Mars in different placements describes how we GET things (or other people) in this life.Like mars in gemini is "getting trough communication", or mars in pisces is "getting through accepting ",mars in sag is "getting through seeking",mars in leo is "getting through creating". My mars is "getting through desire"(scorpio). All my life i was getting obsessed with things or rather people i wanted to have in my life. Some of them surrendered, others got away(b%&$*&s!)Anybody want to share on how their mars placements influenced their lives?IP: Logged |

I allways get what i want but it takes time sometimes and hard work. I work in silence and get a great patience. I do not give up when i take a decision. I listen to my feelings and get a great intuition.

HMMM.. interesting question. My mars is in Libra, and all my life I have desired peace of mind!!! LOL> never found it though. Seriously, when we were kids my brother was always in trouble, and we had to go to family therapy. The councelor assigned us all these neat (sarcasm) labels. I was appointed "peacemaker" cause that is all I did my whole childhood! Take care of impaired adults, and raise my siblings. It was hard, and I thought when I reached adulthood, that would be all over with, but that is still my role...plus I'm a drama magnet. So do I creat drama just so I can try and fix it? Dunno, still workin on that answer.IP: Logged |

Hey Mars in Scorp here When I set my sights on anything I want/desire I will keep trying and trying until I get it.. sometimes I will give up (not straight away though!) and quite often I won't get it. I try not to use my Mars energy in relationships as from experience this is not a good thing. I have learned that if I desire something but the other person doesn't .. then that's their decision. I have to accept that. IP: Logged |

Mars in (sometimes defensive) Cancer - but placed in 8th house, part of a Stellium, cj. my Sun, Mercury & Vertex. I can apply a great deal of patience, steadfastness and perseverance if I want something. And .. it's true: Sometimes I go via sideways, in circles ... rather than directly approaching the thing/person I crave. 8th house: YES! I do try to make use of "paranormal" factors, a certain kind of magic, haha, I mean: I try to appeal to another person's "belief systems". I must admit: My need for self-defense and my craving for feeling "safe" sometimes is a nuisance. If I don't feel liked and/or respected ... I step back, quickly. I need some re-assurance - but it can be subtle! No need to be too ostentatious ...IP: Logged |

Yes starkiss. Right. I going to take care to my children from early age. We was an family and i started in school when my children was not old. Nurturing it is the right word. Nurture include my hole life from 16 years old and its looks like the life will continue soIP: Logged |

P.S.: Actually, I must admit: I am into "playing" (mind-)games a bit, am fascinated by these ... NOT "mean" mindgames. But I don't mind a slice of "obsession", if you know what I mean. It sort of .. turns me on. Also, in my erotic musings, I tend to be on the "exclusive" side, that is: I I really love and/or want someone, no one else is capable to capture my attention! I am the opposite of "cheating" - rather the type who clings to a cheater! (Also clinging to the idea that ONE DAY my magic and psychic love could "change" him ...)IP: Logged |

Mars in Leo here. When I want something I can be doggedly determined to get it, and almost obsessive I dare say. It's pretty hard to throw me off track when I have a goal in mind. When the object of my desire is another person, well it's a bit of a different story. I honestly don't care for the chase, and prefer to attract others to me rather than do the chasing. I certainly won't compete for somebody's affection, and I think I have a sense of entitlement that can make magic happen with very little effort on my part. I have to be careful about what I decide I want... It's in the 8th house, by the way. IP: Logged |

Alvarella - paranormal is the word.Do you use your astrological knowledge, like doing charts for them? I used to! Nowadays i just lock my mars/scorpio/8th in a deep basement and hope for the best. You will probably hear the explosion sometime in the future... IP: Logged |

Starkiss; yes I tend to anser my own questions once I have the nerve to actually ask them. lol.Can you do Mars in Virgo for my pain in the butt friend? These days it seems like the only way to get what he desires is to be angry and critical of everyone around him. He is driving us all crazy, and may or may not live out the week! (: IP: Logged |

I believe the third house. He is a sun/scorp and doesn't even know what the words chastity means. He has alot of Sag in his chart, but his rising is Cancer. He wages a war within himself of wanting freedom but wanting love. He told me he has several girls always on the back burner so to speak, because it gives him a sense of security. You know someone to fall back on. Trouble is, he chooses all the women from one group of friends which makes for major chaos. Yet he seems to feed off it. But doesn't seem aware that it hurts others. Or is he is aware, he doesn't awknowledge that fact. Thought he would get better with age, he is more confused than ever though. IP: Logged |

Typical - sex within group of friends,3rd house mars. So it's promiscuity for the old boy then...Insecurity - somebody on the back burner,"what if i will have nobody when i need to use them".Eternal love/freedom problem.Syndrome of unloved child - "want many people to be there for me",attention seeking. Been there myself, not proud of it.I was unloved child. Nightmare.IP: Logged |

