I want to know what alot of people out their think of satanism, I know what it is, it's not really worshiping the devil, though I believe some sects of satanism do, do this. What are people's thoughts on it?

Well I read Lefay's "Satanic Bible" and found it rather..mundane tbh.

However it did have a profound effect on a buddy of mine and tbh..he got really weird afterwards

Honestly, I don't get it.

I've had some friends who got into it, but they always ended up going into (perhaps unsurprisingly) dark/odd places (even those who revelled in absurdity* rather than worshipped "Satan" per se).

* I say "revel in absurdity" intentionally, as they treated it almost like a Dadaist trip.
