empathy is a curse when you're in a negative environmentI grew up in abusive household with my mother and stepfather. so I emotionally,psychically absorbed a lot of negativity in my domestic environment. It doesn't help that my mother is too with her overly strong water and her Sun in 12th trine Neptune. She was very effected by my stepfather's negativity too just like she thought I was affected by my stepfather's negativity. I was affected by both their negativity. Of course, their physical/emotional abuse of me affected me emotionally,psychically too.
I can empathized easily with people that dealt with child abuse, and I donate to child abuse prevention/treatment organization. I swore that I will be a much better parent than my parents were.
I was in the navy for 7 years. In the navy,there is a lot of negativity. Heck...when I was out to sea, people were missing their wives,girlfriends,and children. There was a lot of anger,sadness,and other feelings....a whole lot of of stress. I was on 2 ships that had low morale. I once said that bad attitudes spread like a disease. I didn't know about Astrology nor about being an empath. It was only after I learned about Astrology, I realized that I was an empath which was something that my mother always knew because she was one too. When I first consulted with an astrologer, he told me about my psychic sensitive. He told me that my depression in the navy was stemming from that psychic sensitivity. He stressed that I needed to take a spiritual path and be spiritually oriented and be around spiritually oriented people....even my wife has to be spiritually oriented.
I have to be honest with you, I am not sure if Pisces Moon or any other watersign moon has to do with empathy nor Neptune aspects. I am suspecting that the transneptunians have more to do with
they orbit beyond Neptune,and so they are more metaphysically oriented. I do have very strong transneptunian influence in my chart..some include Moon trine Quaoar-Ixion conjunction, square Varuna,sextile Sedna.
so maybe other empathic types have strong transneptunian influences. Pluto is a transneptunian. So empathic types could have strong Plutonian influences.
also...there are Pisces Moons that don't know how to relate to emotions.
I know an astrologer that has Moon in Pisces, and she has an autistic son that has Moon in Pisces. Autistics have problems with understanding emotional/social cues.
Therefore, I don't think that Moon in Pisces is necessarily an indicator for being perceptive of the feelings of others.
I have doubts about traditional astrology.
also with Moon in tropical Pisces, the Moon might actually be in the constellation of Aquarius. that's how it is in my case.
