Done this all my life and only need to close the eyes anytime to see it. It is more like I have entered into another dimension or something and it looks very real, 3d in full color. There is also another place in the center of my head that see things in the same way but not with my eyes with my mind. I thought everyone did this but maybe not.
Music, voices there is always a background noise going on. I have woken up in the morning hearing voices clear as day telling me something and then they disappear. That can be eery when you are the only one in the house. This is definately a Pisces thing. My Neptune is in the 7th house in Scorpio conj Venus and the Moon. Also Mars is in the 12th house of Pisces. IP: Logged |

this definitely smacks of telepathy for me...if anyone has read the FOUR-GATED CITY by doris lessing, she has a character there who is periodically hospitalized and medicated because she hears people talking to her from inside the walls of her house. once back home and off the meds, she hears them again...it turns out that she is not crazy at all but receiving auditory communications...which leads to the end of the book where after a nuclear holocaust she and others like her are the communication network for the human race (who are isolated in pockets around the world with no manmade communications...)i also sometimes see THROUGh my closed eyelids, not visions but the actual environment i am in. ? " **many sound wave frequencies travel further under water than they do thru air .. bass frequencies will travel through solid materials ..
ac units have air ducts and fans and electric motors .. all of which can produce pitched sound waves ..
( the air ducts acting like 'wind instruments' )
anything that oscillates will produce a pitched sound of somesort ..
listen carefuly and you could hear the central processor in older computers .. ditto for some comp. monitors ..
ditto for the hard drive mechanisms ..
central heating systems are great for making voice like sounds ..
1) .. ask yourself how a single loudspeaker is capable of reproducing the sound of a full orchestra ..
all those timbres and frequencies at once .. via one simple paper cone ..
answer in part .. the brain will fill in the missing pieces ..
2) .. another strangeness .. bass frequencies and high frequencies will alter pitch with distance and volume ..
early problems with mega volume rock concerts was the fact that the band could sound way out of tune to some in the audience .. or the band could sound way out of tune to other band members on stage .. due to the volume ..
1 and 2 are from " loudspeakers for musicians" by vivian capel .. i'd quote it directly but i no longer have the book . must be plenty of potential acoustic phenomena that could account for hearing external 'voices' .. or 'music' ..

absolutley no thought was given to the nature of acoustics during the GU 'debates' ..

HD i have experienced the volume/pitch distortion thing for years. last loud gig i went to, same thing, on one side of the room the whole band sounded like they were playing in a different key than on another side...and onstage i used to have terrible trouble with fluctuating sound. however i also have trouble with one ear in daily life, so i have always assumed it was a physical problem in me.IP: Logged |
