Yeah.....somehow all the 5th house stuff really just didn't play out for me this year. I was actually overseas this year for my bday and was excited for the change of location for my return chart for what that 5th house stellium might bring, esp. creatively since I'm in the arts...and the NN on the DSC didn't either...if anything I was more down in the dumps, not really doing anything with myself, and isolated that I have been in a long time. Which is why I feel like looking only at the SR is indeed a little too general for me. For instance- comparing my SR to my natal, that 5th house stellium falls into my 8th, and the NN into my 12th which make way more sense to me given this last year. I guess I just need a little more context to really understand them. IP: Logged |

I always compare natal to Solar Return chart. That's what astrologers advise to do. especailly look for any natal conjunctions to the Solar Return planets, angles
I always compare natal to Lunar Return chart to. I have John Townley's Lunar Return book, and he compares natal positions to Solar Return positions......looking only at conjunctions. I do that with Solar Return and Lunar Return charts. I don't put much emphasis on natal houses in solar return houses and vice versa. I also look at transiting planets in return charts
like check transiting Sun in solar return houses. check transiting Moon in lunar return houses. you can progress return charts too. a lot of astrologers have various methods in working with return charts. Raymond

I was heartbroken on my last Venus Return. My mom had died a few months earlier, and the VR happened on the day before her birthday. So the mourning was especially strong around that time. The VR does describe my feelings that day: ~VR Moon cnj n.Pluto in my 12th house ~VR Neptune in my 4th house opp my n.MoonThat chart didn't set the stage for my year though, Venus-wise. I got married this year, and I think the Solar Return better illustrates that: ~SR Moon in the 5th house trine Sun ~SR Moon in a grand trine with n.Sun & Moon ~SR Juno cnj n.Venus Something I found spooky...I looked at the Venus Return for the year I first had sex, and it happened just as my soon-to-be boyfriend and I were moving from friends to couple. After a 5 month long flirtation, we finally exchanged numbers the day before the VR and we spoke on the phone for the first time either the night of the VR or the next night, can't remember. (Not phone sex. ) IP: Logged |

Hey Sharon, you would need to go to astro.com and find the exact degrees for your venus, then make a separate 'birth chart' for it. It's kind of frustrating to do!IP: Logged |

Heh... MVM~Lots of Uranus energy applying on that Sun from Jupiter in Aqua squaring the Sun, and Uranus trining the Sun. All in all, exciting times, unless you have something against not knowing what happens next, in which case it can be frustrating. I like that Moon conj AC from 12th though.... Scorpio Sun and Mercury wants things to be brought to the surface, but Moon wants to keep things elusive, while at the same time, Jupiter says... forget feelings and bringing issues to the surface, "Let's go with the electric flow"... LOL... This sounds like fun, uncertain love and monetary times. IP: Logged |

Yeah it's certainly feeling that way already, Unmoved LOLWhat's interesting is that I was reading to look at Venus Returns every 8 years because it seems that when a lot of big stuff happens. I know for me when I think back every 8 years, it's some magical stuff. First real relationship when I was 16 First true love and hairiest break-up when I was 24 Marriage when I was 32 ....so now I have to wait until I'm 40 for the next batch o' love?! Hell no!!!! Here is my next Venus Return chart and my Solar Return chart.I am going to have a lunar return on the same day as my Venus return. I am going to have a lunar return on the same day as my Solar Return. I have Sun square Moon in the Venus Return Chart. I have Sun trine Moon in the Solar Return chart, and that reinforces Sun trine Moon in my natal chart. Venus is square Jupiter-Neptune in my Venus Return chart. I have Venus trine Jupiter-Neptune in my next Solar Return Chart. Venus trine Uranus-Descendant conjunction and sextile Ascendant in Venus Return looks nice. Natal Uranus conjunct Solar Return Venus in 11th. The Stationary North Lunar sextile the Venus-Uranus trine (at the Venus/Uranus midpoint) and trine the Ascendant looks really nice. Well...I prefer spiritually oriented,New Age,New Thought partners that are into metaphysical stuff. Therefore, the types of women that I would meet would be at my interfaith unity church, intuitive Healing Arts Fairs, and holistic/metaphysical workshops/lectures,meetup groups. I am not into the club, nightlife scene, and so I am not looking for women there. I will have to work to keep my idealism in check and not get wrapped up in fantasies. I have to avoid deception, illusion, confusion in my lovelife. It looks like a time that I can be very attractive, sociable and greatly increase my lovelife. a woman with a strong Jupiter,Neptune,Uranus influence seems very likely. It can be a very exciting time. It definitely looks like unexpected, sudden opportunity for love and relationships but have to exercise good judgment and avoid getting involving with the wrong type of woman. I can use the law of attraction, and I already made my vision board made too.

