I'm weirdly controlling, with just about everyone and everything. If I'm not in control, I get crazy anxiety. Also, I hate going into situations without knowing facts and details. In my disturbed mentality, I think: Control = power = strong = tough = lacks vulnerability = unemotional = independent = can't be hurt by others. In my mind, when I'm not in control, I feel weak and vulnerable... as if someone could hurt me, mostly emotionally, does that make sense? Emotionally, I have a very masculine mentality. Not a playboy/**** mentality... but I don't like being sensitive and emotional so I keep everyone at a distance. This, in and of itself, hinders my ability to trust just about everyone in my life. And it definitely affects my desire to be emotionally and physically intimate with anyone. Not sure if this could be due to the fact that I've got some aqua placements, or just my past (alcoholic parent)? I've especially known some people with Mars in Virgo who are controlling to the point of isolating themselves. No one can stand being around someone so critical. One has to control her children up to a level that is complete domination. It's almost sickening. My boyfriend has mars conj jupiter in virgo and he is hyper critical and controling, if I resist this controlingness he will not stop, but become even more so untill I just have to get away from him(like trying to escape a jailer)! I don't feel threatened by people in general, but I can't say I feel in "control" either. I've never really understood the fascination with "control". To some extent we're all out of control a great majority of our lives. There are things you can control or at least situations in which you have the illusion of control - and there are other things/situations that are completely beyond your control. Such is life. Relax and go with it. My advice would be to work on ways to feel less personally threatened by a loss of control. You should be able to feel completely safe, even after the acknowledgement that you have zero control - kinda like when you float on water for the first time. It's scary to begin with, but once you're floating you realize it's ALL going to be OK - really! IP: Logged

Libralove09 unregistered	posted January 02, 2009 06:26 PM hmm, im quite controlling, i don't like admitting it, because it doesn't agree with my ideals. not that i have to be the boss or anything, but anythign that i consider belonging to me, i have to have control somewhere. the home matters most to me. everyone here has mentioned placements iv got in my chart, i have a fair few domiciles. for one - i have Sun & rising leo, pluto in scorpio, saturn in capricorn, moon in aries, mars in virgo, and if its any more- mercury in virgo. the home is where control matters to me most. children i would like to guide, the lover i would like to make decisions with, im also a "rightist", if i am wrong, and the other is right, i will not try and "control" just because its me. my venus in libra doesn't agree with too much control. Just a clarification, I wouldn't say I'm bossy in any way (frankly, I'm not extroverted enough to be bossy) but rather, I like to have details and be thorough in things. For example, if someone invites me to dinner at a restaurant, I will check the menu first to know what I'm going to order. Or, I like to drive, rather than be passenger. Suede unregistered	posted January 13, 2009 12:11 PM That sounds a lot like me only I'm female. I'm also a control freak. I have Sun conjoined Mars square Pluto. Saturn makes a loose trine to my mars and Pluto conjoins my Ascendant. I think that maybe your Pluto and Saturn squaring your Sun might have something to do with it. Not only that, your Saturn is conjoining your Pluto. But I'm just a newbie so someone will come along and confirm or deny this. IP: Logged
