scorpio or not if they really lost interest I dont think it is possible to get them back but if they only 'think' they've lost it then yes, you can re-attract them, why not

Understanding in part, if you had someone attracted to you at one point, all you have to do is whatever attracted that person in the 1st place. If you are wanting to play the role of partner to this person, act out their 7th house.
Or maybe not because thats a little manipulative.

Coffee, that's a good idea.

I'd start a "How to Attract Your Crush: By the Signs" thread, but I'm worried there'd just be a whole bunch of "You can't ever attract anyone by doing anything, people either are attracted to you, or they aren't" answers. I am on an astrology site because I think it would be really fun (if more for entertainment than deep instruction) to discuss what stimulates and attracts different signs, ala "Love Signs."

There are many kinds of fulfulling attractions and connections between people other than meeting One Person, having a conventional marriage, and being together till death do you part. To have a longterm relationship that is fulfilling, you need to have a combination of instant compatibility and committment.

BUT I can't believe I'm the only person who would like to feel she has skills to attract and get to know individuals who make her laugh, inspire her, make her heart flutter and her hormones rage...even if she might not want to spend her whole life with them. I'm personally not looking for a life partner right now (although I would be open to a connection transforming into that over time.) But even if I had a committed relationship, I'd STILL like to talk about how to seduce/attract/reattract/keep people interested by the sign for the sheer fun of the discussion!

Yes, it can stimulating to discuss for the sake of discussing what attracts different influences (in moderation) but why limit it to sun signs? For alot of people, that's a pretty minimal influence in this area.

Coffee- I think it's because when I'm around male friends, that switch is usually turned off, I'm in a 'friends only' zone, so it's not easy for me to determine when to turn it on..

How much space I need depends on the person and the situation. If it's a new friendship/relationship, to see each other once a week is ok ?

Scorpio guys.. I think they like girls who give off a positive vibe, and who are kind of sophisticated, cool .. they like stockings

Sure, as I said earlier, I like to look at Sun/Moon/Venus for this type of thing. It's DEFINITELY generalizing, and very different from considering a person's full chart in a nuanced way.

But, I find sun signs surprisingly accurate and relevent for this sort of thing. I've read lots of people's full charts, and in EVERY case the sun sign indicates quite a lot about:
-what attracts and excites them
-what makes them happy
This is why I adore LG's Sun and Love Signs and would expect to meet many fellow fans of that way of thinking on this site.

The sun represents your ego expression, but not neccesarily what they want in a potential partner. For instance, I know of scorpios that would like their depth to be entertained but don't always want someone just like them. I know of cancer men with gemini influencing feminine planets who prefer intelligence to daintiness any day...and that totally goes against what sun sign astrology would say they liked in a woman.

The sun's influence in this is usually very subtle and even Linda knew that, which is ironically why books like love signs and sun signs work for everyone.

I think often the Sun shows less the type of person we like than behaviors that win us over.

For instance, my Aries friend with a gigantic Taurus stellium, Cap on her DC. Her ideal guy is a foodie who loves to garden and stay at home, and likes to communicate with touch (i.e., probably a Taurus)...BUT, if someone wanted to win back her attraction after it had waned a little or hit a dry patch, he would:
-very directly, aggressively, bravely tell her exactly how he was feeling
-take her skydiving or on a flying lesson. Things that would appeal to her Aries Sun. (Once she saw a man who was interested in her who she was Just Not Into practicing karate and she learned that he was a black belt master. After that, she was totally hot for him, and she asked him out, and took him to bed that night.)

My Scorp friend, Sag Moon-Jupiter, Virgo Mars-Venus, Aries on his DC? He's attracted to Leo and Cappie women, BUT, if you wanted to win back his attraction/interest after it had waned, showing strength, space, patience, and loyalty would work...if he can see, after taking space, that you are totally honest and real and that you aren't EVER coquettish/game-playing, even when he pushes your buttons...things that appeal to his Scorpio Sun.

I don't...I'm a cancer but I prefer directness (with tact) to passive aggressiveness or those who keep beating around the bush. Its incredibly annoying to me when someone says I was completely oblivious to their advances when as far as I'm concerned: they made none at all. That would be more in line with my aries mars.

