Also, a sh#t storm happened because I accepted some friend requests from the patrons at the last 3 bars I worked at, over a period of ten years. I thought nothing of it, as these were people I knew and waited on day in and day out.
Then some of the married guys were sending me "gifts" and writing on my wall. A few IM-ed me, and I got the backlash from the wives. I just don't need that crap right now.
So, I stay on myspace, do you have one? I enjoy the freedom of expression there, you can be who you are say what you feel, without having to feel pressured to measure up to the lives of these people that were never even interested in you to begin with.

I heard that they were going to start charging for FB anyway, my neice is in college and I don't know exactly the story, but she said they told her that in one of her marketing type classes, cause they were using FB as a model for learning. So, I will probably end up deleting my account.

omg i suggested we have a chat area like facebook chat but better and actually able to work lol. i dont think they will do it.

you should maybe delete some people who are making your life hell, because it does not seem like they care about you. so its time to cut down some trees as i always say.
i unfortunalty dont have myspace its not my thing i dont know why. i just dont like it for some reason maybe its all the info people put out there. i just feel like i would be exposing myself not only to potential friends but too the people who created it.

i havent heard of charging for using facebok. this is the first time i am actually. and ill die because i play so many games and i do keep contact with friends. so its gunna ruin my life.

Well for your sake I hope they don't charge for FB, if it means that much to you. I know how it is, I am attached to myspace the very same way. If myspace charged I would probably have to figure out a way to pay for it since I'm definetely an addict.

But, you know how it is, when something gets so huge like that, all of a sudden it turns into a money making machine that too many people want to get a bigger peice of, and once they know they have you, they could very well say something like "due to the overhead of FB having 65,000,000,000 (whatever) people, we need to charge a small fee of (blank) in order to provide you with optimum service..." blah blah blah, this is just off the top of my tired head..

Cause my neice is in college away from home, and college kids use the heck out of FB to keep in touch with family and friends back home. Certainly, you can't beat that deal, you get to keep in contact, live chat, play games and all kinds of things for just the price of your internet service...who is paying for all that stuff?? You know what I mean?

But yeah, I get you, I know alot of people who aren't myspace people, and I know alot of people who aren't FB people and I also know people who get bored and flip back and forth. It's nice to know that there is more than one option out there.

I considered deleting people as you said, but, that would seriously hurt my tips whenever I do get back to work. I mean the city I live in is not the city I work in. The city I work in is where I went to school, and it is a smallish town with the Peyton Place vibe going on. So having to wait on people I deleted would be awkward, and it would be like "why did you delete me, and not so and so?" Kinda thing, cause they aren't all bad.

So, I just pop in with my IM turned off, feed my fish, play a game or two and read my mail. It's fine that way.

Hope your feeling better these days, you know you are a sweetheart, and thought of very fondly, well, if you didn't know that, you do now. {{{ HUGS }}}

My cousin told her MOTHER (cousin lives in Vermont, Mother lives in Ohio) via FACEBOOK, not in message, but LIVE feed, that she was pregnant!!!!

LORD, that went over like a turd in a punch bowl. Yeah, see with myspace, it isn't like that. There is a bit of live feed, but it goes so fast, that you miss these things unless you back track and dig them up, which not too many folk bother with.

Also, Deppy, with myspace, you only have to put on there as much as you choose. A very close knowflake friend of mine opened one, and she has nothing on there, no pics, no data, she just uses it for mail and IM-ing me. Of course you can always set it to private, and only put as much info as you chose on there. Alot of people even put false info, (mine says I'm 82 years old, lol) so I guess it is just different strokes for different folks.

*OH NO I DIDINT say "strokes" around Deppy, lol. I expect a pervish backlash on that one!
