In Linda Goodman's Relationship Signs, for Sun-Saturn double whammy in a synastry, Linda says quote: Should you be among those rare few with a double influence of this aspect between you (A' Saturn squares B' Sun, while at the same time B's Saturn squares A's Sun) then the bond linking you together, instead of being difficult to break, may be impossible to break, no matter how hard you may try to do so. If the latter is the case, good luck, and may you earn a thousand stars in your karmic crowns!
Do you find this statement true according to your own experience? Are these people still in your life? Or if you succeeded to dissociate yourself from them, could you please tell me how you did that??

Well, his Sun also conjuncts your Moon/Venus/NNI think those other wonderful aspects between his Sun and your Moon/Venus/NN could help you a lot when dealing with a single Sun-Saturn aspect, Lara

Yes, although his saturn was opposing my moon/venus/saturn/NN!I'm sure it's great if your saturn or sun is singular but when it's involved in a heavy stellium it gets a bit yucky. I certainly don't want someone's saturn conjunct or opposing my stellium... way too heavy and repressing. IP: Logged |

Is Sun Conjunct Saturn Whammy worse than Sun Square Saturn Whammy ? And are moon-saturn aspects even worse than that ?IP: Logged |

I don't know what it is, but Sun-conjunct-Saturn feels more oppressive to me than the opposition. I think of the conjunct as a vise, it clamps down. The square just sucks, but it's definite super glue, and there's still energy being generated. I have a peregrine sun, so sometimes the harsh aspects get my attention and feel more interesting than bad. The DW is definitely holding power, and karmic, and karma keeps you locked in. Saturn/Moon is a different story. It's worse than the sun/Saturn, and doesn't strike me as super glue so much as quicksand. But I really think it has to do with your own chart when it comes down to it. If you have Saturn/Moon in your chart, it won't be bad probably. If you have a well-aspected moon, or a nice, secure moon, maybe you don't mind so much. I've got a 12th house Aries moon with only one major aspect from Uranus, so hard Saturn transits or another person's Saturn on it usually feels a little like hell. My moon is just too sensitive I think. IP: Logged |

I don't want to be with somebody whose Saturn squares nor opposing my Sun especially the tight orbs because my Sun is conjunct Ixion(big kuiper belt object) with 5 minutes of arc and true Black Moon Lilith with 22 minutes. Therefore, her Saturn would square my Sun-Ixion-true black Moon Lilith, and so it would seem a bit restrictive and aggravate my nonconformist, intensity, and sensitivity in a big way that I would feel like I am being oppressed and held prisoner, and so I would feel like I need to rebel against them and stand up for my rights. She might view me as too erratic, unstable, intense, otherworldly and so she could be very restricted, skeptical, critical towards me. My Sun in 5'20 Scorpio conjuncts Quaoar in 2'22 Scorpio(a big kuiper belt object) with 2'58 orb with Sun/Quaoar midpoint in 3'51 Scorpio, and if Saturn is in 2'51 to 4'51 degrees Taurus, it will oppose my Sun/Quaoar midpoint. If Saturn is in 2'51 to 4'51 Leo,Aquarius will square my Sun/Quaoar midpoint. It would feel similar to her Saturn making hard aspect to my Sun-Ixion Raymond IP: Logged |

I have a sun-saturn conjunction, and he does as well. And these conjunct.Further, my saturn conjuncts his venus. And my pluto conjuncts his sun and venus. His pluto conjuncts my sun. In the declinations, his saturn parallels my sun, my saturn parallels his venus breakable? no way jose. I figured if it doesnt work out I may not be able to move on. Brrr.. IP: Logged |

In my case my Sun-Merc conjunction and Saturn are sextile exactly. In her chart, her Sun and Saturn are also sextile exactly.------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! Accept the fact that you'll never really break away from them and to be okay with it. With my Taurus moon nature-I'm finding it hard to. IP: Logged |

Well in my case I can say Saturn was not doing his job...I had all kinds of Saturn in synastry with the Pisces I just got over(sort of)including Sun/Saturn. And it seemed like I was the only one who felt any kind of attraction, very strong attraction. Considering the fact I don't even have any Saturn contacts in my own natal chart, and yet there was such pull towards him. So I am alittle miffed about the lack of 'promised' glue in this situation.------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer "I was born when she kissed me. I died when she left me. I lived a few weeks while she loved me" IP: Logged |

I wouldn't call it rare at all lol. It's actually pretty common.. at least in my generation. 90-94ish.. or maybe my Saturian chart just attracts these types of relationships..IP: Logged |
