Love is feeling the extreme need to explode. Where you feel sooo big, yet so small. Where everything becomes beautiful just by being in their presence.
It's feeling peace with yourself. Being with them and feeling calm, no words are needed, just knowing that there's no other place you'd rather be but next to them.
Where their happiness is all that's important. Bc even if they're happy without you, you'll be happy inside knowing they're content.

em a very detached person. i'd a doubt if i really loved my parents & then one day i realised how much i care for them.
but then i wonder what'll happen once i move away. will it last?
i believed i'd neva fall in luv wid a guy(my mom still doesn't believe em in luv).then i bumped into a sweet, shy guy.
we 1st bcame frnds & then lovers. i still hve crushes(right now 2 & i tell him everything). although things hve been running smooth,i thot of breaking up 2 months back coz i was unable 2 handle the intensity. i've neva loved any1 this much & its all consuming(no venus/pluto aspect). i only wanna protect my heart(neva had a heart break)
so em confewsd....

Love is not really about unconditional blind acceptance (which can be more like denial), but about simply accepting each other as humans.

Kamots - Lovely expression. My Sun, Merc., Mars in Pisces agrees. I have a Taurus Moon and mega loaded Neptune 7th House. I could possibly be too delusional in the romance department. Music, art, & mysticism help fill this void.

My Virgo husband/partner of 26 years isn't exactly what I call romantic, but he is loyal, dutiful, and compassionate. Born on the 25th (7/Pisces)this birth channel gives him extra compassion for his spouse with health matters. Like you Lexx, I have chronic pain and I don't know if I would have come this far without his unfailing support.

OneRuledbyMars, I love your view as well. My Eros is Taurus 10 - Sabian/ A Red Cross Nurse, the Agape type love you reference so beautifully.

Of course, the proverbial Piscean message is LOVE IS ALL. It's just hard to accept the painful side.

I think everyone's responses sums love up pretty well.
I think love is also wanting to protect that person from any sort of pain, whether physically or emotionally, and being careful not to hurt them through crass acts/words. If you love someone, you do put those few extra seconds to consider whether something you do/say will negatively affect the one you love...and not because you're worried about their anger or whatnot, but because you would feel hurt when they feel hurt. Although romantic love obviously has differences from love between family or friends, I feel that this is a common factor in any type of love.

Love to me is a feeling of wanting what’s best for someone, wanting to make them happy, wanting to be as close to them as possible – in spirit, if not always physically. I express love by always doing little things for those I care about, keeping promises, remembering the things that are important to them, giving them random bear hugs
I only truly feel & know I’m loved when the other person would never intentionally do something to hurt me… even if it’s something small and insignificant. I think that’s the biggest sign for me. If they are capable of causing me pain intentionally – I become very skeptical about their ‘love’.
I would also feel more loved if the person always tried to make my life nicer, easier, sweeter!
