There has to be other factors as well, because I have alot of Cancer in my chart, and even though I am a girl my energy comes across with a strong yang quality to it. A couple of astrologers I've shown my chart to in the past thought I was guy until I told them otherwise. Alot of harsh aspects to Mars, Sun/Mars, Mars/Pluto, Mars/ascendant.------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer "I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me. I lived a few weeks while she loved me" IP: Logged |

You have to look at the whole chart. An emphasis on (any of) the feminine signs, houses, and/or planets can make a man feminine. But if that same man has Sun closely conjunct Mars, forget it. An emphasis on (any of) the masculine signs, houses, and/or planets can make a woman masculine. But if that same woman has Sun closely conjunct Neptune, forget it. Conjunctions to the Sun, Moon, and/or Ascendant are naturally more influential.

Very interesting thread. The whole thing about Libras and the water signs making men more feminine seems to be pretty true. I'm a Libra with a Moon in Pisces and Rising in Scorpio. And the vast majority of my chart is composed of water signs. Now I'm not a GIRLY man, but I have a "softness" to me I have been told... or artsy if you will. IP: Logged |

I'm female and straight. My mars is unaspected in Leo in the 7th.There is a 'tomboyishness' to me. Men seem to see me as a brother and women tend to compete with me. Jupiter is prominent, conj DSC. I feel in women's social connections, there is an underlying agenda of whether you are a leader or a follower. Women can't work out whether I'm a worthy top chick or someone to join their own admiring throng. I don't feel I am either. I best relate to men's conversations and they seem to be happy enough with my company. The women I can relate to are usually off-beat but then I think they wonder if I like them because they think I might be gay - I'm not, and so I tend to chill those connections as well. Old women and small children seem to be the only females who can cope with my type of energy. Otherwise, I feel I am threatening to most women or getting too close to men that I really only want to be friends with. On the otherhand, the only hot relationships I ever get are with b**tards. According to almost everyone I've ever met, they initially thought I was ultra-feminine. However, when they got to know me, they saw my more masculine side. I enjoy sports and video games; I'm not a prissy girl who is afraid to get her hands dirty. My placements are: Neptune conjunct ascendant, Cappie rising, moon in first house, venus trine neptune, venus sextile mars (I get along very well with men), mars trine pluto (gives me willpower and a fighting spirit) and venus opposition pluto (gives me intensity)

this got me thinking to the type of friends/mates i prefer, and it's always masculine women for friends and masculine men for mates. never ever the feminine type. mars/saturn/pluto conjunct in libra & moon/venus conjunct in capricorn. have never been called "masculine" but have been in numerous fights with men who thought they could somehow bully me because they're stronger than i am, theyre a man and im a woman, etc., if a man looks at me in a weird way [read: confrontational] i will give him a look like "i could drop kick you" and im not very big at all but the strength i have inside of me really feels like i could, haha. cool topic.IP: Logged |

I see some fonts here saying that Virgo is androgynous cos of mercury , does that mean that Pisces is Masculine cos we’re ruled by Jupiter?Virgo is a feminine sign symbolized by a maiden , there’s nothing androgynous about the Virgo sign cos it’s mutable earth , if not My sign is also a masculine sign cos of Jupiter, a feminine sign is a feminine sign and a masculine sign is a masculine sign...Air signs can even come off as androgynous but not feminine signs ruled by different planets...fire signs can make one look masculine especially Aries the most masculine, I’ve never seen a feminine Aries woman with that womanly grace , I’ve always perceived them to be highly assertive, even if Aries was ruled by Venus or the moon , there will still be something very masculine about that sign !!!! Virgos are a more feminine , the men lack a lot of masculinity, the women are too feminine to the extent they are overly submissive and taken advantage of Also Pisces , we’re more feminine than usual even if we’re ruled by a masculine planet, including cancer as it’s ruled by the moon Taurus has more masculine traits but still feminine Libra is not feminine to me at all cos it’s cardinal air and Saturn is the strongest in that sign

Virgo the sign of the maiden makes one look rather feminine than androgynous, would you say my sign would make one masculine cos we’re ruled by a masculine planet Jupiter? Gemini and Aquarius I agree cos they’re of masculine elements , Virgo is symbolized by a woman and is mutable earth, Aquarius even makes one look masculine Out of the earth and water signs it is Cancer, Pisces and Virgo risings that usually looks the most feminine while Taurus, Capricorn,Scorpio looks kinda masculine Gemini gives androgynous looks , Libra kinda gives androgynous vibes too but Aquarius is masculine followed by Leo , Sagittarius & Aries IP: Logged |

I strongly believe that people with heavy Cancer and Virgo placements tend to have very yin energy both male and female Every Virgo moon woman I’ve seen is always stuck on some martyr tendencies and are very passive Moon in Cancer is passive too IP: Logged |
