Plenty of steam has been blown off for many years (actually moreso in the past) withouth SPITR.

Do you think your topic might fit in one of the other 40 forums? Somewhere at least?

As to if you were looking to reply to an old topic....I"m sure if SPITR does not come back, they will get sorted out elsewhere.

If youve been here long enough, you know that no threads get deleted. So, I would not worry about threads disappearing altogether. You will see them again.

ATM..furiousness, as in literally..scary anger and if one did not know me..they be best off to keep away.

However, what I loved about Sweatpeas was the freedom, post what one will, let it roll, maybe dummy topic, perhaps a serious topic, that sort of freedom...is what drew me here.

INOW..loved the silliness of it all, life is far far to grim so to dip into Sweatpeas was a sort of..fun..diversion.

That's really what LLC2 and Hearth and Home are there for though!

I think because SPITR was so active, people went there for things that should have been placed in other forums.

The fun forum used to be LLC2.

I didnt think the fun forum was supposed to be SPITR. If anything that was the.....not so fun forum.

Uhm, that is what it became, and imo it was wise to have such online cantina amongst outcasts of the day to day world.

That might have been what it became, but it's not what it was there for.

I know it's not as fun or worthwhile to post in other forums, because most of them don't get much traffic, but I think that's part of the problem. There are like three forums that get most of the traffic, so most people post in them, naturally. Because they want responses.

I tend to not get so poetic or dramatic about "what sweet peas was". Because I was here long before you and remember what LL was long before you were here. Way before Sweet Peas was here too. (not to mention it's only been gone a few hours LOL )

So don't look for sympathy from me there.

And before, there was a lot more depth from people here. You might have liked it better too. And a lot more people where werent afraid of discussing the things you are speaking of.

Listening to what you are upset about, I'd say you could and should post the same gripe in Health and Healing.

The Sweet Pea fans will notice it's gone, momentarily and explore other forums. I'm sure you can get the same kind of help that you would have in other forums.

The complaining is going to be annoying. So, for that reason alone, maybe Randall will bring the forum back. The drama from people who loved that forum is sure to get intense.

One forum is gone. There are plenty more. Plenty more to go to and get the same kind of help, from the same people.

No worries. I'm sorry to hear you are feeling that way. I was tempted to tell the forum about something that happened to me tonight (earlier when I was posting to Lexx). It still has me a bit rattled and not in a good way.

But besides that, things are going well for me in general.
