Harpyr~ First, may I say... your taste is impeccable... Horses seem to already own the love of your heart. Gypsy and ShyAnne are my memories of being, from age 7 untill 18... they are cherished and, my truest gift and blessing, in that time. They remain most precious a treasure, to my life. The bond is strong.... Yup! Gotta Love the Horse! You and I share the eye for the Fresian... reminds me of my own, personal 'Knight' image... and, just the Horse! I have a strong affinity towards the Mini's these days...? I have run accross a few in the classified's but, they seem few and far between... probably a good thing, at the moment but, never left alone... even as Hubby may be momentarily believing so .....~ geminstone IP: Logged |

Impeccable?.. aww shucks.. thanks! Yeahh.. I think my eye for the fresian could have something to do with the image of the knight.. I hadn't thought of that before but it makes sense.. I'm a sucker for all things medieval.. You are so lucky living in Colorado.. it's horse country! I just returned from living in Nederland for a couple years and am kicking myself for not having gotten out to do any riding while I was there. It's alot trickier to keep horses in Alaska.. the expense of heating a barn makes it something that is out of reach for people without alot of extra money. I did just see a mini at the park the other day.. It was really intersting cause it was maybe only 3 inches taller or so than my Great Dane.. LOL.. It's like I've already got a horse living in the house with me! IP: Logged |

Love the pictures posted here! Friesans are are a noble and distinctive breed. Their movement and carriage remind me somewhat of the Tennesee Walkers: even and fluid gaits with a high action and solid footing, perfect for a rider who seeks a mount with a supportive, strong carriage and an awe inspiring presence PS~ to Harpyr and Gemistone: Both of your instincts ring true; ALL horses are beautiful. Keep the Faith, silvermoon

Mmmm, yes... I've spent enough time in the dirty back alleys of the Internet to have discovered long ago the real reason you women love horses. You dispense with the saddle as soon as no one's looking, don't you! Wretched succubi! Away with your bestial obssessions!!!IP: Logged |

Thank you, geminstone, for your kind compliment. It's an older picture, and is a little sun faded, but it's one of my favorites as it shows all four of his hooves completely off the ground. He literally does fly!I was going to post a picture of one of my other "studs" but I didn't want certain people to get too overly excited IP: Logged |
