Hey guys,
Robert Wilkinson, from Aquarius Papers is getting ready to post a new article about the eclipse on July 21st. But until then, here is one of his older articles, I guess to hold everyone until he posts the new one...

The Solar Eclipse - What Does It Mean and How Do They Affect Our Lives

by Robert Wilkinson

Though it is still a few weeks off, today we revisit an article on the influence of The Solar Eclipse. These are important "footprints in time," as they set many things into major motion, shutting down some of the "lights" in our lives while opening us to other distant "lights," thus creating needed space for our personal evolution. They are not to be feared, though they do bring radical change and life transformations.

Since we have two Solar Eclipses each year and they usually affect us for years after they occur, it may be good to explore what they actually mean and how their influence works. This article expands on some things I've offered before about these recurring important stellar events, both regarding the myth and the reality. Historically, an eclipse, whether Solar or Lunar, is one of the most dreaded events in all of astrology.

Tables of various eclipse cycles have been kept since antiquity in several cultures, and it is said that the ancient Babylonians had eclipse tables over a 500,000 year period. Traditional thinking says that when the shadow of an eclipse falls on a nation or people, it is assumed to have dire consequences for the future of that nation. Historically, more than not this is accurate. Without this becoming a boring recitation of different empires crashing under the weight of their own excesses rather than an astronomical phenomenon, I will remind you that an astrological event does not make anything happen, correlations notwithstanding. That being said...

There are many cycles of eclipses, some recurring relatively frequently, some taking decades, even centuries to recur. The ancients felt that its shadow signified the passing from power of a ruling family or dynasty, the invasion of the nation by hostile foreign powers, the death of an era, even famine, drought, or pestilence. They indicate the shadowing of the "great light" by another object that obscures the greater light, if only momentarily. So an eclipse blocks the light of the Sun for a period of time, usually a few minutes, during which the skies go dark and we can see other, fainter light coming from stars we wouldn't ordinarily see.

This is certainly true of a total eclipse, and to a lesser degree during partial eclipses. The ancients also thought that the number of hours a Solar Eclipse lasts over a nation shows the number of years it would suffer affliction, and the number of hours a Lunar Eclipse lasts shows the number of months it will suffer. But of course, that doesn't happen in our ultra-rationalistic, left-brain reality any more, right?

Well, leaving aside any argument of causality, I have found that where an eclipse falls in a birth chart corresponds with something ending in that part of the life. Whatever house it occurs in is where something is about to end in a significant way. If the eclipse conjuncts a planet, expect to see endings in that old planetary psychological function. And of course, it will affect the houses ruled by any planet it touches.

If an eclipse conjuncts your Venus, you may assume that sooner or later you will confront the end of an old way of enjoying life, an old value, or an old relationship. You will see this work out in the houses ruled by Taurus and Libra. If it conjuncts Mercury, an old mindset or perception or interpretation that was a significant part of your life will pass away through the life areas ruled by Gemini and Virgo. If an eclipse conjuncts your Saturn, an old important responsibility, obligation, hinderance, or fear will leave the life as seen in the areas of life (houses) ruled by Capricorn and Aquarius.

If the eclipse affects the Moon, expect the ending of an old habit or way of experiencing life and the affairs of the house where you have Cancer. If Mars, an old hassle or quarrel will end, or there will be a hassle as a result of an ending in the houses ruled by Aries and Scorpio. If Jupiter, an old vision, philosophical view, or an obsolete moral stance affecting the houses with Sagittarius and Pisces on the cusp. If the eclipse falls on your Sun, expect the end of the light in some way, or perhaps the passing of an old life order. It will most affect the house with Leo on the cusp.

So it primarily shows as an ending in the house in which it falls. It shows as an ending of a psychological function if it conjuncts a planet, and this works out through the houses ruled by the planet it touches. Of course, if it affects a planet, it also affects all the other planets that are connected to the eclipsed planet by sign rulership, i.e., if an eclipse conjuncts your Venus, it will naturally affect whatever planets you have in Taurus or Libra.

Here it is useful to remember that in a chart all the planets represent important people in your life, both past and present. If an eclipse conjuncts your Jupiter, expect a relationship with a Jupiterian, Sagittarius, or Pisces to end, or go through such a radical change that it will seem like you're relating to an entirely different person.

