*Sigh* That is the plan, Esk, I don't do this work for my health! But, YES, you certainly have my permission to write the book when I keel over.

That is so COOOOOL you get to go to AG's play!!! I hope you have a GREAT time!! Take pics!
And, break a leg, AG!

Scorpio, Safe Travels, enjoy your vacation, and yes, do indeed kiss many foreign men!!

That's a fantastic idea, the script.

I think you're probably right about keeping your boss looking good. I'm not so good with the office politics, but I think your theory is sound. My boss is a Scorpio. I think I've got more brain power than her, and I think I'm more open to new ways of doing things, but she's in that job and I'm in this one.

Yes, they do keep going on with the arguing. I'm so tempted to say some things, but other people are making points I'd make in different ways.

I'll have to see if I can get some video of the play.

Speaking of my boss, she just came 'round to tell a story. She was having lunch at a place, and when she went back out to her car she noticed that she'd kind of botched the parking job. She gets in to the car, and prepares to start it when she notices a sticker on her window. It says, "Your car isn't nice enough to take two spots," and it's NOT handwritten. It's something that's been printed presumably onto like a sticky-note pad. The background is a blacktop with a white stripe. Someone apparently always has these stickers available to themselves. She got a kick out of it.

HA!

I must be incredibly gullible these days, I just found out from Lexx that Amish people in Ohio only pretend to be Amish! Who knew!

Yeah, Ag, can you make a link like you did on FB? When you were playing your guitar that time?

I keep thinking that if everyone ignores the fighting, it will go away. Not sure if this is My Libra stuff, my gullibleness, or some sort of twisted logic...
I just don't have that much energy to argue non-stop, unless it's, you know, real life major drama, and even then, I'm usually the one that blows up, then just walks...*shrugs*

Make a link? Where and to what? I get that you want a diversion, but I'm not catching the idea very well.

Well, if you record part of the play, on your whatever-is-your-recording-device, then can't you post that in FB like you did of the video of you playing guitar?

I think you first sent it to me as a message, but later I thought I saw you put it up, like an update thing, with a link.

Know what I mean now?
It doesn't really matter how you do it, I just want to get to see it, or some if possible.

Ohhh, ok. For some reason I was combining two of your paragraphs into one idea. Got it. Yeah, it'll probably have to be clips, because longer videos are a bear to upload.

I posted a pic of myself partially/mostly in my lieutenant's costume on Facebook. I don't have my moustache on, and the shirt under the jacket will be different.

Edit: It seems to be having some difficulty uploading. Will keep trying.

Still trying to upload that picture.

Got up this morning without much trouble. I think I slept well. I do look forward to a longer sleep tonight, though. I was also surprised this morning to learn that I went to bed in my contacts. That doesn't happen often. I went to find my glasses, and when I put them on I noticed something seemed off.

What's going on?

Our free preview of the play went alright. We definitely still need to work on our last scene. The whole cast is in it, and we all have lines, so everyone needs to know their cues.

I suspected our new Supreme Court nominee was a Taurus based on what the news was saying about her, and when I looked it up I was right! That's a nice late birthday gift.

No, not really. I'm decent under stage pressure.

I'm a stressed about having worn the two hats used in my costumes. I don't honestly know if my head is itching in a somewhat usual way, or if I might have lice. I've never had lice, so I don't have any frame of reference. I'm not happy with having this question.

EDIT: Got some encouraging words from the director that neither hat should have been infected. The soldier's hat was bought new, and the prospector's hat has been in storage for a long time.

I am nailing Sun sign predictions lately! This morning it's a cast member. She just friended me on Facebook, so I got to find out her Sun sign without asking. She's a Gemini. That's two cast members and a Supreme Court nominee I've gotten right in one week.

Thanks! I will. Though you should know, it's actually far left if you're facing the stage. That's where my underground cell is.

Thanks!

Good news everyone. One of the guys from improv video taped our performance last night. Also, the play's producer is taping it next weekend. Assuming their both not complete flakes I may just have a video to share.

Also, I realized today that there was sort of a loose end where my lice suspicion is concerned. After learning that the hats weren't possibly infected I dropped my paranoia, and interestingly my itching went away. You've gotta watch that Virgo Moon sometimes. There's a bit of a rational hypochondriac there.

I meant to tell you about this:

There are two sixth graders in my play. They're about 11 years old. They attend a middle school that is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Middle school (or Junior High: 7th and 8th grade) is the point in American school life where dances start happening.

The young Cancerian boy invited the Taurus girl to the dance. First he tried asking via text message, but you know Taurus girl wouldn't stand for that, so he asked her at school in front of everyone. The 7th and 8th grade girls in our play have been harrassing both of them ever since. I remember what that was like, and it really was torture. I was a little dismayed a couple days ago when it looked like the pressure finally broke them. I heard them call off the date.

So yesterday I asked the Cancer what was up. He said that they're still going, but they agreed via text message to act like they weren't in order to get the girls off their backs. Brilliant!

How sweet!! Although moving your love underground is a shame. But then again, welcome to the world of romance.... Only if you're 20-90 and have dated the same partner for a very long time and you are opposite sexex, then you're not driven underground.

No wonder falling in love is painful!!!!!!

So what part do you have AG? (Sorry, you've probably said it somewhere and I haven't read it).

Are you a tree? Or do you have a line?

I have three parts:

Sourdough Birthright is the grizzled gold prospector who dies while attempting to bring his will (including the Deed to his tavern in Monterey) to his only family heir, his orphaned niece Bertha Birthright.

Billy is a young lad fresh off the stagecoach to Monterey. He's come to join Colonel Jonathan D. Stevenson and the New York Volunteers (the military of the time). Instead, he gets lured into the tavern where he gets coerced by the imfamous Carlota Castenet De San Diego to drink the drugged rum. He's brought below to their holding cell where he awaits the ship captain that has paid for his capture. He will soon be slave labor on a ship headed to China.

Lorne Order is a junior Officer under the command of true blue Colonel Jonathan D. Stevenson. He's been assigned the task of ensuring that no profiteering is taking place while the Gold Rush is on. He's keeping his eye on the tavern that our villain runs (the tavern Sourdough left to his niece). He makes quite an impression on young Bertha at their first brief meeting. Bertha surprises everyone when she chooses to be with Lorne instead of the obvious hero, Jack Swan, at the end of the play.
