i've got something similar going on with my hand, btw, AG. Only it's my left hand. I've been having it for months now - something with the nerves/tendons. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I don't like it. I like my hands to work properly and pain free.Carpel tunnel is more common in women, so it could be that for you. It could be that for me as well, but I don't know. IP: Logged |

Carpal tunnel surgery sucks. I had it on both hands. ewwww. Recovery is painful, then you have to go to physical torture, I mean therapy.I would never do that again, tingles or not. I love Lake Tahoe. Freezing water, but so gorgeous. Have fun!! IP: Logged |

Naked Eyes as in Promises, Promises, and Always Something There To Remind Me? If so, I like those songs. Taught myself the latter one years ago.IP: Logged |

I guess Tahoe's out. Harold, the other Cap/Gem, wants to be home on the 5th in case his roommate is unable to pay rent. He wants to ensure it's covered, and there's no late fee.Saturday night, the troupe is talking about seeing an improv show somewhere. Our leader suggests that we go to BATS (Bay Area Theater Sports), which I've never seen. I think they're the biggest name improv troupe around here. Weird being on the home computer at night again. Seems like I haven't done this in ages.

I love Portland. One of my favorite places. I've read that it's an Aquarian city. Free buses. Awesome. I really liked the people there, too. They're like Californians, but friendlier.Always Something There To Remind Me is such a good song to reminisce to. Those two songs play on my Pandora station. I'm not sure if Pandora's tried playing of their other songs for me. IP: Logged |

oh, an aquarian city....how appropriate! yes, it is, i could see that. appeals to my aqua jupiter in the 10th, as i like the way the entire city is set up with a lot of varied options of where to live Portland is kind of like the way sf was when i lived here 15 years ago, in a way. sf was always a bit snobby tho and i don't mind that so much as i mind THE DAMN PRICES now it's so bloody expensive and the snobbery is more noticeable because u can't go 'oh well, at least it's affordable'
portland is a lot more affordable...one of my oold writing teachers and another author friend i know live there, so i am looking forward to that IP: Logged |

Hi Eskimono,The singer is Laura Jansen. she'sdutch/american. I don't know much about her. Yes, I like the song too. Yesterday I had a great night with my friends. The weather was very warm. Our country is full of the world championship football. So yesterday we went to a beachclub to see our dutch soccerteam play against brasil. We won the game. So it was one big party. We ate altogether at the beach with ocean view. It was so nice....... AG, hope your arm is better and have fun at lake Tahoe. Everybody happy independance day the 4th! So U.S.A. is sun cancer. That old movie Top Gun always gives me a U.S.A. cancer (patriotic) feeling.
Tom cruise is sun cancer, Kelly mcgilles is sun cancer and singer of the themsong is sun cancer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8rZWw9HE7o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEOem7U2LPE

That's interesting. I love finding astrological stuff like that.My hand and arm aren't better yet, but hopefully this weekend will give them a rest. For some reason I never made the connection before, but there's a guy in my improv group who's Dutch. He's an orthodontist. Tall blond guy. Coincidentally, he's also a Cancer I think, though he might be the last day of Cancer. Here's something I found interesting recently that's astrology-related: I watch this show on HGTV (Home & Garden Television) called Design Star. Designers compete to get their own show on HGTV. The very first episode dealt with astrology. It's called the "White Room Challenge." Every designer is given a completely white room (with some minor white furnishings) to decorate. This season they had to decorate using a competitor as a client (I just had to stop using my right hand, because it was painful). They were arbitrarily paired up for this challenge. Nina and Courtland got one another. Nina asked Courtland what his sign was as part of her interview. He said he was a Gemini. She gave him a deep navy blue wall color with white stripes to mimic baseboards and crown moulding. There was also a white rectangle created on the wall over the bed (this challenge included a small bed). They were only allowed to decorate with items bought at a massive, three story Asian market, so she put up different colored parasols. It did not say "Gemini" to me whatsoever. If I got a male Gemini, I'd do at least part of a wall with multi-colored vertical stripes. There's order in the lines, and chaos in the colors. It represents Gemini's Mercurial nature wonderfully. He was nice about it, though, and said he was alright with it. The very next challenge Courtland the Gemini painted vertical stripes just like I had envisioned for him when I thought about what I'd do for a Gemini. He won that challenge, too. I feel very satisfied knowing that I know enough about Gemini energy to have thought of the same thing he did. IP: Logged |