The same with Saturn and the rest. When an eclipse conjuncts your Saturn, it usually signifies the passing of an elder, someone in a position of power in your life, or someone who kept you under a limitation or fear. So even an eclipse can be beneficial in that it can remove obsolete elements in your life, or people that no longer symbolize who you really are, or who you have become since you originally met them.

Eclipses occur several times a year, and not all eclipses are equally influential. Yet they all indicate coming endings, obscurations, passings, maybe even deaths, both literal and metaphoric. We always are under the influence of more than one from the past, and always have others coming within a few months, due to the conjunctions with the Moon's Nodes.

One more thing to note: a Solar eclipse is a New Moon, while a Lunar eclipse is a Full Moon. Like all lunations, the Full Moon brings to form the promise of the seed represented by the New Moon. Eclipses work the same way, but are considered more influential over a longer period. Still, the basic relationship of the lunations to each other conforms to the general pattern, which may be helpful in understanding how the energetics work.

so only conjunctions are significant? what about oppositions and other less obvious aspects? asking because this one is very close to opposing my jupiter. it only conjuncts my camelot...! and don't know how significant that might be?

i wonder what effect it has in the houses. i or no one close to me will have their planets or point conjunct by the eclipse Sun (well, except i have a 5 degree conjunction to my Vertex, i guess i should keep it in mind, it's not too tight but not too wide either).

it will be in my 8th house. it is ruled by cancer. i checked my mother's chart and it will be in her 6th house, which alarms be for she has been going through a cancer treatment.

I found this on Cafeastrology about how it will affect us, depending on the house it hits....

About the Solar Eclipse on July 21, 2009
A total Solar Eclipse occurs on July 21, 2009, at 10:35 PM EDT at 29 degrees and 27 minutes of Cancer. Its effects can be felt up to six months after the actual date of the eclipse. In the Moon-ruled sign of Cancer, domestic issues, family, personal popularity, the public, women's interests, safety, security, food, support, our past/roots/heritage, and emotional issues will be a strong focus on a personal level. This eclipse is about new beginnings regarding all of these matters.

Occurring in the symbolic last degree of Cancer, we are called upon to feed our foundation--all of that which we call "home", including the foundation we have built inside of ourselves, needs to be tended to and honored. We need to pay attention to our instincts, our deepest needs, and our feelings; and to recognize the importance of our family and our personal circle of friends and the security, sense of belonging, and safety we derive from them. We are called upon to get in touch with our vulnerability and our needs for intimacy, as well as opening ourselves up to accepting support from others; to offer and show support for others, without a hidden agenda; and we might begin a new project that involves improving the home itself, or improving domestic life in general.

With this potent Cancer energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives that will benefit us well beyond this Moon cycle. For some of us, circumstances are such that we need to pay more attention to these matters. Some of Cancer's "lessons" involve learning to feed our souls, to honor our innermost feelings, and to get in touch with our vulnerability and dependency on others. We are reminded of our support system and our need for a sense of safety and security. If we focus too much on achieving our career objectives at the expense of building a solid sense of personal satisfaction, we eventually become ineffective both personally and professionally. Why? Because our push for results on a professional level will not bring us long-term success if we don't know what it is we need for ourselves on a personal level.

Flaws in an important system in our lives are revealed around the time of the eclipse, prompting us to redo or to start fresh. Something ends in order for something else to start anew. We may be called to give up something in order to move forward into a new chapter in our lives. Although the "new" may be unrecognizable, it is important to allow the necessary surrender to the unknown.

The eclipse point itself is trine Uranus, suggesting that we need to "expect the unexpected", to be flexible, and to trust that change is necessary. The harmonious trine suggests it may be natural to do these things. However, it is also inconjunct Pluto, indicating some struggle with the adjustments that need to be made in order to further our psychological growth.

An eclipse occurs close to the nodal axis, and this eclipse is conjunct the South Node. This suggests that we may be hesitant about making changes, preferring to cling to the past. Letting go of something that has been holding us back is likely to figure. Eclipses conjuncting the South Node tend to "feel" more challenging than those conjuncting the North Node, at least initially, as we are called upon to give up or release something, and to move out of a familiar place or a comfort zone.

Major developments in the personal areas ruled by Cancer in our charts are likely to occur over the course of the next 3-6 months. However, because this is the first in a series of eclipses falling in Cancer-Capricorn, we can extend this range much further. The last eclipse falling along this axis will occur in January 2011. Not everyone will feel the effect of the eclipse with the same intensity. Those whose personal planets are activated by the degree of the eclipse will most feel its effects on a personal level.

