mblover;Yes my moms moon is in a fixed sign. It's in Scorpio. She has done the smoking to not smoking thing as well. She also has an ability to totally shut someone completely out of her life once she decides that she doesn't want them in it. It's pretty amazing the control she has. Thanks, Gypsee  ...And not to completely SPAM this thread with my posts, but I am recalling the male Virgos I know. I had a Cancer boyfriend with a Virgo Venus who was really kinky. Most Virgo male Suns I know have an inherent kinkiness about them sexually, as in fetishistic kinkiness. I guess you'd have to look at their whole chart though to know for sure....mostly I get along really well with Virgo males, and can laugh for hours on end. Their Suns fall into my 5th. But even then I am not often romantically interested.
For example, I have a Virgo male now, with an Aries moon like me, who's trying to woo me and I am SO NOT INTERESTED. He seems like he's got some weird hat fetish maybe, every time I wear my fedora he gets all excited and his face turns red, and I wonder if he's imagining me dancing Fosse-style in the nude or something  IP: Logged |

The constellations of Libra and Scorpius were part of a great Scorpion constellation Libra constellation was the Scorpion's Claws Alpha Libra is Zuben Elgenubi which is Arabic for "Northern Claw" Beta Libra is Zuben Eschamali which is Arabic for "Southern Claw"
I have Mercury in alignment with that star.

Gypsee,Your mom is my astro twin LOL. I have been told by a few folk that I am "cold hearted" for being able to freeze them out once I decide I'm done. I agonize over the decision but once I'm truly fed up with someone and decided to eradicate them from my life, it's like they are dead to me. Gypsee,I had guessed.. that makes our Moms quite similar then .. My mom is a 11th house Virgo with Sco Moon/Rising. Super Friendly and an amazing personality. She's never private about anything (but very private in herself). Always active. She is possessive of me at the highest level. Her will power is very strong. I love her. a friend who has most of his planets in Virgo is like that. no one would EVER guess from his harmless and light-hearted friendly attitude, and i don't think anyone knows, that he practices sadistic bondage sex. and moreover, the control he forces himself when he thinks he needs abstinence (for reasons he makes up according to his logic) can be amazing.IP: Logged |

Had to jump in on this conversation...To actually add to this conversation, I will say this: Virgos are very dual like the other mutable signs. We just hide our bad or alternately our good side better. For me it depends on the group I'm with. I have quite a few friends who think I'm more "bad" than I actually am because I tend to use my sexuality to my advantage and because I like to have fun (5th house Aries moon). I also have quite a few friends that think I'm more "good" than I actually am because I can keep my head down, do my work, and am overall an upstanding person. I don't know about the rest of the Virgos, but for me it's about playing with the rules of image and morality. I like for people to not really have a true hold on who am, because who I am can change, though I like to think my current self is a logical extension of who I was. quote:

Agreed. I also have an Aries Moon with a Scorpio rising... Scorpios don't really manipulate me so much though. We just intuitively understand each other. Lol at MVM and the manipulating self comment.  quote:

Nope. None of that stuff at all. Virgos are very good at just cutting off once we've decided to walk away. I refuse to bow to that kind of crap because I always have a very good reason for walking away from someone (dishonesty, cheating, etc) and once they've crossed that line I don't look back no matter how much they beg. It's a waste of my energy to give time to someone who has already proved themselves untrustworthy. I am forgiving of people, but just because I forgive them doesn't mean I have to be around them and keep putting up with their behavior. IP: Logged |
