bumping up this thread for a few reasons..1. hope it gives some introspection for SCWeb, VirgOh and others because I am noticing a lot of Scorpionic way of discussions (nothing wrong, I am one of them!) 2. been personally going through Phoenix side.. and also starting to learn the Dove side.. been also reading the history around Picasso's Dove painting.. VirgOh - btw, didn't want to hijack your thread as I haven't been reading details.. but love that Sco Moon in you..It's Real and I don't see anything wrong! PP - My friend.. how do you like these animals in you? LOL. Knowflakes - Please do add your experiences.. IP: Logged |

Thanks MB, I tremendously enjoy your topics as well. They had a thread about songs that fit your moon sign and my reply was: The dramatic joys of Moon in Scorpio The smell of tension. Emotional intensity ... Mastering emotions. Out of control ... Honesty. Self awareness ...Self indulgence. Intelligence. Intimacy ... Energy ... Strength. Death ... Rebirth. Suspicion ... Trust. Commitment ... Loyalty ... Betrayal ... Revenge ... The cold deadly sting Waves Within ... Close your eyes ... Listen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rauk8JeAr0c&feature=related I still identify and relate to the hotheaded warrior scorpio image in this thread in my everyday life "violently passionate, bluntly sarcastic, egotistical, controlling and manipulative." As this is how I am and I am not ashamed of admitting it... That's me to a certain extent and for some strange reason I have never met any Scorps who come across that way just yet.
At times it is a burden but I believe part of being a Scorp is to master your overwhelming emotional side. I wouldn't ever go with thr Lizard Scorp, what a waste to be a Scorp and not realize your full potential my ex of 3 years was a Lizard Scorp, always negative, always complaining about something, always miserable about her current situation and can't get out of it or be strong enough to create circumstances to help herself out. (I strongly admire this sign) I can't relate to the soaring eagle scorp, I think that embodies the Scorp sun sign rather than the moon Scorp, the same is true for the Phoenix and Dragon. (Interesting bit about Sir Crowley there) The Owl ... Certainly ... silent, watchful, precise, wise, and powerful all aspects of the Scorpio moon IMO. Good to see you. IP: Logged |

My mom was the worst, I'd say a cross between lizard (addict and giving up on her own power, at least in any direct sense) and scorpion (cruel, vengeful, and extremely manipulative). The best was an Eagle, perhaps even a phoenix (it occurs to me now that she said very little about her life before we met...). She had overcome all the negative traits of Scorpio while embracing the best, had one of the most brilliant & fearless minds I've ever encountered, stood strong without being spiteful (though she held people who wallowed in self-pity in contempt, though as long as they were trying to improve themselves and/or life she'd support them). She was extraordinary, and I feel honored that she called me friend. I know one Scorpio guy who pretended to be a scorpion (hotheaded, violent, in your face) but he was actually loyal and protective, he just liked to hide how good he was beneath his rough exterior (Wolverine in the movies reminds me of him). He was a vicious street fighter (he was also a runaway boy living on the streets) but he never abused anyone's trust in him, and he had a lot of self-control (though he liked to pretend otherwise, I recall laughing once when he chased off some guys playing mind games with us by acting dangerously unstable and roaring, "I'm crazy, too!!!"). My best friend from 10-15 was a lizard, I suppose, very much into the sex & drugs, and was a leaf in the wind. Still, I wouldn't call her a bad person, the only one I've ever known her to be malicious to was herself (though she'd join in tormenting others, but again that was being a leaf in the wind following the crowd rather than some malicious or sadistic desire). But I'm not sure what animal to pick for the Scorpio tantrums & self-pitying whining I've seen in this forum lately, yet I'm hopeful it's rare as it's certainly NOT sexy or magnetic the way Scorpio is supposed to be. At one point I would phase between being a pitiful lizard and being a bridge-burning scorpion. But now I'm a handsome golden eagle!!!! Or at least I feel like it sometimes. Maybe I'm just a shiny rooster or flamingo instead. quote: PixieJane: the Scorpio tantrums & self-pitying whining I've seen in this forum lately [are] certainly NOT sexy or magnetic the way Scorpio is supposed to be.
I do neither anymore. Does this mean I'm SEXAYYYYYYYYYYY? EDIT! I didn't notice the "what about Scorpios in ur life" part. One of my peers is a total lizard. She has her head up her ass. My friend's dad is a lizard too I think - hides away. My mother's acquaintance has to be Sun/Uranus in Scorpio! She's really eccentric and totally into a whole lot of new age stuff. I'd think she's an eagle. My online gurlfrand is a scorpion - she's got deep control issues which stem from previous disappointments. And I mean, they aren't exactly malignant control issues, she just...prefers to keep people on a need to know basis. Those are all the Scorpios I can think of off the top of my head. Very few Scorpios in both my area and peer group... IP: Logged |