This phase of the Moon occurs at 29 degrees and 27 minutes of Cancer, affecting people born with personal planets and points at 25 to 30 degrees of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), and 0 to 5 degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) most significantly.

The chart above shows the other planets' positions at the time of the eclipse.

Solar eclipses occurred at approximately the same degree as this July 2009 eclipse on July 20, 1963; July 22, 1971; July 20, 1982; and July 22, 1990. It might help to think back to these periods and consider the themes that surrounded your life then in order to get a better understanding of what the current eclipse series might mean for you.

If this eclipse stimulates your 1st-7th house axis, you are called upon to strike a balance between relationship and self. Issues of personal courage, confidence, and independence come to the fore over the next year. You may, for example, receive a cosmic push towards expressing yourself more creatively (especially if 29 Cancer is in the first house), and experience an increased drive to take charge of your life. Issues surrounding personal appearance, the body, and one's image become especially important and, in some cases, critical. Basically, you will be learning to stand on your own two feet! This sequence of eclipses will alert you to the need to interact with others--either the public, or through a close partnership (especially if 29 Cancer is in the seventh house). For some, marriage or divorce will be an issue. For most, carving out a personal identity that includes a significant other who furthers their own personal growth will come into focus. The July eclipse should give you a push towards a stronger identity or sense of purposefulness through close partnership.

If this eclipse stimulates your 2nd-8th house axis, you will be called upon to strike a balance between your own needs for security and comfort and the same needs of other people, likely those of a significant other. If 29 Cancer is in the second house, personal finances will come into strong focus. How well have you taken care of your finances? More importantly, have you taken charge of your personal sense of security? If 29 Cancer is in the eighth house, issues of sexuality and spirituality may be a stronger focus. In either case, issues of shared resources, sexuality, and possessions are featured. With this eclipse, it's time to start fresh with regards to how you go about satisfying your needs for security and comfort. If 29 Cancer is in the second house, take charge of your life by taking the necessary steps to make yourself feel good and secure. You are called upon to make a stand and to tend to your comfort levels. If you do so, the positive effects will ricochet back into your intimate life. If you continue to tend to your partner's comfort levels while ignoring your own, feelings of resentment and neglect can infect your relationships. Get in touch with what feels most comfortable for you, and the intimacy level in your relationship will step up a notch. If 29 Cancer is in the eighth house, you are learning about the comfort levels of others. Essentially, you are learning to share and to surrender yourself (in a balanced manner!) to intimacy.

If the 3rd-9th house axis is stimulated by this eclipse, issues surrounding learning and sharing knowledge will come to the fore. For some, issues surrounding attention to one's immediate environment, and branching out and beyond it, are stimulated. If 29 Cancer is in the third house, you are receiving a cosmic push to become more active in your immediate environment (neighborhood, with siblings/relatives, etc.), and/or to learn and communicate facts that fuel your opinions. If 29 Cancer is in the ninth house, you will be learning to expand your horizons, either through contact with people from an entirely different background than yours, travel, or higher learning. Your personal philosophy will be changing, and this eclipse gives you a push towards adopting beliefs that truly work for you in the real world. Other possible issues stimulated include transportation and mobility (for example, some may be learning to depend on others for getting from point A to point B, and others may be learning to take charge of their own mobility), running errands and tending to one's daily life effectively, and learning about one's need for self-expression through adventure.

If the 4th-10th house axis is stimulated by this eclipse, issues surrounding public and private lives, as well as attention to career and to family, are stimulated. The fourth house rules our instinctual needs, the domestic scene, our needs for security, and our focus on family and home life as well as relationships with family. The tenth house rules our needs for status, our career and reputation, our worldly ambitions, structure, and our drive for success. Striking a balance between these issues is the focus of this sequence of eclipses. If 29 Cancer is in the fourth house, it's time to take steps to improve your family and home life. This eclipse is the first cosmic push for you to take charge of your private life. If 29 Cancer is in the tenth house, you are called upon to pay more attention to your career and public life, and to take charge of this important part of your life. Either way, this can play out in a number of ways. Some may have to make some critical decisions due to situations in the life that force them to make choices between career and family goals. Some people are promoted or their career takes a new direction (especially if an eclipse occurs close to the Midheaven). The challenge is to find a healthy balance--to improve home life, while at the same time tending to one's career needs.

