An erudite, intelligent young man with full knowledge of Western Culture has no problems in understanding the Quran.

The Radical "Islamists" do not base their ideology on the Quran. They base it on "selective" hearsay documented nearly 300 years after the end of the first Islamic Caliphate.

There is a sanitized version for Americans sold in our bookstores but the original version tells the radicals to do JUST what they are doing.

The Moderates don't follow it.

They will kill the infidel( Jew, Christian, MODERATE Muslim) if that person does not convert and is as strict as they are i.e the 9-1-1 killers.
