Please dont look like kim kardashian. I dont care how beautiful she is. she is a tramp.from a guys perspective.. I have always been concerned with how I look. at times I think I look great but at other times I think I look ugly. I try to take very good care of myself. venus is a powerful planet in my chart and I also have a libra moon. I only think I look good certain ways.. idk its hard to explain. like from certain angles. I have a T square between Venus my ASC and my saturn uranus conjunction.. I think this has something to do with my appearence problems.. on another note I sort of have an identity crisis. Whenever I think of myself.. I think of petite and small and sort of the little guy archetype. but then when I see myself in pictures and so on I see that I am bigger then most at 6'3 and it kinda is shocking and doesnt agree with my mind.. messed up huh? lol. I am suprised that there are not many more guys on this forum...I find the discussion quite interesting actually.
I think with the current "Adonis wave" that is apparaent in movies, guys are becoming more conscious of their looks and physical appearance.Speaking for myself, there are days when I feel sexy and then on some other days when I feel less than. This beauty culture we have is now teaching guys to be more concerned with looks more n than ever; whether this is from the woman they are with or from themselves. Sag sun

Part of Beauty, O.K, I calculated that, it is hidden away in the 12th house in Libra.It does seem right. It's not connected strongly to the rest of my chart. It just stays in the 12th, lurking in my subconscious, caring that I dress in something that suits me and tries to make a little bit of an effort. Clothes and appearance aren't really at the forefront of my mind much. I dress depending on mood, also quite 12th house. Sometimes a bit quirky but I hope not inappropriate, but maybe sometimes that does happen. My Venus is Square the Nodes, maybe I should point that out. I don't really care about fashion and will just wear what I like. I would always make a conscious effort for someone's funeral. I wouldn't want to insult them by not looking smart. IP: Logged |

Please explain what a tramp is. And I have the same problem you have. I only look good from certain angles, and when I think I look good and take a picture of myself, I end up looking horrible  I also have a tsquare with my ASC, Venus and Saturn/Uranus conjunction. downtomars. thats fine. Im sure you look very cute.amowls. I have venus in 18 Gemini. My asc is my apex at 19 virgo. I think it might just be a mental thing im sure we both look good in all ways.. im sure as time goes by we learn to love the way we look just like others love the way we look. do you get told you look good? Tramp is a woman who is promiscuous. Heh heh.This is an interesting discussion. My ex is most vain person I know. He has Virgo Sun, Libra Venus and Moon in the 5th house, and Gemini Ascendant. If you touch his hair he will freak out and run to the nearest mirror, and his emphasis on appearances is almost disgusting to a virgo venus/cap moon like me. His PoB is 22 degrees Cancer. Hm, I don't know if the PoB has a bearing on anything. His Narcissus doesn't reveal anything either. Also for downtomars it is a very wide orb. I think a lot of pluto or scorpio placements can negate preoccupations with physical appearance, unless they are placed in vain signs/houses (like Aries, Libra or Leo, 1st or 5th or 7th houses). My ex has no aspects to Pluto, except for a conjunction to Venus in Libra. I have a Leo friend who never wears makeup or dresses up, but she has a Scorpio moon and several aspects to Pluto in Scorpio. Another Leo friend has Moon and Venus in Libra, Asc. in Aries, and only one aspect to Pluto in the 7th house. He is also curiously vain (I've never seen anyone do so many self-portraits). A vain person I know with a lot of Scorpio placements has Pluto in Leo square Mars, and Venus conjunct Sun. My sister was vain but it lessened as she grew older (she is an intense person though, can draw people to her). She has a Libra Sun and Pluto with a Scorpio moon. My brother isn't really vain I don't think, but he wanted to be a model when he was a teenager. He also has a Libra Sun and Pluto (I haven't done his chart though so that is all I know). One other case is a woman who was vain and also promiscuous when she was younger, but grew out of it (she is still one of the sexiest women I know... I learned a lot about how to be a woman from her). She has a Libra Sun conj Jupiter, Libra Moon, Venus conjunct Pluto in Virgo, and Scorpio Ascendant. IP: Logged |

There are lots of people with POB conj Asc or in the 12th, 1st or 2nd house. It makes me wonder about the formula...hmm...ASC+Venus-Sun...Well, the Sun and Venus are usually pretty close so the formula doesn't allow for major swings around the wheel... Narcissus is in Sag in the 11th house, so Im vain about my friends' beliefs?..Even though I have friends with a wide range of beliefs from Wiccan to Christian..Also it squares my Sun, I wouldn't say vain because I feel ugly and always have but this in itself can become a problem i.e extreme self hatred, there are days when being a boy might be more acceptable to me. If you have Venus on the Descendant, and the Sun is the 7th house on the cusp of the 8th, where should the Part of Beauty be located? The answer I got made sense.

What does the part of beauty actually mean though? That you are beautiful (an entirely subjective thing) or that you feel you are beautiful, that physical beauty is important to you? My PoB isn't near my ascendant, it is in the 2nd house inconjunct Uranus. It would be interesting to see a study on this actually. Google certainly doesn't know anything. hahaIP: Logged |

Personally, I've always been the athletic type, I never really put too much into appearances ... so it came to my surprise that I have:Arabic Po beauty: 23 aries (orb 3, cnj my ac)
Narcissus: 21 scorpio (orb 1, cnj my venus) My 7th house Venus suffers from opposing 2nd house (taurus Rx) Jupiter and being conjunct Pluto The only time I felt the need to dress up and put make up on (alot more then the usual minimum) was when Venus was retrograding around my AC, Lust, ERos and Mars 6 or so months ago (can't remember)