If this eclipse stimulates your 5th-11th house axis, social activity is the focus. The need to be appreciated by others, and the need for togetherness with others, comes into play. A love affair may begin or end under this influence. New contacts with others may also occur. If 29 Cancer is in the fifth, you will learn to let go of a fear of taking risks, and to develop the courage to strike out on your own individual and creative path without fear. You are called upon to deal with others in a more personal, involved, and loving manner, rather than falling back on reason and intellect, which detaches you from your feelings. This series of eclipses is about learning to take personal risks, which requires a certain amount of self-confidence. If 29 Cancer is in the eleventh, you will be learning about letting go of your attachment to the drama of romance and personal relationships, as well as your willfulness. You are called upon to learn about the value of the team. You may need to give freedom to your romantic partner instead of expecting him or her to follow a script of your own making. You learn the value of brotherly love and the benefits of a sense of belonging to a community. Events are such that you move towards a more objective approach to your life and you cultivate true friendships.

If this eclipse stimulates your 6th-12th house axis, issues of work and service, as well as health (both mental/spiritual, and physical), come into focus. If 29 Cancer is in the sixth house, you are called upon to deal with the the details and practicalities of everyday life, to become more organized, and to take charge of your routines. It's time to formulate some clear goals and plans. Circumstances are such that you need to develop some healthy habits, routines, and schedules. Believing in a grand plan is fine, but practical concerns need to be dealt with as well. Recognizing your personal limitations in terms of just how much you can give to others and just how much compassion and understanding you can show is essential now. It's time to structure your life. If 29 Cancer is in the twelfth house, over the next year you are called upon to rid yourself of guilt about under-performing, and to develop faith and trust in a larger more spiritual plan. It's time to let go of some of your fears that you are not doing enough, to develop more compassion and understanding of others, and to be humble, feeling safe in the knowledge that you (and others) are not perfect. It's time to let go of some of your obsessions with rules, details, and fears of not doing things perfectly. When this axis is stimulated, issues of guilt, worry, and anxiety become paramount.

Here’s hoping it throws a job in my direction! <takes a shot of the strongest liquor in the cabinet>

29 Cancer is in my 6th house…But…I have Venus at 0 degrees Leo which is usually interpreted in the 7th house (1 degree 13’) but sometimes the 6th.

What I need is a job, structure, more than anything else right now. It can be the start of a chain reaction:

Job -> more money->can actually afford to go out and meet people->meeting people, potential matches…

So, I’m really keeping my fingers crossed for that job!

Great articles. I have Jupiter (my chart ruler) at 29 degrees Cancer in my 8th so should be interesting to see if anything happens! I don't have any strong feeling of something coming so maybe nothing needs to end or change right now for me.

I guess the 8th can mean something ending for a partner. My significant other has been trying to get out of his line of work for a couple years and there are some options starting to open up for him. I'll cross my fingers this is what is happening in my chart.

Hey guys,
Julie Demboski has a really excellent article about the eclipse on her website. I would post the entire article, but she is kind of funny about people posting her articles on message boards, etc. So if you have time, please read it on her website:

I don't like this!

My Venus is at 29 degr. in the eleventh.

but...what the hell has the North Node to do with all of this??
Doesn't we have to move forward to the fifth?
(because its NN-placement is there)

There's something here I really don't get...

Robert Wilkinson/Aquarius Papers finally posted their Eclipse article. I thought this part was interesting, "we can assume we will see developments related to this Eclipse on August 25-26 when Venus transits 30 Cancer, and certainly major developments will be set into motion in mid-October, when Mars crosses 30 Cancer."

I'm with IQ on this one....I plan to meditate in violet through the eclipse period and after. It never hurts to practice violet visualization for protection from dark energy and entities. Remember to imbue any manifesting ritual with the intention being in your highest good, or for the greater good.

The Solar Eclipse at 30 Cancer July 21-22, 2009 - What Are Its Effects?
by Robert Wilkinson

This Solar Eclipse will have a huge impact on everyone. All eclipses shut something down, taking away elements of our lives no longer true for us. Cancer is the sign of home, family, and intimate feelings. It is how Capricorn, the sign of personal authority, externalizes. So a form of our personal past or how we define our needs will end, with the void sure to attract new forms of expressing this energy.

