What does "For Life" mean?
And we're both not Manglik.

This is mine with this guy I am thinking of approaching, but I don't have birthtime and only chose one according to his looks, so it could be inaccurate:

i tried it and i think it's a bit strange...my daughter and her father came out with a pretty low score, physical compatibility being one of the few 100%? of course they come from the same stock, at least partly, so i guess they are compatible that way...??

another thing, when i click alia's link i keep getting their chart and not hers. unless she is looking at two people with identical birthdata to my ex and child?

the first one i did came out at 33% - everything was 100 except the mental compatibility.

Yes in Vedic, Mars is taken very seriously.

My guy is Manglik, and I am not...but he has Saturn in the 1st house which is one of the astrological factors that can minimize the effects of being Manglik. Or Mars afflicted in relationships.

well the one i did re my ex and myself came out BELOW the minimum. 0% physical compatibility - i don't think so! and the one i did with a guy i have only barely connected with - granted this was one electric connections - came out at 91%, everything was 100 except for the mental compatibility which was very low. still with hardly any "mental compatibility" it came out higher than you say the newmans did!??

have to say i don't understand the interps very well....

the physical compatibility threw me off too, did some research and found that it's not about sex or attraction it's how compatible your doshas are (you know the vata, pitta, kappha you've heard about) - they're 3 types of basic temperament with corresponding physical traits and tendencies, etc. apparently vedic astrology in synastry places a huge importance on this factor being compatible since its awarded 8 pts which is the most. they may go so far as to warn against marriage if the "physical compatibility" is not in alignment since the children of the union are more at risk for health defects, so i've read.

the attraction you're thinking of is more Vaishya & Yoni, and this calculator is confusing because they've switched the placements, Vasishya is natural attraction minus accoutrements - your magnetism and another's, Yoni is about sexual compatibility which should be Trait #4, given a max of 4 pts. Griha or Graha Maitri is the "mental compatibility" and should be Trait #5 being given a max of 5 pts.

maybe theres another calculator out there.

Vashya : Mutual control – friendship.
Tara : Mutual beneficence-luck-auspiciousness
Yoni : Sexual aspects, affinity, urge, compatibility.
Graha Maitri : Psychological disposition, friendship.
Gana : Nature: Dev – Manush – Raakshas
Bhakoota : Children, growth of family.
Nadi: Temperaments, hereditary (astrological), affliction and death to other

Fun. I can't get used to the Aqua moon and Gemini Sun though. (Cancer, Pisces moon western)

I found it interesting that my email was addressed to male and not me, female. I understand that in India when a man wants to get married he can go to an astrologer and get matched up. I might add quickly---- the marriage is then planned after meeting his match, that's how seriously this is taken!!!

I dont know if I believe these calculations... they didnt seem right for a couple of people I have been involved with.

and the rest of the site seems very vague and not credible.

not to mention one person I scored in the 50s with on the soulmate calculator I scored like a 12 on the vedic one.

The physical bit was right - 0%! (except just after we broke up, grrr dontcha hate that!)

But we work together - and we work well together - we got 0% there too. That's not right.

16/36 under the minimum 18 = not good.

He is Manglik and I am not. Makes PERFECT sense to me

Destiny - 100%. For Life - 0%. The rest were pretty high.

Our soul mate calculations came out to 49 which is really high.

please stop reading the graph as literal, you have to research the qualities on each of the 8 scales. the person who came up with the labels did not translate accurately the qualities involved in each of the definitions.

this is about Varan:
"Varna suggests the degree of spiritual development of both male and female and complete points will be granted if they both belong to same kind of spiritual development. A Girl belonging to a higher Varan should not be mated to a boy of a lesser Varan. Both belonging to the same grade or degree while determining the Varan should be allowed."

it's not as cut and dry as tropical synastry, which is easier to read as it's very clearly defined, it takes much more into account the spiritual affinity of the couple on many layers.
