I've never known how to use astrology to predict a certain degree into the future...

Can anyone help me?

Any methods welcome, big and small!

Okay, Peri, I did the solar arc interpretation, and I read before that only close aspects are considered.
Why is that? When the aspect is exact, is that when something's bound to happen?
How would interpret an aspect of .39 degrees?

an aspect of 0.39 degrees is the conjunction

only close aspects should be considered cozz it's a 1-year=1-degree progression, I mean if for example you have natal venus at 23 gem and solar arc moon at 20 gem, that is supposed to mean that you will seriously fall in love in 3 years when sa moon will be conj natal venus

Peri, if I give you an example can you help me interpret it?
My solar arc Mercury(9th) is sextile my natal Venus in Gemini (7th), what do think this could mean?

Also solar arc Mars in Aries (5th) trines my natal Saturn in Sag. in the first house, I'm not sure what this would suggest. Both of these aspects have tight orbs under one degree.

My tightest aspect is solar arc Sun in Leo (9th) trine (007') natal Uranus in Sag. (1st) does this suggest disruptions in traveling?

I'd like to learn more about solar arcs. They seem to be more accurate than progressions. Good topic! I'm always interested in predicting the future...

Mercury is in the 9th house in Leo, and the cusp of Gemini is located in the 7th house.

Sun trine Uranus promotes creativity and self-expression, sudden positive changes, opportunities

Merc sextile Venus: popularity within your community (or light-hearted, fun romance?)

Mars trine Saturn: makes me think of high efficiency performance

for some reason these aspects make me think that you should probably participate in an international art exhibition or something like that?

It definitely has encouraged me to be more creative! How do figure out the time range?

So what's the difference between solar return, progressed, transits, and solar arc? (Hey, I might even be missing some).
Why not have just one?

to confirm significant events like birth of a child, marriage or death in the family etc. there's always more than 1 or 2 confirmations, this is how it works ...

how to figure out time range? i think you should look at your transits ... especially slow planet transits

Watch each day as the signs and degrees rise through out the day. As the degree rising conjuncts (and sometimes just any aspect) a planet in your birthchart, something usually happens.

Go to astrodienst to quickly run through the rising signs postions of the day.It is a great start for predicting, and easy.
