I have a close friend who AGAIN cheated death last night. A huge truck/tanker turned in on the highway - the guy in front of him hit it head on and he swerved his car and missed the whole thing (just).. while the 4 cars behind him piled up into the accident. He has technically died three times (drowned, car accident and something else I can't remember) 3 of his past girlfriends have died (one in the car accident he was in), and a few of his friends. He's only 23. There was someone he started talking to on the internet about 2 months ago and she died 3 weeks ago in a car wreck. All of these people are young (no older than 25). If I post his chart, is there anything that points to this? This is getting beyond freaky. He called me last night and left a message on my phone to say "well... I just missed a 5 car pile up and cheated death again ...just wanted to brag to someone about it [laughs]" ... he deals with this extremely well. If there are any asteroids I need to add please let me know and I'll repost the chart with asteroids. ETA: I just read Unmoved's post in Astrology forum here regarding Lilith in the 8th "This position usually brings contacts with deaths and losses in early years. By your internal wisdom you understood with the years that death is a part of the life." !! I still wonder if there is anything in his chart which points to cheating death himself though. Interested to hear others' opinions IP: Logged |

I can't really add to this but my older brother has been legally dead multiple times as well as other miraculous incidents where he should have died or been hurt. If anyone is interested in doing a study I could post his chart as well. IP: Logged |

Hi Anicia I'd be interested in seeing his chart! I am not so good with interpreting but can you post it with the Lilith position too? From the quote I posted above I gathered it was more that Lilith in the 8th means you have lots of death around you ... not necessarily yourself.. but would still be interested in seeing where it lies in his chart IP: Logged |

Hi! Lilith is in his 6th house. I'm not the best at interpreting charts either. IP: Logged |

car accidents, on the road, short journeys typically relate to h3. 1st young man his h3 ruler - jupiter - is in h6, of health, square to his h3 uranus. looks to be the same case with 2nd man, his h3 ruled by jupiter which occupies his h6 and is in square to his h3 planets namely the sun. that's the only similarity i can see that might point to luck related to accidents. edit, and also probably the amount, as jupiter expands, in this case with the square possibly the amount of accidents and also tenanted in h6 the body's capability to recover. i'd be curious to see if a similar incident surrounded them during their jupiter returns, every 12 yrs or so. Thanks Lonake!! I will get the info off him and find out when these accidents occurred and where Jupiter was in his chart. Interesting that they have same rising sign/similar house placements, both with Jupiter in 6th. !!!!!!! Very intriguing..

both of the jupiter's are also in strong trines, the 1st to the man's mc ruler, his moon in cancer - which can account maybe for his lighthearted (looney = lunar) approach to the matter, jupiter trine moon. jupiter sq uranus which is that major h3/h6 aspect i was referring to above, please make sure he watches out for himself, i know im not his mom but uranus h3 tends to play it somewhat reckless out there, and neptune there he could get easily lost or distracted. the 2nd man his chart i find interesting, as his jupiter's major trine is to his h6 ruler, located in h2. this is if his time of birth is very exact because that cusp is varying pisces/aries, nevertheless mars or neptune would be involved and theyre both involved in the following: neptune h2 sort of a dissolving of the mundane in a sense, it's oppsed his mars h8, and they're both in tune with h12 pluto and h6 jupiter to make a mystic rectangle. there is some heaviness to his configurations, a very strong weight, im wondering about any near death experiences for him, the type that has a spiritual awakening in a sense? i wonder with all that pressure pushing down on his sun/moon if it was all orchestrated on a different plane to relieve him of some type of tension that he's been experiencing for quite some time now, or if the experiences came when he was under great emotional duress (namely really feeling that h12 pluto sq his sun/moon). this is all just speculation, mind. either way the topic is incredibly fascinating, and for both men, very strong souls, wishing them well IP: Logged |

His time of birth is exact. I checked his birth certificate before I posted his chart. I can't say for sure what was going on in his life when his experiences happened. There's a large age gap between us - he pretty much raised me actually. I was just very young during these times. He's someone who's always had very strong faith. Honestly the strongest I've ever seen in anyone. He's very emotionally disturbed though. I just don't think he's ever had real peace but I wont get into that. This is his most vivid experience that I know of: He was having surgery for sleep apnea when he was around 23 and they were having difficulty keeping him "under" and ended up putting him too far down. He was legally dead. He says that during the time he was gone he had what he thought was a dream about him waking up but the room being very bright. He said he looked over and saw our grandfather only he was a very young man. He said he just smiled and waved at him - nothing else. My brother says he wishes he could of thought of something better to say then just "Hey Grandpa! What are you doing here?" xD IP: Logged |

