I dated one Scorpio that had a Stellium in my 8th and my Stellium was in his 8th..

Sex was inevitable, I knew it was going to happen, even though I avoided it and pushed him away for months.
Then one day he said some things that grabbed my attention... Then I was Coooool....
But over all I found him boring, It just wasnt that hot for me.. I felt he was blahhhh... Not saving the sex was bad, it was good, I just expected better and I was disappointed... lol

Have I lost my mind???

I do have to admit that Scoprio Stare freaked me out a bit though...

Venus in 8th house is all about extreme intensity of desire (not necessarily in a sexual context). Venus here is very much in depth but out in the open. This very much different than Venus in 12th house that denotes secretive love.

lol… i never saw this thread before. my partner has his Venus in the Leo-ruled 8th house, it falls in Virgo. and NO ONE knows that we are "together".

i think everyone suspects or assumes that we are a couple, but it's not clear and he wants to keep it secret. it's just his weird neurosis, and it has nothing to do with his appreciation of me. we don't feel like we are a conventional romantic couple anyway.

and the sex is very "interesting" and "entertaining". the funniest thing was that, while he is a funny and quirky guy, sexually he appeared all tame and possibly boring, but it was totally the opposite and it was a really sexy surprise. he needs self-restraint because he's always "in the mood", and as a Virgo Stellium he does it well.

Empty 8H here, but my 1H Pluto-Venus gave the same effect.

My one & only long term relationship was highly secretive. He was one of my younger Profs back in univ. I refused to date him cuz I wasnt interested, but he chased me for months. Obviously the relationship had to be kept secretive from other students/friends etc. Some of my best friends from school still dont know till this day. Kept it from my parents too, as my mom is insanely controlling.

i always thought it's just a guy thing... never met a guy who was able to "forget" his past loves, whereas most girls (including myself) are pretty quick to move on when the new love enters.

I don't know what roadwarrior wrote cos it all looks like alphabet practice now..but I am in the swamp of trying to capture resonances of my 'great love' if we want to call him that, and all I see are bits and pieces in the men I attract, then I started to see, that those pieces I loved in him are part of me. Nevertheless I still want to be around those traits in others.

Venus not in 8th, but is square Pluto, 1 degree.
My friend Venus trine Pluto is of similar dilemma, only she doesn't see those traits she loves in others, in herself so clearly.

Brings to mind shadow issues,
Positive traits can be projected just the same as negative.

Ami, i dunno, isn't it commonly said too? but it's true, in my personal experience, i've seen many guys placing each girl they dated in a special place in their memory, while girls are pretty dry and move on once a new interest enters. of course a few of the guys i dated are still special to me, but not in the romantic/sappy way these guys regard their exes. i have lots of guy friends and sometimes they talk about their past loves... and they say how special each one was in their own way (sure, that's nice of course! ). i don't mean to promote stereotypes, but it's fun to stereotype.

i've observed this pattern so much that i could even believe if it's scientifically backed up, though i haven't heard of any theories. i've read that guys are more emotional than women though.

oh speaking of inheritance, my aforementioned partner with 8th house Virgo twice had opportunities. once his grandmother won a lottery and she gave him loads off of it, but back then he was an idiot punk living day-to-day and he and his GF just had money bills among piles of dog poop, buying nonsense stuff for fun (how he regrets now ).

the second time, he went to visit his estranged grandfather who was some high-rank Nazi officer during the war and so was having a pretty comfortable life after retirement, and told him he was his grandson and he would like to borrow money. the next day, he received a call informing that his grandfather had a heart attack and died immediately after he left, seemingly from the shock...

colourful life he has!

hmmm my ex was like that and he was sooo scorpionic! maybe its me leo ascendant but I love screaming about my loooove to the world! he hated that. he was very loyal, no cheating. never questioned his love, and was VERY committed from day one... but rarely posted pics of me.... NOW he is posting pics with the new girl he's hooking up with and I am wondering if it is just a scorpionic tactic to make me jealous lol, cause I know when he had something that he truly cherished he was SO private about it!
