Which force is stronger? The force of Saturn or the force of Pluto?

I've got Saturn square Pluto right at 0'00 degrees in my chart. I have yet to figure that out.
I think one has to give in to the other periodically. But Saturn cannot get in Pluto's way for too long, else Pluto will blow everything to smithereens the longer it's resisted.
Scorpio demands a level of sacrifice, and will bend to Capricorn as long as it is conducive to getting Capricorn to think everything is ok and good and sound and 'status quo'. And then Scorpio will pull the rug out from under Capricorn. I've seen it in action, and it ain't pretty. IP: Logged |

hmm good question.
For me it feels as scorpio is always the strongest. The scorpios i meet always leave a more lasting impression on me, including those with some prominent scorpio in their chart. The capricorns i've met usually annoy me and the conversation tends to drag...or the "relationship" is short lived.IP: Logged |

Libralove, I'd say the two planets are in some sort of agreement, at least not at each other's throats. They can help each other to a level and not get in each other's way. Saturn will work with Pluto's energy. I'd think it's less hung up on staying in a rut. One less thing you have to worry about in the grand cross of yours!!! IP: Logged |

my saturn doesnt aspect my pluto. for some reason i confused it with neptune which is sextile my pluto (along with mercury, and venus trines it)IP: Logged |

Everybody already knows where I stand: Pluto and Scorpio. I should say, however, that I have always gotten along with Capricorns very well because we respect each other's power. Saturn is a great planet too: it's the only truly grounding influence in my chart and helps to make my Mercury/Uranus conjunction a little less crazy.My Pluto and Saturn are semi-sextile... ------------------

I don't think it's so much which is stronger. I think it's just that in the end pluto has the last say. Things just don't stay saturn like, they are broken/torn down and transform.
If your talking about the signs, scopio and capricorn, I think that scorpios power is closest matched by cappy's as far as other signs go but...
scorpio is willing to scour the depths of hell if need be. So there is that power that comes from willing to destroy everything built including the self, that cap doesn't have. That's intensity,power, in a wayIP: Logged |

But I think Scorpios are popular much because they exude certain feelings and sexuality. Obviously that's attractive, but does that spell strong?
Capricorns might seem 'dull' and boring, but does that mean they're weak? Does that take away their power?

No, the issue is more like even Saturn (lord of structure) is subject to destruction for the sake of regeneration (Pluto).
I personally get along with both signs very well, and I don't necessarily equate Scorpio with sex. That's just a stereotype. I've met some really boring Scorpios and some really sexual Capricorns.Aren't we essentially talking about whether structure can withstand the power of transformation? It can't. That goes against transformation, no?

"lol that is completely off the point she/he made. to me i don't think either sign is stronger, between capricorn and scorpio. how ever, comparing planets, pluto is stronger than saturn, saturn is the grounder, the foundation, only something more powerful is going to destroy it and rebuild - pluto. saturn restricts, pluto transforms, its pretty straight forward to me, pluto always has the last say, and does the transforming. i am definitely sensing a biased thing going here about capricorn/saturn vs pluto scorpio. in any case, Fist, scorpio being more popular than capricorn because of there stereotypes, is nothing to do with strength, i don't know why you brought that up, the "magnetism" is completely irrelevant agreeing with what good girl is saying, its pretty straight forwardly proving which is "stronger". this also again depends on what you were defining as stronger. it seems your starting some fan boy thing with capricorn being best because those are the types you fall for? and your ex or current love interest is a saturn type?  iv been seeing you "sticking up" for saturn/capricorn. lol the main reason is nothing to do with intense, its to do with transformation, and foundations/restrictions. the ability to transform something that is "restricting" seems logically to be the "stronger" force. intense/magnetism is nothing to do with it? were talking about the abilities of the planets? the planets are a no brainer, if your comparing scorpio and capricorn as signs about whos "stronger" then i see that irrelevant to astrology really.. you don't get stronger signs, you get signs with weaknesses and strengths in different things, each strength is equal, they just have strength at different things. which is the purpose of the planets really, but i would choose pluto* still, because its strength is to change and rebirth structures and such, which is what saturn's strength is, but if saturn's strength could not give in to pluto, then pluto wouldn't have a job lol - but it does have a job, and does it. i wasn't trying to feed either sign compliments, its you and this capi fetish besides, im standing from a non biased point of view here, i have saturn in capricorn sextile pluto in scorpio, im not a fan of either signs. i prefer the 3 air signs, virgo, cancer & sagittarius.
other signs i only like a touch or a bit of, but prominent capricorn in women is a turn off for me, same with prominent scorpio. lol IP: Logged |

I tend to think that in terms of 'stronger' as 'the greater force to be reckoned with', it comes down to a question of time. Trans-Saturnian planets are traditionally considered to be more powerful. Saturn tells us we are 'limited' to the practicalities of the material world and tests our consciousness of reality through each stage of development. Trans-Saturnians such as Pluto transcend us and promise unlimited growth. However, from the viewpoint of spiritual progress Saturn is of the greatest benefit because it concentrates our experience and shows us the realities of our existence and asks us and test us as to how spiritually developed are we - can we attend to the necessities and still treat others decently and maintain a workable society. After having accepted our condition with grace, thanks to Saturn, we develop spiritually and become sufficiently able to be awakened to other planes of being by the trans-Saturnians. Pluto brings to the surface the psychic material to be transformed and eliminated. So, Saturn is initially the more powerful if our soul's purpose is to transform and then transcend. However, it is Pluto that then has to deal with the repression of eons and for this it requires extremely powerful energy.
