re Aries MC ..
if i could start all over again .. coxswain on a R.N.L.I. boat would suit me absolutely purrfectly

i.e. saving lives .. 'to the rescue' .. facing the challenges of a potentialy hostile enviroment ..
riding those waves in a powerful boat .. .. it's all arien i rekon ..
and being in control at the helm would suit my natal pluto-sun aspect to a "T" ..
i mean i would really have loved to do that ..
that .. or air/sea/mountain rescue ..

Liz.Greene describes ~Aries~ pretty well in her book .. " Astrology for Lovers"
.. it's a fairly good all-around book on the 12 signs ..
i.e. one can put the same 'values' to other placements in the chart as well ..
and get a good basic idea of astrology interps and the like .. IMHO ..
( e.g. aries - 'knight in shining armour' .. but .. like servants to polish the armour
( and take care of 'details' .. things that are somewhat below the 'knights' status

I've never *refused* someone because of certain placements...though I don't date that often to be sure. But because of past experiences, certain influences do make me weary. LOL

In a way its better not to know what astrological influences someone has, because the fun of it is the mystery. I totally agree with what you were saying about being put in a nutshell when those astrologers looked at your chart. According to astrology I am a showy, blunt talker, who doesn't have any sense of commitment. Astrology can be really subjective in way, its up to you no one else.

quote:
I think Venus in Aries likes a bit of a challenge
like .. having the 'gauntlet thrown down' .. as it were ..
i.e. if the seduction is too easy .. it takes away the thrill of conquest
and venus in aries .. maybe prone to 'Love at First Sight' as well ..

then again .. maybe that's a male's attitude .. i don't know :-))
although .. obviously i can't talk for all the arien venusians hereabouts

Another Venus in Aries here

Yes I crave excitement. Yes I make love very fast, and then get bored if the other person is slower. I dont want to have to cheerlead and coax people into catching up with me. And yes I definitely fall in love at first sight and then regret it mostly later. But hey, lifes too short, might as well live it fast! I like the fact that I have that Gemini-Aries superficiality; it helps me get over disturbing and terrible relationships (physical abuse, cheated on etc) very easily. Like seriously--within 24 hours I am back to my normal perky self and checking out other people. Now, I do shed a tear or two but its usually over my pride and then I realize that I will have so much more closet space. haha. Also, it doesnt help that I have Libra Asc so Aries Descendent, plus my ruling planet Venus is in Aries in the seventh.

Btw When I was dumped by the Leo, I swore to never date Leos again.

When I broke up with the Virgo, I swore never to date Virgos again.

When I was cheated on by Mr. Aries, I swore, no more Aries.

But since Im a Gemini, and bound to have dozens of partners, I know I will go through the entire zodiac about five times, so I don't swear off any signs or aspects anymore.

The only way the vicious cycle may end is if they all decide to boycott me.

Dunno......

I think I would like to date another Water Sun Sign, mostly I end up with fire and it is not a lot of fun. Too possessive and flighty, and I think I am prejudiced as goes for a lot of Aries in the chart...

Am now liking a Moon/Venus Aqua but he has sun in Capricorn, letīs see how this goes...

Yeah, I have a gemini venus/arien mars and people here think it automatically screams CHEATER but that isn't the case, even if I do like to have fun (when I'm *single* ) It comes in handy when you want to get through a break up though. I've noticed I recover from awful experiences much quicker than the average watersign. Others think it's cruel but I think it's survival.

To all the other Venus in Aries folks, are there certain signs that you almost never find? (sun signs). I have a hard time ever meeting an Aries sun man. I think it would be fun!

Not that I can recall, I usually find out what sign people are after I meet them and even then it's common sense to know everyone projects their astrological energies different and a bad aspect shouldn't be held against a person, everyone deserves a chance and if I don't click or resonate with someone then I just move on, not really pinning them to anything astrological..just we didn't connect.