This Total Solar Eclipse occurs at 7:35 pm PDT on July 21, which is 10:35 am EDT and 3:35 am Greenwich on July 22, 2009. It puts 24 Sagittarius rising on Maui, 6 Capricorn rising in Vancouver, BC, 23 Capricorn rising in Santa Monica, and 17 Pisces on the Ascendant in Washington DC. We find 11 Cancer rising in London and 15 Cancer rising in Amsterdam putting the Eclipse in the first house. This is sure to be of major significance in shutting things down and opening things up in the UK and Western Europe!

Moving east around the world, Johannesburg has 25 Gemini rising, and Tallinn has 7 Leo on the Ascendant. Istanbul has 25 Cancer rising, putting the Eclipse almost exactly conjunct the Ascendant. Expect major developments in that part of the world as well!

Baghdad has 5 Leo rising. Trivandrum has 26 Leo on the Ascendant, New Delhi has 1 Virgo, and Bangkok has 20 Virgo rising. Perth has 7 Libra on the Ascendant, Tokyo has 24 Libra, and Melbourne, Australia has 21 Scorpio rising.

In eclipse lore, where the Eclipse is visible will be where the greatest effects can be expected, lasting the number of years that the eclipse is long in hours. This one is 3 hours 25 minutes, thus making it a player in the events of 2012.

From NASA, this total Eclipse of the Sun

... is visible from within a narrow corridor that traverses half of Earth. The path of the Moon's umbral shadow begins in India and crosses through Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and China. After leaving mainland Asia, the path crosses Japan's Ryukyu Islands and curves southeast through the Pacific Ocean where the maximum duration of totality reaches 6 min 39 s. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes most of eastern Asia, Indonesia, and the Pacific Ocean.

Besides the factor of where the shadow falls, Eclipses are said to be most powerful when they conjunct the Sun, Moon, Ascendant, or Midheaven of a chart. They always bring endings, but these can be of great benefit in clearing away old life factors that have no place in our future. As it was once sung, "something's lost and something's gained in living every day..."

In another example of how a loss can work to great benefit, if it conjuncts the Saturn in a birth chart, it can indicate the ending of old, lesser responsibilities, limitations, or fears, and open the being to a greater sense of purpose. If it conjuncts Jupiter, then it could show the ending of an old philosophy or belief system and open the gates to something far greater.

Given a Solar Eclipse is a New Moon, then like all lunations that work their influence over time, it's triggered by subsequent transits to those points. Thus we can assume we will see developments related to this Eclipse on August 25-26 when Venus transits 30 Cancer, and certainly major developments will be set into motion in mid-October, when Mars crosses 30 Cancer. We can also assume that "permanent changes" will be in play by the time Mars goes stationary direct at 1 Leo in March 2010, sitting for weeks within one degree of the Eclipse point.

This Eclipse is conjunct the South Node at 1 Leo, showing the focus to be on releasing or demonstrating what we know. The Moon, ruling the Eclipse, is particularly potent in focusing the energies. Thus domestic issues, family, security, supply, sources of nurture, and feelings in general will be the focus of this eclipse.

Build new lines of supply, new personality structures, new ways of securing safe conditions, and new ways of relating to family. Find a form of tradition that you can live with, and/or break free of old traditions that no longer serve your emotional needs.

The end of a sign is said to be the "spiritual area" of that sign. This eclipse falls in the last degree of Cancer. Cancer is the sign of foundations, of the roots that yield flowers in Capricorn. Thus this eclipse calls us to examine our roots, tending our foundations, focusing on our family, both literal and metaphoric. We will lose connections with elements of our past, but can also establish the foundations of future relationships with those who could become family to us.

This Eclipse will transform our intimate lives, our intimate feelings, and our intimate relations, both internal and external. This will help us end that which no longer nurtures us or what we need in order to uphold a standard we've relied on for however long. This can help us find support, or show support for others in our intimate circle. Of course, it will also end some previously intimate relationships that no longer accurately reflect our innermost needs and foundations.

This Eclipse is also notable in that it falls within the Cancer zone of the Grand Irrationality, indicating this Eclipse will show as major forks in the road of destiny for everyone it impacts. It is septile Mars and triseptile the Aquarius stellium of Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune. It is closer to a semisquare to Saturn and quincunx to Pluto, even though these are biseptile.