The only ones I've heard of in connection to Scorps with any regularity is the eagle, the phoenix and...here's the obvious one!...the Scorpion.I've encountered some Scorpionic people that are more on the eagle/phoenix end, but if I'm honest about it, that's rare. I think Pluto/Scorpio energy is one of those things where it's a really difficult energy to handle well and be a fundamentally decent person, and not many can do that. I think the same is true to some extent of the other outers too - in general people seem to have a hard time integrating and using the energy in a really positive way. The Saturnian people I've encountered seem to have issues with compassion and tend to be too hard-hearted; the Neptunian ones usually have issues deciding what is real and what isn't; Plutonian people usually have trouble understanding that life isn't one big power-play and with refraining from going on revenge trips. Depends on if the person hates me, likes me, or loves me; as to what level of Scorpio I am seen as. Was not aware of Owl, only Grey Lizard, Scorpion, Eagle, and Phoenix.

Excellent, you have always come over to me as being an evolved type - I have a couple of Solar Scorpio friends who have much the same energy as you, very knowing and level-headed. Not easily antagonised and slow to anger. The other type I clash with and we almost repel each other. I have direct experience with a "Lizard type", as a child I watched my father go from an eagle to a lizard, seemingly overnight. To me knowledge he has stayed that way since. I love the Flamingo analogy btw IP: Logged |

A cross between the Phoenix and Eagle I am, I'd say the Personality of the Eagle and the experiences of the PhoenixThe I know three other people with scorpio as a dominant sign in their chart, my mother and ex who're both lizards/scorpions and my friend who I'd say is an Eagle/Owl I'm so glad you made this thread, a lot of people think that scorpios all are the Scorpion totem and all fit that but there are a diverse range of us! I would be… a mix ofThe Scorpion- a hotheaded warrior who is violently passionate, bluntly sarcastic, egotistical, controlling and manipulative. The soaring Eagle - the calm but intense, focused, determined, intuitive and perceptive Scorpio who often developed healing, clairvoyant and counseling abilities. I feel as a Scorpio, I’ve truly gone through all of these cycles, and continue to go through them everyday. There are days I feel like a TRUE lizard. And struggle to rise above it and then there are days that I’d tell you I’m a total owl. I think that’s the mystery and beauty behind our sign- we literally die and are reborn every single day in some way shape or form. Constant transformation drives who we are. alanabelle86 - interesting stellium you have. you seem to be a very passionate independent and hard working person.. of course Scorps in your generation I have noticed are overwhelmed on a daily basis with this potent energies that are burning inside wanting to do something or change something.. I have six planets in Scorp but feel a bit relieved that my Pluto is in Libra.IP: Logged |

AshSkye I agree..Scorps have too much going on to associate with just one sign.. I think Serpent who sheds layers and is reborn continues to define Scorps quite well..IP: Logged |

My aunt is a Scorpio Sun and never ever got married, had children, been with a man, done anything. All she did her whole life was stay at home tending to her mom and family. She's such a scaredy-cat though... She's scared of everything!!! I would say she's a lizard, I guess... She's 70 now and still in the same house she was born in.My Scorpio best friend is STILL a lizard... She used to be a scorpion back when we would spend our days together but now she downgraded back into a lizard once she moved to another town. I think she has a long way to go still. My 7 planet Scorpio friend is a Scorpion for sure!! The sleekest kind... you wouldn't even know how manipulative and dark she is on the inside upon knowing her. My grandma was a Dove. She had plenty of hardships as a child but never complained nor ran out of love to share with people and animals. She was so docile and sweet. As for me, I think I've gone through the first 3. My youngest years I was a lizard definitely then became a Scorpion. That's when I thought I was on top of my game and at my prime (high school, ugh) but I now realize that was when I was at my lowest. Right now I would say I have qualities of an Eagle and Serpent... mostly Eagle but Serpent because I'm still in the process of shedding my unwanted layers. Scorp Asc conj Pluto Great thread!