I've heard you talking before about that dutch orthodontist. Do you find him strange? What is a dutch orthodontist doing in the U.S.A.? Mmm... enough about him. You'd better not type if it hurts your hand that much. Like I said before I think you need to exercise more and lower sweet food. It's what i'm trying to do. I've got those lazy planets in my chart libra and taurus and i'm a fixed sun. So I can easely sit on the couch and than slowly become part of the furniture. And my work is al computer, so in my weekend I try to go out and move my ass. That's a nice show. What would i create for al the other signs. For pisces, sea and fish and for cap mountains? A year ago I had this wonderful erotic dream about a room . And the surpising part was there were no people in the dream. There was a room ,with large windows. So it was very light. There was only a chair and a mirror in the room. It was daytime, because it wasn't dark outsight. The floor was very thick cream white carpet. Soft good quality carpet. Not a parquet floor. The room turned me on,mostly because of the quality of the carpet. IP: Logged |

Hope Tahoe is tickling your fancy. My daughter has a friend over to play, so I came upstairs to get some peace and to give them some space. I could hear crashing and banging coming from the kitchen and considered whether I should investigate. My daughter has a fairly well developed sense of right and wrong, so I thought I should just trust her (read: couldn't be arsed going downstairs). Then I heard the backdoor slam, and out they went. I went down later to make a coffee and found empty fruit juice cartons all over the side (ALL of the fruit juice that I stocked up on yesterday). When they came back I asked what they had been doing. It turns out they had made their own fruit punch and had taken it round the neighbourhood for some 'market research' taste tests. I knew I would pay for that moment of laziness. Caroline - I have to confess to being a little disturbed by your erotic carpet dream. As you didn't elaborate too much my mind has been forced to fill in the blanks! I am one step away from booking the ranch holiday for next summer. I am very excited, but actually a bit nervous that it will so good that I won't want to come home. This is a bit of new one for me. AG - someone was asking after you in LLC. IP: Logged |

I'm laughing within myself about that crazy dream. What would happen to me if I enter a carpet store?Cool, a ranch holiday. That you have the courage to ride a horse. I once took a lesson horsback riding. Because I always had this romantic fantasy about me riding a horse at the beach etc. As I took the lesson I was very afraid. You have to stand up and sit down again on the horse. My whole bottum was blue. Me and my romantic ideas, the problem is I go after them.....

Yeah - I think it would be wise for you to stay away from that type of store! I think I may have been a cowgirl in a past life. My daughter has been having weekly riding lessons from the age of 4. On holiday in Ireland she coerced me into having a lesson with her. It came completely naturally to me, freakily so. I put it down to having been watching her lessons for so long. Then, the week before last we had a corporate shooting event. I have never shot a rifle in my life, but had scarily good aim and walked away with the trophy. I beat my boss, and my bosses boss, and all of their colleagues. They were most put out, and I didn't help by chanting 'you got beaten by a girl' when I collected my prize. Add the 2 things together and I can only come up with the cowgirl theory!

Yes, Nederland is right, that's the way we pronounce it in dutch. I dunno where in English the "th'is coming from. Carpricorn in dutch is called steenbok. When you translate that we're saying stone goat. This evening is the match spain-germany. The winner of this game is meeting Nederland in the final. How's your arm doing? Did you have a nice day the 4th? Tomorrow I've my last day of the business course i'm doing. I've got to look my office best and give a presentation. The'll put it on camera and then play the movie without sound. I think i'm gonna wear my black dress and red pumps. Eskimono, how's our cowgirl doing? Now i remember another thing about my horsebackriding experience when the ears of a horse go flat, he isn't happy. Can I ask a sensitive question, what's the sun of your ex? IP: Logged |

Steenbok...that's cool. I like it.My arm is still hurting every now and then. I took today off sick. Felt feverish this morning for some reason, but now I feel fine. The 4th was pretty cool. They do have a good fireworks show up there. IP: Logged |

Starting my commute home, so I can make my doctor's appointment. Other than the optometrist, this will be the first use of my medical benefits in my year-and-a-half of having them at this job. I need to start making better use of them. Haven't been to a dentist since I got out of the Navy.IP: Logged |