Thanks for answering MyVirgoMask. I've got the chart and it was a bit annoying to do on astro. I just can't find anywhere that does a venus report for interpretations. Anyone know? Or is it that there is none? Thanks sharon IP: Logged |

MVM, I've been obsessed with T-squares lately...the idea that the third planet is the "solution" to the warring energy of the opposed planets. So your V return looks kind of interesting/exciting to me. If you activate that 4th house Scorpio Sun (maybe getting in touch with what you really want vis a vis home and family, metaphorically or otherwise...and looking at how you want to transform yourself [Scorp] in that area?), it will be the "solution" to the battle between your (yes, scary) VR Moon-Mars and the "Gang of Three" in your VR 7th house. Venus on the VR IC seems very significant also in terms of looking at what is "home" to you, what is "family" to you. And mother issues. It does look a little, umm, intense. But I doubt you have to wait till 40 for passion with that Scorpionic Venus Return. (What's up with the Pluto in the 5th there? That ought to be interesting. Planets tight to angles mean a significant year in SRs according to cafe astrology, so it would be true in a Venus Return too...I also read somewhere that planets falling at 29 degrees or 1 degree in a SR are significant, denoting intense transformation in that area that year...so you've got that going on with Pluto and Saturn (V not counting, since I assume you have that at 1 degree Scorp natally.) I looking in venusreturn at year 1984. The year i meet my daughters father who i lived togheter with in 15 year. Venus conj sun (house 6, 4 degree apart from DC) venus conj sun(house 6) trine moon (house 1) venus conj sun (house 6)trine pluto (house 9) sun conj venus opposite neptunus(house 12) moon trine pluto moon(house 1)sextile neptunus (House 12) neptunus sextile pluto The planets make a dragon. 1984 change my life and i have no one square only one opposite in the aspect of dragon. My year in 2009-2010 I have two t-square from venus (house 5) to uranus opposit saturnus venus also opposite pluto (house 11)
I have two t-square this year. my second t-square are between moon (house 9)in square to merk moon in square to jupit, nept, chiron (house 1) merk(house 7)opposite jup, nept, chiron (house 7) Some kind of transformation i understand it will be in the year of 2009-2010. My solar return is not so hart aspected as venus return for this year. In solar return venus (house 1) conj asc in 1 degree orb venus conj my natal mars, nod and venus venus opposite pluto(conj DC in house 7)(natal house 5) moon also in house 7(natal house 5) It was intresting to se the most change in my life in the year in 1984 when i meet my daugthers father and moved togheter with him only including positive aspects in venus return. 2009-2010 cant be more different with the two t-square. It would be intresting to see what will be happened.

1 + 3 + 2009 = 6 Yes, Lovely Leo, 2009 is a "Venusy" year for you. Opinions vary as to when exactly the year starts. Some say January, some say your birthday, others say Spring. quote: I am a sun Taurus .. would that = 2?
Taurus, ruled by Venus is a 6.

Not exactly, but to find where you are in the nine year cycle simply add the numbers like you do in figuring out the lifepath. Here's the formula: Sun Sign + Birthday + Current Year. This particular person (12.5.1984) is having a #2 year. Taurus = 6 6+12+2009 = 2 Excerp quote: ...Your domestic life should be a priority in the coming year. Where you live and your lifestyle should go under the microscope. Are you happy with your lifestyle, are you content with where you live? These are the questions you must ask yourself. People born in the astrological sign of Cancer or the opposite sign of Capricorn are likely to enter or impact on your life for some reason. When they do, you'll know you are on the right path...

"Raymond, that VR Sun in the 3rd in Sag looks great for improving romantic communication and sociability...meeting and intellectually connecting with people who can help you expand your horizons, maybe."yeah....Venus is in 3rd in the Venus Return chart just like it it is in my natal. That reinforces my natal placement. Mercury in Sagittarius is in 3rd in the Venus Return chart. I have Mercury in 3rd in my natal, and so that placement is reinforced by the Solar Return placement. I am looking mostly forward to Sun trine Moon in my solar return chart. I am going to have a lunar return on same day as my Solar Return. I have Sun trine Moon, and so the Solar Return chart greatly reinforces my natal Sun trine Moon.
It's going to be one of the most significant solar return periods ever. I really like Venus trine Jupiter in the Solar Return. I'd rather the Solar Return play out than the Venus Return. I have Venus oppose Sedna in my next Venus Return chart just like I have it in last Venus Return chart. Transiting Sedna oppose my Venus which I have going on right now. I have Sedna in 7th in my next Solar Return. That might be a deeply spiritual, compassionate partners. It could also indicate that the partner could have been abused, betrayed, and victimized in the past. Of course, I will have to avoid being abused, betrayed, and victimized in relationship. I will avoid abusing, betraying, and victimizing my partner too. I will be compassionate, spiritual with my partner. Raymond

Lucia, I'm totally weirded out with the VR chat too! The T-squares are pretty scary, right? I hear that the 'missing planet' is the one which is 'acted' out usually (since it's the missing leg of the chair), so since Taurus is the missing planet in the fixed T-square, maybe I will be kinda Taurean or something this year? LOL. Who knows. Pluto in the 5th... hmm.... interestingly, I am seeing someone with this aspect, and it's the ruler of his 7th house cusp (like mine)...sooo.... I dunno. It caught my eye as well. My SR chart has Venus in the 1st house conjunct the asc (in Leo), and I have the same planets in the 7th as I do in the VR chart. I am settling into where I am now, trying to create a home for myself... after years and of trying to get back to the bay area, and now doing things on my own terms as far as where to live/making a living. It's been highly intense. I also have been having a VERY strong sense for the past 6-8 months that I'm about to get into a new long-term relationship, and it's almost like I am scenting it somehow...it's in the air and I've been following the scent.

I have not so many month to next VR and my life is easy and calm and its still going on. Here are my VR. My SR are not so hard as my VR. In SR I have an venus conj asc. Venus also conj my natal mars. Lucia- I don't think you need to add asteroids to your VR to make things seem more exciting- you have venus at the midheaven opp. your north node! Probably a very social and meaningful year for you. I read that NN in VR's mean meeting someone who is very significant to your life- although I'm not totally sure what an opposition would indicate in this case...IP: Logged |
