Sun/Jup on DSC, Sun/Nept conj Chiron, Pluto on IC and Pluto conj NN are very powerful. Venus conj Vertex, Vertex conj DSC!

These last two charts look like hot and cold.

The first has an 8th house Sun (passion/transformation) afflicted by the Moon. The Sun is conjunct dreamy Neptune casting a haze on the relationship. Venus is also in the 8th, and squared by Jupiter. It seems very dynamic. Moon conjunct Jupiter in the 5th may give it a feel of fun and ease. These planets point positively in the direction of Mars (doing activities together), but square those 8th house placements making them disruptive to the relationship overall. (I think) Oooh...least aspected planet = Uranus!

The second one...
Grand Trine right off the bat. Easy Sun/Mercury trine Saturn trine Mars. Sun/Mercury is in the friendly 11th, which may make for a more friendly relationship than a mad, passionate one. Pluto's trying to fix that from the 7th. There is a masculine disrupting force in the t-square that may cause instability. Least aspected planet in this one is the Moon. Saturn in the 7th is dry and dutiful, but stable! I think this chart seems more stable overall.

I have had in my time the same type of relationship you are experiencing and I would never judge anyone.
I merely wondered if you were hankering after him because you were not in a relationship but obviously you are, so that

Thank you for your kind words.
I'm upset because our last meeting just made everything float back to the surface and I'm angry at myself for allowing it to happen. (not the meeting, the feelings)
Yeah, my mom, who happens to be a close friend of mine, said the same thing about no man deserving this.
I do try to rationalize and justify the situation but sometimes pushing it out of sight out of mind it just makes it worse.

AG, doesn't the first chart show Sun in the 7th?

Both Uranus and Neptune are the least aspected in the first chart.
The first chart is definitely all about the intensity.

Had you been missing a level of intensity in your life in general, out of curiosity ?

MVM, I burned myself pretty bad on intensity in my younger years so my goal has always been normality(not even balance) in any way, shape or form I can get it. Choosing friendship over passion is just one example.
I don't think I'm cut out for intense and tumultuous relationships and yet I crave them so!
How stupid have I been?!
I sense a transformation looming on the horizon.
Catalyst or not, this recent meeting shook me up to the core.

Maybe if the intensity is denied/avoided then it comes out in really tumultuous ways and causes a lot of trouble... maybe this guy is like a catalyst to 'befriend' the inner intensity too, and since you crave it then it is a part of you that demands attention. I don't feel all intensity has to be so bad and terrible...I think with age and open eyes, it's beautiful. Of course it can be terrible too, but you seem aware and intelligent to me, and it's possible you've outgrown some old tendencies.

I don't know, but it all sure sounds transformational! I'm sure it's difficult though

You're right. I must have thought it was in the 8th, because that chart vaguely resembles my own (where the Sun and Moon are concerned particularly), and my Sun is in the 8th. If the chart was done in whole signs house system that Sun would be in the 8th.