The septile series aspects taken together imply that there are cooperative collective enterprises coming that involve managing energies that are unfamiliar, but which open extra strengths that help us come out of reflexive knee-jerk reactivity. Our willingness to approach solving problems from different angles can help us release power through disciplined feelings, showing us a new capacity to deliver forms of spiritual power.

The Eclipse semisquare Saturn will surely put many at an inner crisis in areas where we must set aside old limitations, fears, and responsibilities and embrace a cooperative friendly competition to maximize group efforts. This will impact many relationships, as Venus is square to Saturn. Many will move, physically or psychically, reorienting on the basis of whatever wisdom form is revealed from our "Master."

The Lunation is quincunx Pluto, showing hard adjustments that will break many free from their past, or corrosive elements that need reorganizing because they've resisted core changes before now. This will force changes in what we're faithful to, and help us release things in dramatic ways or through dramatic developments.

Mars is a very strong influence in this Eclipse due to it being in the Gemini zone of the Grand Irrationality triseptile Pluto and biseptile Saturn. It's on a degree of cultivating faith while doing what is simple and natural to find hidden nourishment. Spiritualizing influences include Venus novile the Eclipse and Mercury novile Saturn while septile Venus.

When we include the very harmonious and stabilizing trines of the Eclipse to Uranus and Venus to the Aquarius stellium, we can see that much benefit will come through our ability to achieve closure on old lesser habits to open ways of managing our feelings within a larger context. Also that many fortunate meetings will come that open us to seed knowledge that could be the foundation for future spiritual breakthroughs.

Because of the trines, anyone with planets in the later degrees of any sign should do fairly well, though people with planets or sensitive points around 17-21 of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces may experience disruptions in their relationships, values, or possessions. This Eclipse will certainly precipitate major changes in these areas, as well as those with dysfunctional Taurus, Libra, Capricorn, or Aquarius sectors. The solution would be to stop behaviors indicative of dysfunctional Venus-Saturn approaches while embracing harmonious Gemini-Aquarius energy forms.

As with all celestial events at present, Saturn opposition Uranus is still showing major polarizations between past and future, the old and the new, fear and freedom, the established and the innovative, and restrictive limitations opposed to Divine Law. This opposition in all our charts have yielded both realizations and polarizations in the houses in which they fall.

Saturn is direct, showing us lessons we've finished and skills to practice within this larger Virgo-Pisces oppositional phase that began August 2008. These types of lessons persist through May of 2010, when the energies shift into long term Libra and Aries oppositions lasting until June 2011.

In general, this opposition symbolizes the larger conflict between the forces of practical service and willful deception on a global level, polarizing progressive dreamers and those who would enslave the future in an avalanche of details, worries, fears, and criticisms.

Since things always exteriorize through their opposing signs, we can use Saturn to express the Uranus in Pisces energies of rebirth within a collective setup. Saturn shows we are being educated in a social context to be discriminating as to how, when, and where we accept responsibility while dissolving old ambivalences and ghosts that brought us sorrow.

We are learning about core values we will uphold for years to come as expressions of forms of hope and learning how to be touched in different ways than we've known before. You can find out more about the Saturn opposition Uranus in this article. Given that Saturn is now triseptile the Aquarius stellium and biseptile Mars and Pluto you can also find more from recent articles on the Grand Irrationality.

The Grand Irrationality is an influence to be reckoned with as we navigate the Eclipse effects these next 3+ years. More forks in the road for all of us, individually and collectively. More radical choices and changes, more confronting obsessive-compulsive behaviors in self and others, more widespread strangeness as we move into unknown zones of a higher future destiny than we've known up to now. It's certainly a major fork in the road for all of humanity!

I'll be writing more in the near future about this important Solar Eclipse and its effect on each individual sign, since it will impact all of us for years to come. For now, you may want to go back and re-read some past eclipse articles to get a sense of the larger forces at work the past few years. You'll find a lot of information at The Solar Eclipse of August 1, 2008 - Long Range Transfiguration, Tears of Joy.

Besides commenting on that eclipse, there are links to eclipses past that are still in full effect in all our lives in a big way. It may explain why some areas of our lives have been shut down the past few years and will continue to be over the next few years. In the article "The Solar and Lunar Eclipses of August and September 2007" you'll find links to earlier eclipses that still impact us.
