Well, you never actually list which aspects it is. You just do it piecemeal in response to me. First you say there has to be a pluto aspect, so I say i had one. Then you say, no, there has to be an 8th house pluto. Since I don't know which aspects you are referring to, I suppose I can't really comment.

This doesn't take away the value of astrology, to me--I also think that psychology isn't predictive and shouldn't be used in a deterministic way. It's an interpretive art, and a very accurate predictor of INFLUENCES (when there's a full moon, there's more roadkill and emergency rooms are packed...when there's Merc retro, electronics break), just not of the complex ways we will respond to and interact with those influences.

I did a lot of research about eclipses during this time (as someone on this thread proclaimed a death omen, which has now been erased), and came to understand that an eclipse will make the degree it hits, sensitive for the same amount of years as minutes the eclipse lasts. This one was 6 min and 39 seconds, so this point should be sensitive for a little over 6 years.

To my point - Nothing dramatic happened on the exact day of the eclipse, but two potentially life altering changes or adventures were set in motion within days of it. One for me and one for my fiance. Any time a planet has hit this degree, 29 cancer, something related to these two events happens. It's like clockwork. It will certainly be interesting to watch what unfolds over the next several years. Currently mars was the last planet to hit the degree which was around the time both the events saw traction. As soon as mars went retrograde things for both went a little haywire, but seem to be playing out to be back on track by mid march, which happens to be when mars will go direct again, at less than a degree away from the eclipse point.

My finance was recruited back to an old job that he had been laid off from a year before (ironic enough on an eclipse as well). It has put him in a place to be very supportive financially, so that could be the 8th house part of my experience of this eclipse in play.

Mine is a new career effort that was not at all planned or intended, but things snowballed and I realized a couple of months ago that I took a decisive action towards this career very shortly after the eclipse. It's hard to tell when I mentally decided to give it a try, since I wasn't linking this very subtle chain of events to anything astrologically. It very well could have been on the eclipse though.

You are right about things happening when a planet transits that point. I always tell people that things don't usually happen immediately, although they can.