I noticed that both of them have Gemini in the 8th house...maybe multiple chances at life ( ie, cats have 9 lives.)Maybe a stretch, but something worth looking at. It would be interesting to see how the sign in the 8th house influences ones life span & death. I have Leo in the 8th and some sites have claimed that this is linked to a long life, since Leo ruled by the Sun is shining in this house & staving off death for as long as possible. IP: Logged |

I've had so many near death experiences also. Here's my chart. It's similar to the ones above. edit: an example of my weird experiences is that I was hit by a bus when I was young. The bus flung me across the road. I did lose consciousness but when I came to, the only evidence that something happened to me was that I had a scratch on my leg. The bus, on the other hand, was a mess. The front of the bus was crushed. The doctors and the police didn't know what to make of the whole thing. After that I got better grades at school too. Weird. I'm one of these people too. I feel like I have one foot in this world and one in the next. I've had 18 surgeries, been in countless car accidents and have been very, very ill. I'll see if I can post my chart. It is posted in another thread, but its hard for me to do. technologically ignorant........ IP: Logged |

I don't have a birth time, but I know someone who almost drowned while on a long vacation, and went into surgery for a collapsed lung twice before he was 23 (he actually walked around with it for a week because he refused to go to the doctor, so he was really lucky). It's not beyond freaky, but still worth looking at I think. He has Jupiter conjunct Mars in Pisces, square Sun/Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Sagittarius, and trine Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio.IP: Logged |

Interesting how the first two charts were born near new moons (sun/moon conjunction) and share Libra rising. The chart of Anicia's brother has the 8th house ruler at a critical degree (29 Scorpio), but it's also trine an angular Saturn -- so he has longevity despite 8th-house crisis situations. Mars in the 8th also brings accident-proneness, a danger of death by violence or where blood loss (Mars) is involved. The Mars-Jupiter sextile can save him in situations where he ordinarily would die. (I have an 8th house Mars in Gemini sextile Jupiter as well... plus Libra rising... and I am definitely accident-prone but lucky, too.) MsCandeh's friend has an unaspected 8th house ruler (I don't count trines to the nodes). The qualities of unaspected planets tend to either run amok or hide away completely... or alternate between the two extremes. So 8th house affairs pop up sporadically and in severe ways. The highly beneficial star Spica is conjunct his ascendant, bringing some good luck that may override the dangers he faces. Unmoved... your chart also has a Saturn/8th house ruler connection (conjunct) which I really think helps a person outlive potentially fatal experiences. Your Chiron is also pretty close to Algol -- the star of extreme violence, beheadings, etc. -- with Mars in opposition. This is a really interesting thread! ------------------ Denise Red Rock Astrology IP: Logged |

Interesting topic. The ruler of his 8th house makes a nice angle (quincunx) with Jupiter, indicating good luck. The ruler of his 12th house makes a nice angle with Saturn, indicating death only when it's "time". I dunno. I am just theorizing. lol. IP: Logged |

lonake, thanks for the interpretation! I think he does have a bit of a 'I am invincible' streak in him, but I think that may have come about due to him surviving accidents! Will definitely remind him of his mortality though! belgz, Haha yes I gotta say he is an extremely charming guy. It wouldn't surprise me if he charmed his way out of death lol JChristine, When I spoke to him about this recent accident I said.. "so how many lives left do you have now?" .. We have an ongoing joke about him being a cat in a past life who died before the 9 lives were up so he brought them into this life lol (okay that may seem weird but eh!) .. but the Gemini in the 8th is an interesting theory. Unmoved, Apologies if this seems insensitive but your experience reminded me of the movie Hancock lol I wonder if there is anything to this in your chart too! Origami_salami, I also noticed the new moons between the two charts. It's interesting as I think my friend's life revolves around a lot of 8th house issues. He lives in 8th even though he doesn't have any planets there/the house ruler is unaspected. I would say this is significant in his life (i.e. runs amok)... good observation Belage, thanks for your input too! Very interesting! He certainly has a lot of luck and I read on astro.cafeastrology.com (though a VERY short interp) quote: "House VIII in TaurusHappy old age, natural death. Inheritance. "
well its always reassuring to read stuff like that anyway Well, I just asked him the dates of the accidents and he said he cant remember them exactly as he tries to forget things like that, which is a fair call, I am sure he could if he tried to but I didn't want to push it. The accident on Friday night: tUranus conjunct his nJupiter in H6 tJupiter semi-sextile nJupiter (tChiron exact semi-sextile nJupiter, tNeptune semi-sextile as well) natally the star SPI (not sure what it means) is conjunct his sun. the fixed star REG conjunct his Venus. Thanks for all the input this is really interesting! IP: Logged |
