Great News!

I'm going to work 'The Dayton International Airshow' from tuesday to saturday next week!

I get to watch the show for free, be outside, and talk to all the tourists! Can't get much better for a Sag!

Hopefully, I will have lots of blurry pics to share afterwards. Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, The STEALTH, that thing is awesome in person! (they won't let ya in that one though, top secret stuff in there.)

Without your expertise I did actually find out that there is a FIREWORKS setting on my (not even mine) camera, so I took 8 zillion pics of fireworks over the weekend, for what, I have no idea!

While I'm not really 'into' planes and things like that, when you live in a place that is so heavily influenced, it kinda rubs off, I guess in some way.
At the very least, it's something to do, and honest work, so I will take it.

Getting nervous though, they were supposed to call me today, and have not yet.
I refuse to get anxious, they simply have not got around to it yet, and they will call, even if its last minute next week!

I have a celebrity list of signs I'm curious about. I know I could look it up myself, but its more fun asking you guys, and besides some of them you probably already know by heart.
I want to see if my theory of being drawn to the same certain signs holds true in the performing world as well as in person.

The airshow is set to start this coming Tuesday thru Saturday. I haven't heard yet, but this isn't that uncommon. Sometimes a catering company will hire a huge group, and then half will actually show, and then they call you all frazzled that morning, asking if you own black pants and a white shirt and can you be there in 20 minutes, I am all to familiar with that.
I own black pants and a white shirt in every fabric, so whatever season it is, I know I'm covered.
I plan to shower monday nite, and go to sleep early. That way, should they call on tuesday morning, all I have to do is put my hair up, brush my teeth and a little makeup.
If they don't call, oh well, I know I called the number, gave them great references, and know how to do the job. So what more can ya do?

Anyway. I'm okay, Just found out a couple days ago that my daughter is pregnant, so I am reeling a bit from the shock and of course, worried and concerned for her.

D4D, you would get on well with my step-dad he is really interested in war and its historical implications.

His fascination lies with the civil war, I mean he absorbs books on the topic, and it is great because I always know what to get him when gift buying. Either civil war books, or civil war DVD's.
I say he has a past life then, but he does not believe in such matters, so he changes the subject, lol! Anyway, to each his own, makes the world go round, yes?

AG I am going to ATTEMPT to post a pic here from my cell phone of me and my daughter so you can (please) tell me how I don't look like a soon-to-be grandma, feel free to lie your butt off, but do it AG style, so that I can at least attempt to believe it!!!!
