Anne of Green Gables. Love it!Me circa 1980. Check out my librarian badge. I thought I was the dog's 'nads I did. I look sort of manic - perhaps they put amphetamine in the school milk? I was a very very very happy child back then. *aaah* Cool thread 26T! IP: Logged |

Such a cutie, T. I always had a cow lick too. Could it be a sign of some higher force at work? IP: Logged |

Hmm....perhaps! quote:
Utilizing Art and Mathematic Principles in Facial Framing and Hair Restoration Design. By Joseph F. Greco, PhD, PA/C There are countless other golden ratios in the face and head (as illustrated below) that can be appreciated, but for our purpose, the eyes, are central point of focus in the face based on PHI.
The innate brilliance of the Fibonacci spiral (Below) can be appreciated when compared to the Nautilus (Below). The spiral is ubiquitous in nature and can be appreciated in everything from beehives to sunflowers (Below). Fibonacci Spiral Nautilus Coneflower Because of the perfect balance, proportion and beauty in the spiral design, we also apply this principle when designing posterior crown restorations. When designing a posterior crown restoration the Fibonacci spiral pattern is utilized in the direction of the patient’s hair growth pattern. The spiral can be either a clockwise spiral or a counterclockwise spiral and, in some instances, a spiral in opposite directions for those rare cases of a double cowlick. I love that picture with you and your grampa Desert sky Dream beneath the desert sky The rivers run but soon run dry We need new dreams tonight Desert rose Dreamed I saw a desert rose Dress torn in ribbons and in bows Like a siren she calls to me Sleep comes like a drug In God's Country Sad eyes, crooked crosses In God's Country Yeah...yeah... Set me alight We'll punch a hole right through the night Everyday the dreamers die See what's on the other side She is liberty And she comes to rescue me Hope, faith, her vanity The greatest gift is gold Sleep comes like a drug In God's Country Sad eyes, crooked crosses In God's Country Yeah... Naked flame She stands with a naked flame I stand with the sons of Cain Burned by the fire of love Burned by the fire of love ------------------ The truth is ... everything counts. Everything. This is a lovely thread, a wonderful idea 26Taurus!, very moving.. and very nice all the pixs everyone posted. I think that if we didn't have to "tame" our Inner Child as we grow this world would be completely different. *EDITED* We should definetly take care our Inner Child, heal it if necesary and give it space to fully bloom in our lives. Was on a gymnastics team for a few years. And even as a tot, if there was an open space, i was cartwheeling or doing backwalkovers, handstands in it. Often in the living room until my mother yelled at me to go outside. IP: Logged |
