RP, we must remember the other person has a right to accept or reject our peace offer to talk. If they do not accept, it is a reflection of their values and what they are harboring. Please do not feel poorly because it doesn`t fit a happy scenerio. Instead ,look to yourself for value and your kind ability to offer a hand in friendship. To accept any rejection in a manner of understanding & forgiveness is something we grow into as a practicing Christian. Can you accept your positive intentions and make peace with them and let the op go in peace too ?  ------------------

The other thing I want to add is that you MUST have a few cheerleaders/ mentors who only want your good with no hidden agendas. As you ego breaks down( and that is what happens) you need these people to see your value.
This kind of maturity cannot be done without that imho and ime.------------------

I 100% know what you mean. I HATE PLATITUDES. I could punch people in the face when they give me platitudes. It is the sign of a person with no wisdom  ------------------

What you are dealing with RP is very low self esteem. I have had such low self esteem that I felt I did not deserve to exist. It is, usually, from bad abuse, often sexual  ------------------
