Well, that lovely time of the year has come around again where I go on a week-long juice fast followed by a two day-long water fast.

My transits are beauuutiful IMHO. Venus/Mars/Neptune in Pisces in my 6th house. tVenus/Mars is currently squaring my nSaturn/Uranus, but i'm not too concerned.

i am a bit worried about this:

quote:
Neptune Transits the Sixth House

You are more susceptible to medications, chemicals, and other such things during this long-term cycle, so keep this in mind. Stress more easily affects your health as well. Some confusion on the job may be part of the picture, or your job may steer towards compassionate service, charity, or other helping professions. Neptune's presence here can make it more challenging to stick to routines or schedules.

Has anyone else ever gone on a pure water fast? I haven't done it yet, but this year I do want to try it. I've always stuck to juice fasting because, well, I like juice, lol. That and I always get scared of messing up somehow and ruining my health.

What transits would you look for for a good time to fast or even diet? What transits are a big STOP sign?

I don't know

But how do you do that ? Do you drink all kinds of juice ? Like tomato juice, carrot juice etc or just fruit juice ?

I'm more of the veggie type. I do like Aloe Juice, though. I already regularly take women's one-a-day tablets. It's surprisingly easy for me to find the will to fast. I do love food, but I can can turn away a nice steak for a glass of water any day.

I would say a water fast is a little extreme. Juice fasts are safe and easy to do. Water fasts are really not necessary. If you wanna flush out your system and that is why you are doing it, just do the NIACIN FLUSH with water for 24/48 hours and then go back to juice.

Please bear in mind that you need to do the juice fast for a week BEFORE you do the flush or any water fast otherwise your body will get very angry with you and you could be pretty ill with the toxin release!

Thanks for the info Lara! It's funny that you mention Niacin. I had a slight Niacin deficiency when I was a kid because I would refuse food so often, but then I found a lot of love for peanut butter and that solved everything, lol.

I really want to do a Niacin flush, but finding the materials will be difficult here in Korea. I may just do it when I'm in NY later this year.

Hi MoonPixie,

I wouldn't worry about Neptune in the 6th House as Neptune rules holistic healing and that's what your fast is all about. It also rules things like the suggestion that Lara gave you about taking precaution by not doing the water fast unless you really know what you're doing. I have the same thought that she has, I believe that doing the juice fast is quite enough. Yes, you can have water, but be very careful.
