I hate most sitcoms. I think they are so dumb. I don't go to bars anymore either. I did that in my 20's when I was an Aries. But now I am a Taurus and prefer not to drink/be around that scene at all. Yes, I've had a sign-change! LOL (You see, when you are in your 'teens and twenties, you reflect the qualities of your Rising sign, and when you are in your 30's+. you reflect the qualities of your Sun sign.) I know what you mean about friends. The few friends I have don't have time for me. Also, when I call people or e-mail them, *IF* they reply, it's always *several days to weeks* later. Also I feel like I am the one who always has to call and make the effort. What I don't get is everywhere I go people are always chatting on their cell phones, but yet they can't return phone calls? I'll be your friend! Bob Dylan also said Come gather 'round people Wherever you roam And admit that the waters Around you have grown And accept it that soon You'll be drenched to the bone. If your time to you Is worth savin' Then you better start swimmin' Or you'll sink like a stone For the times they are a-changin' IP: Logged |

Yeah, sometimes I wish I had a TV to veg in front of, but I guess I dont want one bad enough. There is some good programming that goes on, I know. Maybe someday I'll get one again. That's interesting what you say about being your rising and sun sign at different points in life. Ive heard that before. Yes, I was definitely a Capricornian typa kid. My mom used to say, 'you were so young, but so.....old.' haha. Very serious child. Not so much anymore. It's interesting to note your progressed Sun and Rising sign as well. Thanks for posting that song, friend! IP: Logged | |
