Can somebody help me please. I don't know what my name number is. Also I don't know whether to includ the middle name. No one ever calls me by my middle name and I never write it down unless I'm ordered to.

First name = 16/7
Middle name = 16/7
Last name = 22/4

I don't know whether to reduce my last name (22) or not, because I read it is a master number.

I'm not sure if I,

1. add all double digit numbers together : 16 + 16 + 22 = 54/9.....

Or 2 : 7 + 7 + 22 = 36/9

Or 3 : 7 + 7 + 4 = 18/9.

Or if I just ignore the middle name and add first name (16/7) to last name (22/4) which equals = 38/11.

I'd really appreciate any help. I just ordered a book from Nicolas Ngan who does hebrew glyps/phonetics and he says to use the full birth name. I'm confused.

None of those are correct. Forget the middle name. You keep the 22. You are a 29. Providing you used the Chaldean chart below:

A - 1
B - 2
C - 3
D - 4
E - 5
F - 8
G - 3
H - 5
I - 1
J - 1
K - 2
L - 3
M - 4
N - 5
O - 7
P - 8
Q - 1
R - 2
S - 3
T - 4
U - 6
V - 6
W - 6
X - 5
Y - 1
Z - 7

Thank you, Randall. That helps me a lot. Yes, I used the Chaldean system. So I use the 22 family name and the reduced first name (7) to reach 29. That makes sense.

Although it doesn't fill me with much hope after reading what 29 stands for. It says I must watch out for deception from others. Am I correct in assuming that the 29 number is the secret, esoteric meaning and the 11 would be what I appear to others?

Is this name number compatible or in harmony with my birth date?

My life path is 7 (April + 12 + 1989) and my birth day number is 12/3. The life path number 7 traits seem to describe me more than the number 3 birth day traits. I don't know why, though.

I was very close to changing my legal name officially, but at the last minute I thought there isn't much point. Maybe if I was younger I would go through with it, but if these are the challenges or hardships I'm born with then I'll just have to face them and get it over with. I appreciate your help.

Since you are a 12, education can help you overcome them. It's never too late to go to college.

Randall, there's something I wanted to ask you. I'd appreciate any reply. It's confusing me.

In name numerology why is it that two names pronounced the exact same way but spelled differently can have such opposite meanings? I'm still trying to understand Chaldean numerology but this is bothering me.

If you look at the name MARK SMITH, this has a total value of 26, which is an unfortunate number and full of grave warnings. But if another person is called MARC SMITH, it has a value of 27 which then becomes a fortunate number and promises power. If Chaldean numerology is all about the sound that gets projected into the ether... why can two names pronounced the same way have completely different meanings? Can changing one letter in your name really change the vibration?

It's not about the sound. It's the vibration. It can be multiplied via thoughts (what people think when seeing your name in their mind) or it being in written form over and over. With an odd name like Marc, one would want to get that name into the ethers as much as possible--maybe with business cards and social media. When introducing yourself to others, you would say, "Marc--with a "C." They would likely recall that.

Okay, I understand that. What about with a more common name like Sean. You can spell it quite a few different ways, mostly as Sean (14) or Shawn (20). They're both pronounced the same way but have different number values, and not everyone can assume the correct way to spell it. Are you saying that it's also important the way you write your name? For eg. on documents and letters?

In cases like that, it's important to get the spelling out in writing as much as possible.

Okay, that makes sense. I didn't know that how the name is written is also significant. Do you know any good books about Chaldean numerology? When I was thinking of changing my name part of the reason I didn't follow through with it was because I didn't know how to find out what numbers would be compatible with my life path (7) and day number (12) . Most of the experts charge $300-400, and I'm not willing to pay that. I'd be willing to study as much as I can though.

I'm reading "Star Signs" right now. It is the book many of the Forums are based on, and it has the Chaldean Numbers in it.

Linda Goodman, you know.

There are several good books that are cheap. No need to pay hundreds to someone.

@Randall and Ayelet I found it interesting that you guys were speaking about coming back and such just yesterday I was recommending this book to someone here and resonates with what you guys are talking about. Reincarnation and such. I hope my next life is AWESOME and full of excitement, in this life I am a healer (health care worker) I want to be more creative and known in the next life just because I think it would be fun. And it would be so cool to end up here once again with you guys. Which brings me to to point out a topic that the book below talks about, it says we chose our life :/ just like astrologers say we chose our charts (mine is not so good btw I have been blown away by some ppls perfect charts yes I said perfect with minimal difficulties). Anyway I hope you guys read the book.

There are some more modern works on Chaldean, but I've not personally read them. One came highly-recommended here, but I don't recall the name of it.

Thank you. I've just ordered those two books. I'm also going to order Leeya Brooke Thompson's book "The wisdom of sound & number".

How do you work out a name like this?

First name = 19
Last name = 18

Is the compound number 37, or 10?

Randall I wanted to say that I went with a 23 in a business name even though it didn't pair well with my name but I have been experiencing success and help from superiors Maybe it has to do with my first name when said in a short way eliminates a couple letters and turns to a 23 as well usually ppl call me by that short name since they can't pronounce my full name :P This truly does work because I have never EVER been this popular That is all. And again Thank you!