I don't know anyone at all who prefers a passive-aggressive, ambiguous, or confusing show of interest to a direct but tactful approach. And I don't think people are usually aroused or intrigued by those who exhibit the stereotypical flaws of their sun sign.

Knowing you're a Cancer, if I wanted to attract/re-intrigue you, I would:
-really, deeply listen to you--ask you about your life, memories, fantasies, dreams, with genuine interest and attention
-show you that I valued you, by showing gratitude
-be gentle but direct and clear in letting you know what I wanted emotionally, even if I was getting a weird, confusing, defensive, or prickly vibe from you
-bring you a small, subtle, lighthearted gift that I had made myself, and that showed I was really paying attention to what you liked
-give you boatloads of space while ALSO letting you know gently and clearly that I was here and interested
-hug you
-offer reassurance when you seemed to need it, without getting irritated
-when you're stressed, intuit how to help out instead of cause more stress
-show you I was stable, thoughtful, reliable, and trustworthy (by keeping my word, among other things)
-not get impatient with you

It's kinda funny you mention the whole Sun Sign projection of attraction.

I am attracted to my Leo friend because she reminds me of a Virgo, she has Mars, Mercury, Venus in Virgo and sometimes I think she is a Virgo Rising but I am not really sure.

She would be everything I would want in a girlfriend. Subtle, hopeless romantic, worry wart, traditional, sensitive, touchy feely in the uptight girl way, with a pinch of envy, very femme. I would be attracted to a very "virginal" femme according to my Mars in Virgo.

All things that I am not as a Virgo with an 8th house Leo stellium. Im still shy, nervous and cautious in all with Capricorn Rising but deep down I long to be wild and Im not strongly feminate.

On the other hand, Venus in Leo/Eros in Sag represents sexual attraction for me. I am sexually attracted to butchy butch adrogynous women that have an air of masculinity.

Mars and Venus are kind of flip flopped for me. OAO;;

CK--I'm a Leo, and most of my exes have had Mars in Virgo. (Funny, I have an 8th house stellium, Cap rising and Virgo Mars too.)

With your Leo friend, I bet you're not just attracted to her Virgoan qualities--I bet some of her (subtle) Leo qualities are also appealing to your fiery side, so she is attracting you in several different ways.

Your post brings up an interesting point--I think a lot of us are attracted to a variety of people, with different astrological makeups, appearances, and personalities...unique connections are part of what make life interesting. But I think by looking at astrology, even in a very simplistic way, we can improve our communication and emotional rapport with each other based on general tendencies. (Such as--if a woman makes an Aries guy jealous, he'll be furious and turned on and he'll chase her...if she makes a Scorp jealous, he'll be furious and maybe turned on and he'll ice her out forever and ever.)

I can totally see how those would apply on a very subtle level, I guess. I'm not really big on talking about emotional needs very often, but it can happen in the appropriate time and setting. I'm really HUGE on personal space unless I feel comfortable enough around the person. Someone I can trust is definitely a big one for me.

Overall though, I still identify primarily with my gemini venus in terms of what attracts me: mental stimulation/intelligence, talkativeness and respect for me as an individual with seperate interests, and some sort of eccentricity or quirk in a guy...I LOVE that for some reason. Normal people never pique my interest for some reason...LMAO

I relate not at all to my Cancer Venus or Virgo Mars when it comes to what attracts me in a man. Lately I'm wondering if it's because my Venus is at 29 degrees, wanting to be Leo? LOL.

Lucia- Your venus has progressed into Leo, so maybe thats why you struggle between Cancer and Leo venus.

My progressed Venus is in Virgo.

I've mostly been attracted to very witty, wild, adventurous Gemini and Libra men who are either famous or almost famous...my two long-term relationships have been with Libra rockers, LOL. In the past two years, I've been attracted to Scorpios, which never happened to me before. And I hope I go back to those air signs soon! Scorpios make my heart hurt.

Yeah, I've looked back over past crushes and realized that the eccentricity was a consistent theme. Its just a very attracting and attaching quality for me. And what works is that I'm a magnet for these types too...hooray for me! LOL