Typical? Why so? 3rd house isn't the house of friends. It is the house of neighbours and siblings. In a way I regret pointing this out as next I am going to tell you that my Mars is placed in this house. But somehow I manage to get through most days without humping one of my neighbours, near relatives or friends. Sign= Aqua. I get through... being reasonable. Nothing like asking politely to get what you are after. No fuss, just after a yes or a no. Works most times I try it. There's no Virgo Mars person I know who isn't artistic in some strong way. It seeps out some way even if it has been repressed. Maybe this arse pain man needs to channel his energies. My mother is one of the Virgo Mars people. Can be quite carping, but give her some detailed artistic project to do and she shines through. IP: Logged |

Another Mars in Libra here. Mine's in my 5th house. Gah, I don't really like this placement, although I've learned to live with it I guess I 'get things' through my charm rather than bullying someone to give me what I want. After all, they say you can catch more flies with honey. This Mars in Libra placement reminds me of the following story from the Iliad(why Mars the aggressive sign should not be in peaceful Libra LOL): quote: In his epic of the Trojan War, Homer tells how Aphrodite intervened in battle to save her son Aeneas, a Trojan ally. The Greek hero Diomedes, who had been on the verge of killing Aeneas, attacked the goddess herself, wounding her on the wrist with his spear and causing the ichor to flow. (Ichor is what immortals have in the place of blood.)Aphrodite promptly dropped Aeneas, who was rescued by Apollo, another Olympian sponsor of the Trojans. In pain she sought out her brother Ares, the god of war who stood nearby admiring the carnage, and borrowed his chariot so that she might fly up to Olympus. There she goes crying to her mother Dione, who soothes her and cures her wound. Her father Zeus tells her to leave war to the likes of Ares and Athena, while devoting herself to the business of marriage.
P.S. My Mars in Libra is not conjunct my Sun/Pluto conjunction if anyone cares P.P.S. blue moon LMAO! "In a way I regret pointing this out as next I am going to tell you that my Mars is placed in this house. But somehow I manage to get through most days without humping one of my neighbours, near relatives or friends." I find it hard to restrain myself from this personally ------------------ `Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.' ~Lewis Carroll (Formerly known as Hexxie) IP: Logged |

Yep, what you describe is true, both starrkiss and Blue Moon.My friend had a terribly abusive father. I mean he looks like Jack Nicholson did in the shining. Anyway, apparently, while Mom was at work, the Dad abused the kids, my friend and his two year older sis. He denies any sexual abuse to his person, but I have my reasons to suspect. He was put in the closet while the Dad did things to the sister. He was really beaten badly though, and he is somewhat dislysic (sp?) and his father taunted him with "stupid" and "dumba$$", things like that. To over comphensate his mom is now all over him. She and he are on the phone 5-6 times a day. (don't forget he has cancer rising) and the women he goes with are all older. Ranging from 8 years, to his live in who is 21 years older. I've thought about it alot, since I am around it alot, and I think he thinks the older women will put up with more crap, (though that isn't logical) but they are more patient in some ways. I dunno, I could be over analyzing. Mommy complex. He has heavy Libra as well, and he is like "I love so and so, yes, I am in love with them, definetly." And the next week he completely changes his mind! I can relate somewhat with Moon in Libra, but I don't change my mind whether or not I love someone, just some times my intensity waxes and wanes. He is VERY creative, only he did not know it until I pointed it out. He makes picture collages, cause he is a picture freak. And he would add cute little captions and stuff. So I taught him scrapbooking, and never would I have thought a dude would get into that! He loved it! For xmas I bought him scissors with decorative edges, stickers, and colored paper. He send me numerous pics on my phone of his creations. It was like a kid. He can be so truly lovable some times. I just wish I could help.....ahhh...there I go again! IP: Logged |

Another Mars in Virgo here. :-p It conjuncts my Venus/Asc + trines Uranus. I'm very particular and I'll admit to being a bit of a perfectionist. I get what I want through organization, analyzing..and sometimes nagging (...I can be a bit impatient and I don't realize I'm doing it at the time!) I'm extremely goal oriented and when I want something there's no stopping me. IP: Logged |

Anicia; What is your sun? Just curious because you said, impatient. My friend from above is very impatient, he doesn't nag, but that could be a male vs. female thing. He is a total perfectionist, he will rip something out of your hands, and say, "LET ME DO THAT, YOUR DOING IT ALL WRONG!!!" But like I said, he is Scorp sun, so he can come across as mean when he feels like it.IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Gemini in the 5th house and I find that I do get things by communicating my wishes. I aggressively pursue the fun things because it is super important to me as a Leo. My love advice is always “Talk to them!”, I am a competitive “athlete” and even more competitive at trivia (a Gemini specialty). I also think it contributes to my creative A.D.D. – I do a little bit of every creative activity, but I am only the master of some of them (not “none”, you must be crazy :P )! My 3rd house is ruled by Aries (strong, forceful communication) so they really work as a team (a wordy, aggressive team) and things usually work out. IP: Logged |
